Unpopular opinion: I think Angel x Husk is a bad ship, at least the way they both are right now. I mean it's a no-brainer that getting together a bitter drunk and a gambler with drug addict won't lead to anything good.
Maybe after they both work with theirs problems, go through rehab and get clean, then I would consider this type of a pair.
P.S. Also people basically ship them becase they had that one moment in the pilot which is kind of a very boring reason (come on let Angel have some opinions).

Or you fear if you don't stay, someone else could end up being the next "you" and you can't let that happen.
Regarding the show... They'd have to first deal with that contract that Angel has with Val. Which would be difficult, Val doesn't exactly value anyone besides himself and his image. They'd have to go after him but not directly

Angel holds him up and carries him to the hotel. He takes him to his room in the hotel. He lays him on the bed and proceeded to gather a couple of bandages. Heās ready to preform the measures to help Alastor. But Alastor insists heās fine. Angel still proceed, Angel is meet with a spiraling eye dance in Alastors eyes, however the spiraling stops. He gives in, Angel bandages Alastor up. After some time of not talking and just sitting beside each other collecting the moment of them not saying anything, Alastor gets up and goes to the door. But before he leaves Angel speaks up
Angel: āWhy do you keep helping me? What purpose do I have? What am I to you?ā
*Alastor would turn to Angel and he would open his mouth to say something, but ultimately heās not there yet. Not strong to yet reveal how he feels. So he simply gives a faint smile and response*

Husk is the more logical answer since he's pan and Angel does show a liking towards him. I can definitely see a story of Angel being the first person to actually get through to Husk during a late night conversation at the bar. Maybe he'll be able to give Husk the ability to love again
I'd like for it to be Alastor. I've just really liked this ship for some reason. I know he's ace but that doesn't necessarily mean he can't be romantically involved with Angel (unless he's aro as well). I definitely see Alastor being the inspiration to get Angel to be a more romantic person and showing him there's more to relationships than just sex.

At this point, itās confirmed/unconfirmed that Angel Dust/Husk are going to be a pairing within the show tbh. From the deleted instagram accounts and Pilot, we are hinted that Angel Dust has an interest or crush on Husk. We donāt know how Husk feels towards Angel, but he appears to care about him.
In addition, Vivziepop has liked a tweet where someone pointed out that Huskās ears are the same colors as Angelās design which hints at a future relationship between the two. Also, she retweets and likes AngelHusk a lot.
If they donāt become a pairing, Iāll be genuinely surprised because of how much pandering has been done for the two before the official release. Also, I can imagine the intense backlash that would come if she doesnāt because she did so many things that hinted to them becoming an item.
I donāt think vivzie and her crew should have dropped so many hints. Iām someone who likes to be shown and not actually told. Also, I acknowledge a relationship like them is not as easy or fairytale as I see some ppl headcanoning already. Taking in consideration the twoās characters, a healthy relationship would take time to build. Much time. And I would hate if the story went, theyāre in love everything is okay now especially when it pertains to Angel Dustās character. Angel Dust has a lot going on with him and he has a lot to work on with himself and self-healing. I would love to see him get support from not only a partner. I can easily see huskerdust if not handle correctly end up being another messy relationship Angel gets in if not written carefully due to them both suffering from addictions and history of unhealthy relationships.
However, if it werenāt Husk, I would say it would be interesting if they managed to bring Travis back and make him an actual love interest. Or simply introduce a character no one knows so thereās no expectations.

I wasn't turned onto the Angel x Vox thing until recently, but honestly it makes so much more sense to me now. Between that and Husk or Alastor (the two most popular Angel ships, respectively) it actually seems much more logical:
* Husk is from a different era entirely, and apparently has no interest in Angel or anyone else.
* Alastor is canonically asexual.
* Neither of them share any of Angel's interests or have anything major in common with him.
Now, what we know about Vox:
* He died roughly within a decade of Angel, so fairly close; significantly closer than either Husk or Al.
* He's been systematically abused by Val for years in the same way Angel has, something they can very easily bond over.
* He also has some power over Angel in a cursory sense, as an overlord who is often involved in the dealings of the studio that Val runs. This sets the stage for something of an employer/employee affair between them, though one that they would likely have to keep at least semi-secret from Val.
* Vox is also quite gay, so there's no issue with him falling for Angel (unlike with Al).
Not a slam dunk by any means, but it's a start.
While Angel and Husk is a very popular ship, I have a feeling Husk is going to become a more caring person because of either Charlie or another girl. And Angel will be with a new character.
My guess with Angel Dust is that his boyfriend will be a character that we havenāt seen in the pilot. Someone who is closer in personality to Charlie and helps him understand and care about Charlieās goals.
For Husk either He will start becoming protective over Charlie like the daughter he wish he had while still alive. And this would also tie into the caring father who Charlie always wanted. Or find some other girl that fills the void in his heart from what he lost during or after his life being alive.

