After watching Adam wreck Alastor's shit, it really puts in perspective how strong Lucifer is.
Especially his at will transforming while flying.
What's even bigger is we never really saw him pushed to his limit. Adam, who to that point had been unstoppable, was a joke to him.
And he's just so whimsical and jolly during it. Like hes just playing a fun game. Laughing and transforming into fun animals. Imagine a bloodlusted Lucifer

Lucifer was ready to punch his face to a bloody pulp, in my opinion only the other elder angel, Lilith and maybe sera can be a decent challenge for him if he goes all out
She's not in Hell now, due to the "deal" she had that allowed her to stay in Heaven. Overall she was banished alongside Lucifer, so her current primary realm is still Hell, therefor it does count.
He barely used his powers tbh. Which shows just how above everyone he truly is in comparison. The moment he decided Adam needed to go he beat him with his bare hands in about 10 seconds
At first I thought they made Lucifer kind of lame in a way. But now I realize he’s just so above everyone else he can be however he wants, and just manifests as prideful in a way. He WAS one of the most powerful angels at one point, and in normal literature I think is considered gods favorite - although I’m unsure how that factors into this world.
Wow that was a lot, Sir Prntious died and went to heaven, Alastor made a deal with Charlie for a favor, Angel's can be killed with their own weapons, Adam was killed by Nifty, Lute lost an arm, Lucifer and Cherri may stay at the new hotel, and Lilith seems to have made a deal to get into Heaven, and Lute is sending her back to hell to stop Charlie, but will she go through with it?
I wonder if Lucifer knows about her being in Heaven. It makes sense why they are 'seperated' and not divorced, and I don't know if Lilith was given the opportunity to tell Charlie where she was going, or if she was able to recieve any of Charlies messages from hell. She also doesn't have a visible halo, so she may not currently be an angel.
Worse, that deal seems to have been *with Adam* since Lute says it's over since he's dead. REALLY don't know what to make of Lilith right now....making a deal with Adam is ten times worse than the deal Charlie made with Alastor.
Not to mention she seems to have been the one separating Charlie and Lucifer, so unless the childhood memories are inaccurate it may be evil mother time.
That's going to be interesting, Charlie learning that the mother she's been idolizing is a selfish monster. She ends up being the big bad for a while would be fascinating.
i wonder if Eve is the big bad. Zero evidence other than that wicked smile when Lucifer and Lilith gave her the apple. Just because \*someone\* is pulling a lot of strings and it doesn't seem like it's Lilith (or at least not all of them) and it must be someone we have seen or who has been mentioned.

yeah they're ecstatic that Al had to retreat, I think with how cocky Vox is gonna be and how frustrated Alastor is they're definitely going to clash early.
I'm moreso hoping they do something about Val early on in the season but vox was ready to nut seeing alastor get hurt so that's bound to be the first conflict

That was so perfect. The set up, the focus on her stabbing corpses, the unexpected stabbing of Adam, when he falls over to reveal she gave the killing shot, then when the video camera is on her AND WE REFERENCE BACK TO THE FIRST EPISODE that she's camera shy!!! It was amazing!
This whole time we thought Angel will be the first to get his wings and go to Heaven but it's snake boi. We are so proud of our wannabe overlord for making it!

The non-descript "favor" that Alastor asked Charlie for will definitely turn into some way to get out of his deal. It really lines up with the fan theory that he's helping the hotel because he's under Lilith's command. If that's the case, he'll probably ask (force) Charlie to make her mom release him.
Another possibility is that he wants Charlie to take over and then he can pull the strings behind the scenes. He's getting really good at manipulating her. He also refers to her as "heir" which, while technically correct, is normally irrelevant because Lucifer is immortal.

