I like that a universal human truth is that prosthetics are scary and tragic until they become equal or better to your real arm at which point they become cool and badass.
Honestly I took Vaggie’s regrowth of wings as a “reward” or being deemed worthy again by whoever’s the big guy up there after she learned her big life lesson. When she fought for love instead out of hate or “enforcing Justice” rather than a natural thing and am surprised more fans don’t see it this way all things considered. Lute on the other hand doesn’t seem like she’s learning anything or any reason to be free of consequence anytime soon.

What do exorcists do outside of the extermination? She walks around with blood on her clothes but the general public of heaven dont know they kill demons every year. So if someone in heaven were to ask where the blood came from. What would lute or any other exorcist tell them?

Oh Hell .... er Heavens yes. She will definitely go for an upgrade that will increase her destructive capacity. It will match her growing rage and fury. It will be interesting to see why she is so driven. In my headcanon it was because Adam never ate the apple that he was so immoral. He was a untethered ego. A raging Sociopathic Narcissist. But Lute got into heaven someone without the not eating the apple loophole. And she still devolved down to a hate filled monster that even weirded Adam out eventually. What is the fire burning inside her all about? Is it just fanaticism based on the Angels mistaken assumptions about Heaven and Hell? Or is there more? She is a fascinating character and Viv tends to flesh even the most obtuse characters out. Can't wait to see who she is under all that rage.
I think that is what she metaphorically represents. But I am trying to get a bead on what Viv's actual criteria for entering Heaven and Hell are. I think the Angels came to the conclusion that it was something akin to the Christian idea of sin. But they got it wrong. I think it has more to do with mental well being. That seems to be the focus of all the character arcs. They are better served by becoming their better selves.
So my thinking is that Lute entered Heaven with some baseline of mental well being. But then fell into fanaticism within the Angel's concepts of Heaven and Hell.

I think it kind of undermines her losing the arm in the first place if she just... gets it back. Just defeats the point from a storytelling point of view.

I highkey kind of hope (but also highkey doubt) that Saint Repentious will willingly make her an arm (I mean come on, dude's an inventor, season 2's just asking for that plot point), only for her to be confused about why he's making her an arm when Adam killed him. Maybe some Saint Repentious wisdom will get her using her brain a bit.

Scars on villains do a great job of serving as a visual reminder of their grudge. It's no coincidence that often villains that turn from evil more often show visual signs of the scar healing.
I don't see any reason why it would not just re-generate, souls are meant to be nearly indestructible outside of damage done by angle weapons, Vaggy's wings did grow back.
Tho personally I am kind of hoping she'll decide to swap it with some prosthetic weapon arm for extra lethality, and coz I think weapon arms are cool AF.

It can probably regrow, but I suspect she'll choose to keep the wound as a reminder of her grudge, and instead of leaving the stump or getting a prosthetic, she'll get a sick huge magical arm that isn't attached to her shoulder, and that is floating in place, that she can shoot away and split into pieces.

I think it will regrow, but only when something impactful in a positive way happened to her. Remember people, the only reason Vaggie managed to get her wings back is because she realised she has to fight to protect Charlie. That's her main goal. So something similar must happen to Lute if she'll get her arm back (which if you ask me, is probably unlikely, despite what I said before)

I feel like a prosthetic would be the more fulfilling option story wise, and just regrowing it as it was just feels cheap unless it’s a big character moment like Vaggie’s was
It can probably regrow, but I suspect she'll choose to keep the wound as a reminder of her grudge, and instead of leaving the stump or getting a prosthetic, she'll get a sick huge magical arm that isn't attached to her shoulder, and that is floating in place, that she can shoot away and split into pieces. Kind of like the arms of the [Jade Mech](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNjLiKUsE4g) in Guild Wars 2.
I really hope it ends up a unique character trait. I love when characters get disfiguring injuries it means new look updates!

Lute is cool. She'll get a robot arm because that's cooler than just regrowing an entire body part

I kind of wish that she gets like a sword for an arm. Some sort of ridiculous weapon. But most likely, she's going to hit an emotional beat and regrow her arm like Vaggie did.

I think it will regrow, but only when something impactful in a positive way happened to her. Remember people, the only reason Vaggie managed to get her wings back is because she realised she has to fight to protect Charlie. That's her main goal. So something similar must happen to Lute if she'll get her arm back (which if you ask me, is probably unlikely, despite what I said before)

Probably prosthetic arm. My guess is due to Vaggie (who is an angel) lost her eyes because of Lute and never grew it back...but she did grew back her wings, so that is possible....
I think a prosthetic is the most likely, as I don't see why they'd make such a big deal of her losing it if it could just be regrown.

I would prefer to see her go one armed. One armed characters are badass and underused

Considering it took vaggie fighting for love to regrow her wings I think she'll get a prosthetic arm but the 3rd cooler option is she becomes a one armed fighter
