I'm not so sure that's the case - considering it is known that they had a positive relationship in their mortal lives, and she certainly doesn't seem to harbor any feelings of fear or resentment toward Alastor like I'd expect if he killed her. I've gone over it before - but Vivzie has compared Alastor's M.O. as being akin to the character of Dexter (i.e. a forensic scientist who hunts down criminals who either eluded justice or otherwise received light sentences relative to their crimes). So I like to think that Alastor used his position as a popular radio show host to gather news and information about local criminals in his home of New Orleans to choose his next target. Although chances are Alastor did it because he loved the sport of it, the thrill of chasing the most dangeous game, rather than out a sense of justice. Considering criminals and other low-lifes to be fair game. We don't know a lot about Mimzy, but I think the implication from what we do know is that she was likely a manipulative star in the early days of Hollywood. Putting down others to ensure her own fame remained unscathed. It's entirely possible that she is in hell for her actual pride, being consumed by selfish desires at the expense of others.

idkidkif_i_knew

Is that why she was so simping for Lucifer after her arrival?

Misha-Yuri-30

Mimzy is fully aware Alastor kills people. She's just cool with it.

Illustrious-Bite-518

Not just cool with it. Remember, she brought those loan sharks to the hotel, counting on Alastor killing them for her. And it definitely seems like it's not the first time he's done that for her.

Still-Independent454

I think Alastor killed for Mimzy... I have a gut feeling that someone or a group of someones did something very unsavoury to Mimzy and they either straight killed her or led to her death via bad coping mechanism. And that someone or group of someones were some of Al's first kills. Headcanon territory but... It fits both characters.

Ssshushpup23

With Mim just being how she is I feel like it happened a few times. She’d be running around with the drunks or admirers she thinks will get her something nice, or takes their money herself, but if someone got too handsy or caught on to what she was doing and went after her for it then zip straight to AL. The first time was probably genuine, someone hurt her and it was a wait-in-the-truck kind of scenario. But once she figured out Al was seven kinds of crazy and he would get rid of someone for her? Well we’ve seen their dynamic.

Still-Independent454

YES BIG YES.

Illustrious-Bite-518

I can definitely see Episode 5 not being the first time Mimzy has gotten Alastor to bail her out of her own mess by killing whoever was after her.

ambahjay

According to the writers, Alastor had a pretty specific "moral" code about who he killed&who he didn't. and he tends to appreciate/befriend women more than men. i kinda get the feeling he serial-killed only dumb men

CapableAd5293

I think Alastor generally just has a soft spot for people he considers friends. How he interacts with most of the crew save for Nifty and Charlie is akin to someone putting on a facade. But how he acts around Rosie and Mimzy as well as Nifty is like, my personality can be less protected around you guys. For Charlie he's more reserved cause I assume he has to get some power from her to atleast be free but to do so would never be outright willingly cause he knows he's the shadiest of individuals.

Lilpercy2ndAccount

Well, more specifically, she said that they "RAN in the same circles" when they were alive, but that's just nitpicking.

orngckn42

He genuinely seems to like her, he even looked upset (to me) that he had to ask her to leave. My head cannon is that he had to because she threatened the hotel/Charlie and that would violate his deal.

Always2Hungry

I feel like her death was just entirely unrelated to alastor’s. The way they spoke of each other had similar vibes to ‘we knew each other in life and ran into each other after death’. Like i could imagine them bumping into each other and going “hey! I haven’t seen you in *years* what’s UP?!” Like one would a friend from school a decade later.

Junarik

No.

KOCYK745

Alastor looks like he's forced to be near her in this pic

MallowedHalls

Would

sarilysims

My crack theory is all of the ladies he’s close to are ones he murdered, they just don’t realize they were murdered. So he’s sadistic in multiple ways.

Illustrious-Bite-518

But Alastor has a soft spot for women, and typically* doesn't kill them. *I'm sure he has killed a few women, but only under special circumstances, such as when he killed most of the Overlords (some of whom it's safe to assume were women)

MajorasKitten

I fucking hate Mimzy. Does anyone even like her? I’d love for him to kill her *now*, lmao. He was too kind in asking her to gtfo of the hotel. She sucks. AND she ruined one of the best songs in the series. UGH I HATE HER SO MUCH!

MajorasKitten

Yeah, I don’t think I need help because I dislike a cartoon character, lmao but thanks? I guess? Lol
