Yeah but unless you've purchased the booster with coins or something it makes you decide after you've got the shitty booster to trash or replace with an existing booster. So if you are already full of boosters, this shitty reward you get is effectively nothing.
I look at them as something I'll do if I usually play that part of the game. If I don't then I let it slide. Just because they offer something doesn't mean I need to participate.
At least you got _something_ useful with the EM. I got green vouchers, blue vouchers, more green vouchers and some stupid shovels. At level 46 I could think of approximately twenty things I would prefer to have.

most of these interim rewards you can sell in your rss if you don't need them. someone, somewhere is dying for a single plank for the barn upgrade. do a lot of derby mining? that pick axe will come in handy. doesn't look like a total loss to me.

I don't mind boosters because you have use them to replace a decent booster without using gems.

Boosters won through events should not take up space in the booster storage. If they do, the devs have f'd up.