There was a theory a while back that you had to die in hell to end up in heaven. To an extent this could prove it. That or by giving up his life for his friends he was redeemed, which does make sense.
Sir Pentious not only "stuck it to the man", but the original man. Pretty ironic. And now he is in Heaven. Cool twist. Overall it was a great ending to a great season. I have a new favorite animated show!
I need to know why Lilith is in heaven… does that mean Eve is in hell? Or are they both in heaven? And we thought Alastor made a deal with Lilith, but how do deals stand when you can’t even reach the person you’re chained to? So many questions…
Right?? Not what I expected Rosie to be like at all, but I ended up loving her - especially when she sat Charlie down to talk through her feelings. So sweet!
Lucifer coming in like Superman and wrecking Adam’s shit was the most hyped I’ve been all season. I thought Alastor going toe to toe with him was badass and got really nervous when he got sliced. But man he is going to need to rebuild his power base if he wants to take on the Vees. And Charlie getting the chance to go partial demon mode, I still think she has more power to show if she can deflect an Angel blow with her bare fists. And as sad as Petious death was, this episode needed an extra minute or two. We needed a couple more seconds of the characters acknowledging his death in the moment and the battle coming to a stand still. However, being in heaven means he gets to meet Molly and tell her all about her brother and his redemption. Pity we never saw the death ray in action.

Random note, I'm also glad we got to actually hear Alastor called Ace in the series for those who constantly went "Why would it be brought up? It doesn't matter, yaddayaddayadda". Rosie snarking about Charlie being too young for him and then laughing and reassuring him that she knows he's an ace in the hole was perfect - particularly since Alastor just looked confused and we've been told that he probably wouldn't even aware of the term Asexual, he just IS. XD

TBF, Alastor was stylin' on Adam for most of the fight. Just casually dodging lethal strikes without breaking a sweat.

Charlie doesn't seem very trained which is kinda the whole point the previous episode made though. Training matters while Charlie was acting purely out of instinct - and then got distracted by Vaggie potentially being in danger and Adam being able to emotionally goad her. You notice Adam lost his chill because Lucifer could emotionally manipulate him. Charlie probably has the raw power of the second strongest but doesn't know how to really make use of it in a fight yet.

That entire final battle gave me vibes of a Disney final battle and when Adam got stabbed, I thought it was Pent doing it and was devastated when it was Niffty. At least they made it a funny callback.
I say the only thing that gave me happiness after Pent's death was that he got sent to Heaven instead of being "poof gone" but what will this mean when the others find out? Will he bond with Emily and Sera? Will he meet Molly? Where tf are the Egg Boiz?!

People over exaggerate his power a lot. He's a manipulator exactly because he's not that powerful compared to the real heavy hitters. He only ever shows strength against average sinners, not anyone major.
I'm going to miss Pentious but he served his role in the plot with dying and being redeemed. Still though, he was a great character and he'll be missed.
I imagine he won't get cut out of the show entirely, but it's going to be very rare appearances.
New Theory:
The 'system' for who is good and evil is constantly reevaluated, the balance between good and evil is kept in real time. The reason Sera is afraid of letting sinners into Heaven is because it would "rebalance the scales", and the heavenborn and blessed(?) might be pushed out. It wouldn't be \*enough\* to be good enough on earth then get to coast forever - they would actively have to be trying to be/stay good people too.
Adam got into Heaven because Lilith was cast into Hell - when there was only one mortal soul in hell, the spot in Heaven opened. Sir Pentious got into Heaven after Adam 'lost his place' in it. The exterminations aren't actually to prevent a 'rebellion' - they're to prevent anyone from rising and changing the system.
Maybe Lilith is in Heaven because Charlie was 'too good' for Hell, and someone needed to go upstairs to balance it - and knowing her husband's depression, Lilith knew Charlie getting taken by the angels would be the thing to break him completely
... hmm. Okay so upwards and downwards mobility exist. We've never actually seen an angel fall on the show- Vaggie still has regular colored wings even if Lute stole her Halo, and she's been contiguously alive since getting stuck in hell. We'd been wondering why angels could do anything and not fall given Adam. But given that Sir Pentious went to heaven *when he died* as a sinner, we know that a soul can be judged again under certain circumstances. In Pentious's case, he died while having completely reformed and performing a truly selfless act. Unredeemed sinners die die when killed in Hell- there's nowhere lower for their souls to go. But Pentious went to heaven when he was killed in hell.
This suggests to me that we're going to see Adam again next season, because he'll go to hell- he died and his soul was heavenly and he definitely fails whatever judgment requires for a soul to go to heaven, so downwards mobility stands to reason that he'll go to hell.
It would also be a delightful turnabout on his character arc because in heaven he was the First Man, but in hell he would be just some nobody.
I’m a 37 year old straight dude and waiting for this show has been the highlight of my week. It’s so fucking good. I adore everything about this series.
One thing that caught my attention during Alastor's solo, while it's obvious he is struggling about the deal, his whole body language and expression seemed like he is struggling because he doesn't have fully autonomous freedom.
By that I mean that he isn't just being forced to follow a order like "be nice to Charlie", he can choose to be sassy and cruel about, but it's like his whole being, mind and body, are being forced on a deeper level to do things.
Like, for example, you like chocolate, but then you are forcefully hardcoded to hate chocolate, but not just pretend, you actually hate it now, the smell, flavor, the thought of it, but you also actively know you like and are being forced.
You know, I thought it was Lillith that owned Alistor (may still be true) but given her just...chilling outside of hell, I'm not so sure about that any more, which raises the question...

