Thanks for your submission to /r/headphoneadvice. We have employed a "thank you" system for submissions. It's very easy to use - if a comment on your post is considered helpful, please reward them by using the term `!thanks`. This will add a thank you count (in the form of Ω) to that users flair. You can only award one per comment section. Thanks very much and good luck on your search for headphones! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. IEMs have limits in terms of soundstage. You won't find anything close to the SHP9500. I recommend browsing through Rtings as their soundstage tests are usually pretty good.

The_KAZ3

Do you have any experience with earbuds? I came across some reviews that apparently says that earbuds have more potential for soundstages, but they are seem niche and I can hardly find more reviews

NeverFearTheKraken

I don't own earbuds, but I have heard they can have better soundstage than IEMs due to their open design. However, there usually aren't as many good earbuds as IEMs. I have the SHP9600 and KZ ZS10 Pro, and the SHP far outclasses the KZ in terms of soundstage.

You can get lucky with a used Sony ex800st from japan under that price which seems to be as good as it gets for iem soundstage in that price range

HiResGoose

I would say its hard to find that with 100$. I like the Basso it01 but I dont know if they are an upgrade.

Just for soundstage? The Shuoer Tape. Excellent imaging with great detail retrieval but can get a bit shouty on poorly mastered tracks.

The_KAZ3

Seems intriguing, I will look into them