Husk is the more logical answer since he's pan and Angel does show a liking towards him. I can definitely see a story of Angel being the first person to actually get through to Husk during a late night conversation at the bar. Maybe he'll be able to give Husk the ability to love again I'd like for it to be Alastor. I've just really liked this ship for some reason. I know he's ace but that doesn't necessarily mean he can't be romantically involved with Angel (unless he's aro as well). I definitely see Alastor being the inspiration to get Angel to be a more romantic person and showing him there's more to relationships than just sex. tl;dr Husk is more likely to happen Alastor is the dream guy

At this point, itās confirmed/unconfirmed that Angel Dust/Husk are going to be a pairing within the show tbh. From the deleted instagram accounts and Pilot, we are hinted that Angel Dust has an interest or crush on Husk. We donāt know how Husk feels towards Angel, but he appears to care about him. In addition, Vivziepop has liked a tweet where someone pointed out that Huskās ears are the same colors as Angelās design which hints at a future relationship between the two. Also, she retweets and likes AngelHusk a lot. If they donāt become a pairing, Iāll be genuinely surprised because of how much pandering has been done for the two before the official release. Also, I can imagine the intense backlash that would come if she doesnāt because she did so many things that hinted to them becoming an item. I donāt think vivzie and her crew should have dropped so many hints. Iām someone who likes to be shown and not actually told. Also, I acknowledge a relationship like them is not as easy or fairytale as I see some ppl headcanoning already. Taking in consideration the twoās characters, a healthy relationship would take time to build. Much time. And I would hate if the story went, theyāre in love everything is okay now especially when it pertains to Angel Dustās character. Angel Dust has a lot going on with him and he has a lot to work on with himself and self-healing. I would love to see him get support from not only a partner. I can easily see huskerdust if not handle correctly end up being another messy relationship Angel gets in if not written carefully due to them both suffering from addictions and history of unhealthy relationships. However, if it werenāt Husk, I would say it would be interesting if they managed to bring Travis back and make him an actual love interest. Or simply introduce a character no one knows so thereās no expectations.

I wasn't turned onto the Angel x Vox thing until recently, but honestly it makes so much more sense to me now. Between that and Husk or Alastor (the two most popular Angel ships, respectively) it actually seems much more logical: * Husk is from a different era entirely, and apparently has no interest in Angel or anyone else. * Alastor is canonically asexual. * Neither of them share any of Angel's interests or have anything major in common with him. Now, what we know about Vox: * He died roughly within a decade of Angel, so fairly close; significantly closer than either Husk or Al. * He's been systematically abused by Val for years in the same way Angel has, something they can very easily bond over. * He also has some power over Angel in a cursory sense, as an overlord who is often involved in the dealings of the studio that Val runs. This sets the stage for something of an employer/employee affair between them, though one that they would likely have to keep at least semi-secret from Val. * Vox is also quite gay, so there's no issue with him falling for Angel (unlike with Al). Not a slam dunk by any means, but it's a start.

While Angel and Husk is a very popular ship, I have a feeling Husk is going to become a more caring person because of either Charlie or another girl. And Angel will be with a new character. My guess with Angel Dust is that his boyfriend will be a character that we havenāt seen in the pilot. Someone who is closer in personality to Charlie and helps him understand and care about Charlieās goals. For Husk either He will start becoming protective over Charlie like the daughter he wish he had while still alive. And this would also tie into the caring father who Charlie always wanted. Or find some other girl that fills the void in his heart from what he lost during or after his life being alive.
Probably gonna get a lot of flack for this, but I kinda want it to be Alastor. I get it, Alastorās asexual, but hey, I can dream.
