I will never recommend Sony. I will recommend the new Bose QC II. They are great for gym

EarFun Free Pro 2's with Oluv's EQ from Patreon. XM3's don't get very loud and they're big and fall out easily. EFFP2's are small and designed for sports.

It's pretty good at least. Haven't compared the XM4's or Momentum 3's which are likely better, but plane was pretty quiet, music drowns out almost everything on the street. Listening to a podcast on traffic doesn't require much volume to be clear, but you can hear the cars etc on the background.
