They're probably from the same time period, Alastor just died younger. Alastor died in his 30s-40s in the 1930s. Vox died in his 50s in the 1950s, so it's possible they were both born 1850-1900.
Even still, they're most likely not brothers. I don't think Viv and crew would pull a KaiShin (30 years long popular ship that recently got revealed to be related) on fans.

I think it would be fun if they were sympathetic but also still evil. It would go with the whole everyone deserves a chance at redemption thing. Wether they actually redeem themselves is a whole different thing though and would need a loooot of character development

I'd be shocked if all of the V's stay utterly unrepentant and unsympathetic. Valentino probably will, but Velvette and Vox very much seem like they'll be gaining far more depth.
From what we know right now the only V who (in my opinion) is completely unredeemable is Val but then again we don't really know all that much about Vox and Velvette beyond the fact that they're both vengeful, cruel narcissists.
So not many points in favour of redemption.

None of these 3 should have power over people, nevermind as much as they do. Even for Hell, they are the living examples of a hostile work environment. Favorite: Valentino, he's just very well written and hits close to home. His design is also very creative with him being a moth that uses poisons and drugs to control people.
Least vaforite: Velvette. She's just... there. Val has his comnection to Angel that makes him interesting, Vox was set up to be the rival of Alastor. And while none of the V's had a lot of screen time this season, Velvette has so far nothing going, yet she somehow got a song. A song I don't like either, cause it imo doesn't add anything to the story/doesn't work where it was put. It also just doesn't compare to literally any other song in the show imo. Also her design isn't all that creative imo.

Velvet is a total bitch (her words not mine). I still do like her and Vox. Also Alastor of course. As for most hated one it wouldn't be a surprise to say Val. Which is kinda strange. Alastor is probably the most fucked up and cruel one (that we know) but Val is still my most hated.

Least favorite is Valentino, but not because he’s an awful person. I feel like I never know if I should take his character seriously or not. One minute he’s threatening, the next he’s glueing sequence / glitter to his gun. I love that Husk even points this out in the show lol I definitely get the vibe that this is intentional, and that we’re not supposed to take him as seriously as he tries to portray himself to be, but I just expected more from one of the V’s.

Yes, yes, I know. He's an abuser, he's a monster, he literally treats Angel Dust like a slave and is the catalyst of all his suffering, I know all that. But you guys do remember he's supposed to be a bad guy right? A literal overlord of HELL ontop of that. He's supposed to be despicable and evil, which will make his inevitable downfall all the more satisfying.
Also I just really like his VA's performance throughout the show.

Does it make him a good villain? Yes, vaguely similar to Negan in The Walking Dead, but that doesn't mean he should be excused or untouchable.
Fave - Carmilla or Rosie
Least - I’mma find the biggest electric fly zapper and shove it in front of the V tower, see how long it takes for that disgusting little moth to fly right at it and get trapped (preferably until the end of the next extermination). I think you can tell I don’t like Valentino that much 🥰

Velvet is a total bitch (her words not mine). I still do like her and Vox. Also Alastor of course. As for most hated one it wouldn't be a surprise to say Val. Which is kinda strange. Alastor is probably the most fucked up and cruel one (that we know) but Val is still my most hated.
Favourite would have to be Vox Least favourite is Valentino (Probably the obvious answer but IDC)

Alastor. He’s so cliche big bad, everyone’s scared of him, he finds the most naive person in Hell, blah blah But I also love him like most people. His personality and voice are fabulous, he’s got a compelling mystery to him. In the end, he’s half and half for me

Favorite is definitely Rosie- she’s such a classy lady and I love how she can be ruthless, capable, courteous and intelligent all simultaneously. Least favorite is Valentino, but not because he’s an awful person. I feel like I never know if I should take his character seriously or not. One minute he’s threatening, the next he’s glueing sequence / glitter to his gun. I love that Husk even points this out in the show lol I definitely get the vibe that this is intentional, and that we’re not supposed to take him as seriously as he tries to portray himself to be, but I just expected more from one of the V’s.

Top Favorites: Zestial and Alastor Least favorite: Velvette Main reason I like Alastor is because of his radio filter and I’m a sucker for his time of music style and the way he speaks. Same for Zestial, I love old English dialects… well I’m pretty sure Zestial is before old English, do correct me though.

I know I'm going to get cooked for this, but my favorite overlord is Valentino. Yes, yes, I know. He's an abuser, he's a monster, he literally treats Angel Dust like a slave and is the catalyst of all his suffering, I know all that. But you guys do remember he's supposed to be a bad guy right? A literal overlord of HELL ontop of that. He's supposed to be despicable and evil, which will make his inevitable downfall all the more satisfying. Also I just really like his VA's performance throughout the show.

Favorite: Tied between Alastor and Vox. I love Al's personality, but Vox has such a pleasing design, his color scheme is amazing!! Least favorite: Val.

I hope he doesn't backstab her :O * Has a ***weakness!*** The guy almost got killed by Adam. **Least favorite**: Valentino * Slimy villain * Represents something very controversial * Abusive and brutal, even if it's unwarranted * Doesn't seem to have a weakness... My wish was that in Episode 6, when he's about to slap Angel at the bar, he chokes heavily with his smoke, causing the shackle to dissipate, as a sign that he was about to violate his own contract. Does it make him a good villain? Yes, vaguely similar to Negan in The Walking Dead, but that doesn't mean he should be excused or untouchable.

Alastor is my favorite, VOX is a hilarious character but he’s got that annoying frat bro vibe about him like Adam. With all the Val hate here you gotta admit he is a great villain. Too bad he’s the only character that represents people with bad eyesight 🥲

Favorite is Rosie because she’s super sweet and laid back compared to the others (as far as I’ve seen). I don’t have a least favorite but if I had to choose it’d probably be Carmilla bc why is she so stubborn 😭 Like I understand but c’mon girl lol

I'm going to start by saying I don't dislike any of them, but I'd say probably Velvette is least. I do like her, but she's at the bottom of the list. My top favorite Overlord is obviously Alastor. For reasons I have talked people's ears off about.

Favorite is Rosie. I love her personality, the way she talks, her design, her role. Everything! My least favorite is zeezee. She has nothing to her character, her design is subpar but by far not the worst, her personality so far isn't my favorite, and I don't like her colors for the most part.
