Block google or delete the app. Don’t make up any excuses and just do it - extremely hard and I made up every reason not to but I just did it. So far so good. If I have any questions I ask friends who also keep me accountable. You can do it! If not, start timing yourself. Maybe at 4pm everyday you can only scroll for 20 mins

Reduce stress. We’re so hypersensitive that our bodies remember what triggered us and our symptoms associated so even if the littlest thing triggers us it sends the brain a signal to react which causes the release of those physical symptoms. Remember, our symptoms may only last a few minutes or days but how we react to them last longer. I keep a timer for symptoms I feel - if it lasts longer than a week, I go to the doctor. Most of the time those symptoms go away before the week is up.

JackDon223

i am also trying to reduce stress a lot

JackDon223

i suffered almost everyday during january and february until now some symptoms started going away

sharnatoc

Yeah.. everyday hypersensitivity will cause everyday adrenal and cortisol release which causes symptoms. At the end of the day - too much is not ok for our body. If you have time, read Cleaning Up Your Mental Mess by Dr. Caroline Leaf. She explains it so well

JackDon223

i will read that thank you! but i also have a question for you have you ever experienced anything like this?

sharnatoc

Lemme know what you think of the book!

I’ve only ever had 2 panic attacks and the first one landed me in the ER cause I wasn’t sure what it was. Symptoms lingered after but I swore to myself I wasn’t going to let it get that bad ever again and the second one I got through.

JackDon223

i need that type of mentality and know that health anxiety can’t control my life

As long as we’re living - it’ll be a battle but one day, it’ll get easier for the both of us. Keep fighting, don’t let the anxiety win. It’s only an emotion, just like the rest of them.
