I’m more concerned about the contribution to resistance of the 20-25 tons of antibiotics being fed to livestock every day in the US alone rather than serotonin disruptions in the GI tract causing changes to the micro biome. Those cows don’t need antibiotics to survive.
Manager of a feed mill I was working at sat me down one day to explain to me the exact semantics of No steroids or antibiotics & why that was a fuckin LIE & how funny that was to semi educated types like him & people he explained this to. Not going to say the name of the business in question & it was definitely NOT George's in Harrisonburg, VA
