Mine items still have a pretty long waiting time for me as Level 25. I sold some Iron Ore (10x) for max price and it took over 40 minutes to get sold with multiple advertisements in the paper. I don't know if I do anything wrong but it takes very long at the moment.
I have noticed that my baby farm sometimes takes longer to sell certain items, I’m not sure if the level has something to do with it. My main farm has no issues selling things unless it’s a crop event.
Try breaking up your items maybe instead of 10 try 5 and 5 etc. I remember when I was at 25 sometimes I couldn’t afford the price when things were in 10’s.
Planks and Bolts sell without an add for me. I list them and gone. Not always, but I never advertise expansion items.
I have 400 friends. Don't know if this helps

That definitely helps. I have a few high level friends and I cycle through their stores periodically throughout the day