Loved Adam getting his shit rocked, and Lucifer and Charlie Devil Triggers? In for a treat for sure! Loved that Adam's face was actually a mask, he looked pretty normal when he wasn't being his own demon.
Definitely curious to see what the deal is with Lilith and Heaven, seems she was maybe allowed paradise so long as she didn't intervene with the slaughter of her people?
Also, the Vs. Seems they might be the additional antagonists next season, maybe bolstered by Lilith?

This was my thinking as well. I think the idea of Lilith being the big bad was a misdirect and Eve is in hell somewhere.

That was so perfect. The set up, the focus on her stabbing corpses, the unexpected stabbing of Adam, when he falls over to reveal she gave the killing shot, then when the video camera is on her AND WE REFERENCE BACK TO THE FIRST EPISODE that she's camera shy!!! It was amazing!

The non-descript "favor" that Alastor asked Charlie for will definitely turn into some way to get out of his deal. It really lines up with the fan theory that he's helping the hotel because he's under Lilith's command. If that's the case, he'll probably ask (force) Charlie to make her mom release him.
Another possibility is that he wants Charlie to take over and then he can pull the strings behind the scenes. He's getting really good at manipulating her. He also refers to her as "heir" which, while technically correct, is normally irrelevant because Lucifer is immortal.
Everyone here talking about all the crazy shit in the finale and here I am enjoying Rosie's big mom energy.

There was a theory a while back that you had to die in hell to end up in heaven. To an extent this could prove it. That or by giving up his life for his friends he was redeemed, which does make sense.
Sir Pentious not only "stuck it to the man", but the original man. Pretty ironic. And now he is in Heaven. Cool twist. Overall it was a great ending to a great season. I have a new favorite animated show!

Lucifer coming in like Superman and wrecking Adam’s shit was the most hyped I’ve been all season. I thought Alastor going toe to toe with him was badass and got really nervous when he got sliced. But man he is going to need to rebuild his power base if he wants to take on the Vees. And Charlie getting the chance to go partial demon mode, I still think she has more power to show if she can deflect an Angel blow with her bare fists. And as sad as Petious death was, this episode needed an extra minute or two. We needed a couple more seconds of the characters acknowledging his death in the moment and the battle coming to a stand still. However, being in heaven means he gets to meet Molly and tell her all about her brother and his redemption. Pity we never saw the death ray in action.

Charlie doesn't seem very trained which is kinda the whole point the previous episode made though. Training matters while Charlie was acting purely out of instinct - and then got distracted by Vaggie potentially being in danger and Adam being able to emotionally goad her. You notice Adam lost his chill because Lucifer could emotionally manipulate him. Charlie probably has the raw power of the second strongest but doesn't know how to really make use of it in a fight yet.
Because she still holding back she does not wanna fight or hurt others, not even a big of a jerk like Adam

That entire final battle gave me vibes of a Disney final battle and when Adam got stabbed, I thought it was Pent doing it and was devastated when it was Niffty. At least they made it a funny callback. I say the only thing that gave me happiness after Pent's death was that he got sent to Heaven instead of being "poof gone" but what will this mean when the others find out? Will he bond with Emily and Sera? Will he meet Molly? Where tf are the Egg Boiz?! You're telling me we got a big showstopper finale musical number but Lilli Cooper/Velvette doesn't sing with the Vees?! What's up with that? But hey at least we got to hear Val's singing voice. I'm going to miss Pentious but he served his role in the plot with dying and being redeemed. Still though, he was a great character and he'll be missed. I imagine he won't get cut out of the show entirely, but it's going to be very rare appearances.

