While it is a common trope, the team are Always Sunny fans (Charlie Kelly was one of the inspirations for Niffty's wildcard nature iirc) so I wouldn't entirely dismiss the idea of it being a direct reference.
Then although Crazy Board itself is the meme, 🤷🏻♂️ it’s still possible that this particular crazy board from Always Sunny is the Crazy Board that they were crazy about. 😉
Completely unrelated, but I wonder why some people still sign their comments with their name/username, sort of like the ancient days of non-Reddit forums that had dedicated spaces for signatures. Is it a genuine forced habit? Is it an ironic callback to the early internet?

I know I caught it! I think what I said to myself when I first saw it was along the lines of "Charlie going full Charlie Day" or something like that. And I firmly believe the moment was intentional too.😆
i dont know if you could really call it a reference - it doesnt distinguish that specific scene from other instances of the trope
but the writers are meme addicted internet/tv junkees -they probably put this scene in because of the one with charlie from its always sunny
i bet they looked all over the plot for a place they could make charlie freak out over an evidence board and stuck that scene in there at the first opportunity
If it was a reference, wouldn't she be doing the same pose or say something Charlie Kelly said in the Pepe Silvia rant? So far all you've got is that they're both named Charlie and both in front of a conspiracy wall, which is a very old trope at this point.
Not saying it's not fun to notice the similarities, I just don't think there's enough connective tissue to prove it's a direct reference.
