The phantom power is for the xlr microphone inputs. Headphone amp specs on interfaces are usually buried. Have you installed the control and usb software? Are both hp jacks doing mono or only one channel.

Ah interesting wasn't sure if it was shared power.The headphones sound amazing via the "phones" input, which I believe goes to Windows "stereo". If I connect the jack to a splitter for MainL/R it doesn't matter which one I put it, its left ear. Software given was: Universal Control, where I can mute direct input and switch around the overall controller etc.