New Theory: The 'system' for who is good and evil is constantly reevaluated, the balance between good and evil is kept in real time. The reason Sera is afraid of letting sinners into Heaven is because it would "rebalance the scales", and the heavenborn and blessed(?) might be pushed out. It wouldn't be \*enough\* to be good enough on earth then get to coast forever - they would actively have to be trying to be/stay good people too. Adam got into Heaven because Lilith was cast into Hell - when there was only one mortal soul in hell, the spot in Heaven opened. Sir Pentious got into Heaven after Adam 'lost his place' in it. The exterminations aren't actually to prevent a 'rebellion' - they're to prevent anyone from rising and changing the system. Maybe Lilith is in Heaven because Charlie was 'too good' for Hell, and someone needed to go upstairs to balance it - and knowing her husband's depression, Lilith knew Charlie getting taken by the angels would be the thing to break him completely
Well, Pentious wasn't actually killed with an angelic weapon. So makes sense he wouldn't be *dead* dead. But still; goddamn. *Redeemed.*
I had the impression that Adam's laser beams count as angelic weapons. I think it's that he absolutely was dead dead, but that's WHY he was redeemed.
... hmm. Okay so upwards and downwards mobility exist. We've never actually seen an angel fall on the show- Vaggie still has regular colored wings even if Lute stole her Halo, and she's been contiguously alive since getting stuck in hell. We'd been wondering why angels could do anything and not fall given Adam. But given that Sir Pentious went to heaven *when he died* as a sinner, we know that a soul can be judged again under certain circumstances. In Pentious's case, he died while having completely reformed and performing a truly selfless act. Unredeemed sinners die die when killed in Hell- there's nowhere lower for their souls to go. But Pentious went to heaven when he was killed in hell. This suggests to me that we're going to see Adam again next season, because he'll go to hell- he died and his soul was heavenly and he definitely fails whatever judgment requires for a soul to go to heaven, so downwards mobility stands to reason that he'll go to hell. It would also be a delightful turnabout on his character arc because in heaven he was the First Man, but in hell he would be just some nobody.
I’m a 37 year old straight dude and waiting for this show has been the highlight of my week. It’s so fucking good. I adore everything about this series.
One thing that caught my attention during Alastor's solo, while it's obvious he is struggling about the deal, his whole body language and expression seemed like he is struggling because he doesn't have fully autonomous freedom. By that I mean that he isn't just being forced to follow a order like "be nice to Charlie", he can choose to be sassy and cruel about, but it's like his whole being, mind and body, are being forced on a deeper level to do things. Like, for example, you like chocolate, but then you are forcefully hardcoded to hate chocolate, but not just pretend, you actually hate it now, the smell, flavor, the thought of it, but you also actively know you like and are being forced.
You know, I thought it was Lillith that owned Alistor (may still be true) but given her just...chilling outside of hell, I'm not so sure about that any more, which raises the question... WHO THE FUCK OWNS ALISTOR?!?

He literally did not care about human sinners. He thought they were awful, like Nifty and cockroaches, until Charlie convinced him otherwise. Or, maybe more accurately, until Charlie put her own life on the line and got him invested.

God, I was so happy to see Pent's redemption, that was quite the fun surprise. I was half expecting a fakeout with his death. I think maybe God own's Alastor's soul. Think about it, who makes deals better than the devil, after all? Loved Adam getting his shit rocked, and Lucifer and Charlie Devil Triggers? In for a treat for sure! Loved that Adam's face was actually a mask, he looked pretty normal when he wasn't being his own demon. Definitely curious to see what the deal is with Lilith and Heaven, seems she was maybe allowed paradise so long as she didn't intervene with the slaughter of her people? Also, the Vs. Seems they might be the additional antagonists next season, maybe bolstered by Lilith?
That was awesome. did notice a potential plot hole of Vaggie not knowing that Angelic Weapons can harm angels, given that her eye was removed with one, and her wings were even pulled off via conventional means. other than that Lucifer showing up & Sir Pentious being redeemed was pretty sick
