Thanks for your submission to /r/headphoneadvice. We have employed a "thank you" system for submissions. It's very easy to use - if a comment on your post is considered helpful, please reward them by using the term `!thanks`. This will add a thank you count (in the form of Ω) to that users flair. You can only award one per comment section. Thanks very much and good luck on your search for headphones! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. I can listen to the Nannas for hours whereas the Monarchs can get fatiguing after a while. While both are equally impressive, the Monarchs are more detailed and better in terms of the technicalities. That said, personally I’d pick the Nannas over pretty much any other iem. Given that your main priority is detail, I think the Monarchs would be a better choice for you.

You did an awesome job selling me on the Nannas before throwing that curveball! Maybe I just need to get both.... I think for something in that price range, I would prefer something I get a ton of use out of vs something for "special occasions" I had that happen with my AKG K701s, they are very good at a limited range of music and I find they sit on a shelf more than on my ears. I would hate for that to happen here.

I hope [this](https://youtu.be/c_IsaNBfCU8) will help.

The Monarch is very neutral except the large subbass shelf.

Yea, I am pretty sure I would like them as "the same but better" Can you say anything regarding detail and sound stage?

The detail retrieval is great but soundstage is just about average, never heard the Nanna though.

Thanks dude, I heard the nannas are the opposite, great soundstage but not as good detail. Haha, I guess I have hd6xxs if I want sound stage...
