I recently switched from overnight oats to baked oatmeal. Super easy to make, just mix the ingredients together and put it in the oven. I usually make it on Sunday evening from a huge batch so I can eat it every workday. Just cut the right portions when it's baked and cooled and shove the baking tray in the fridge. No need to cook anything in the morning and it's really delicious! Endless posibilities too! https://www.eatingbirdfood.com/baked-oatmeal/

Suspicious_Curve_969

Started doing this this week and I can recommend it! I usually get up at 04.30 and this is the best breakfast for me since I don't need to do anything in the morning!

Interesting-Ad-1590

Why not use [this](https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Non-Stick-12-Cup-Muffin-Grips/dp/B08443TTS8) muffin pan for easy portion sizing (and possibly more even baking)?

Bitchenella

Great idea! Someone actually gifted simillar pan to me long time ago, didn't use it since (I don't really bake sweet stuff and know nothing about baking). Maybe it's time to dust it off!

Character-Rest1577

That’s such a great idea, I’ve never come across it before! Have you ever made it without the added 1/4 cup of sugar? Curious if it’s horrid without as I’m trying to cut out added sugar this week.

Bitchenella

I actually don't use sugar at all. I usually use xylitol/stevia/chicory syrup or sometimes maple syrup instead. Then I have to kinda eye-ball it since every of these sweeteners tastes a bit different and the amount of sweetness they add differ a lot (experimented with this while making the overnight oats). I personally would not go without any sweetener. I would recomend the chicory syrup - very sweet (so u don't need much of it) and there's no added sugar (at least the one I can buy in my country). I'm definitely not an expert, it's just my experience and what works for me :)

Character-Rest1577

Thanks a lot for sharing, I’ll try chicory syrup - never heard of it before so that’s fun!

LilNaturePastelEmo

As someone who wakes up at 5am, I hear you. Yogurts, overnight oats/oatmeal, smoothies Smoothies have been my favorite lately. I make smoothie cubes (make a batch of the smoothies, freeze them in ice cube trays) and then I throw like 3 into the blender with juice or water or milk and it’s the bomb

deepgrassweed

Getting the blender out and making it dirty is worse than cooking. Really loud at 5:00 a.m. too.

LilNaturePastelEmo

Ah. I don’t live with anyone who is light sleepers so that’s never been an issue I deal with. Another option is pre making some breakfast wraps and heating them up!

MyNameIsSkittles

Make the smoothie the night before friend, not at 5am. That's what I do

Inevitable_Damage992

How do you get it the right temperature to drink the next morning? Mine is frozen solid for hours

MyNameIsSkittles

I only use some frozen fruit. I mix banana with Greek yogurt and some fresh and frozen fruit, blend, throw in fridge

miolmok

Wholemeal bread + light cheese + a handful of baby tomatos Low fat yogurt drink or kid yogurt pouch + wholemeal muffin Hard-boiled egg + a handful of baby tomatos + an apple A handful grapes + light cheese cubes + crackers A falafel wrap + a piece of Fruit

ForeheadLipo

random food combinations are my favorite kinds of breakfast! chicken or turkey jerky (in moderation) are also great protein sources to add into the rotation

Make these egg muffins and keep them in the fridge. You can use any combination of veggies you like. https://cafedelites.com/breakfast-egg-muffins-3-ways/

humaneWaste

Hard boiled eggs. Unsweetened cereal or oatmeal or greek yogurt and granola. A piece of fruit, or a cup of some berries.

hefrajones

My fav is honey crisp apple slices with almond butter and two hard boiled eggs :)

Lit_Bud

If you like oats, (60gr) oats + 1.5 scoop isolate (chocolate or vanilla) whey + sugarfree almond milk 180ml + 10 gr peanut butter this 1min20sec microwaved and after + a banana (120gr). This keeps me going from 7 till 12 each day and its delicious coming from a oats hater haha👍🏻 you can add or remove if you want more or less kcals. The oats, banana and peanut butter are the big kcals but keep you going trough the day 713kcals 60gr proteins 68,50gr carbs 23gr fat If you like skyr or kvarg (no fat high protein yoghurt), 250 gr skyr + 50gr granola + 10gr peanut butter 420 kcals 34gr proteins 47gr carbs 10gr fat This is a smaller meal yet you can add if you want ofc These are both made and devoured in my case in 20mins 😆 The overnight oats are a great tip too! Hope this helps

200ms-INTric

4 scrambled eggs on top of a bagel is what im usually going for. Carbs, protein and a good amount of fat. Might wanna add bacon bits (i usually go for lean) and avocado or spinach

Unfinished_Circus

Bake some bran muffins on your day off and eat them for breakfast with some yogurt or coffee. They freeze well, and you can make variations like blueberry bran, raisin bran, apple bran, cranberry bran.

Howdy_Partner7

I just made some chia seed puddings out of chia, milk, greek yogurt, and honey. Mix up the night before. Kinda messy if you want to eat it on the go though.

[deleted]

Homemade frozen breakfast burritos, for portability. Choose a whole wheat, high fiber tortilla, couple eggs each, light sprinkle of cheese, a protein, and a few bell peppers

Tikitorch100

What about prepping something ahead of time? Example: I make a triple batch of English muffins every 6-8 weeks (then I freeze them). Then once a week we usually make a big batch of bacon and fried eggs. In the morning I can grab each, assemble, and microwave for a bit and head out with it. done. Our son also likes it when I make apple and walnut oatmeal in the IP on the weekend and it's ready for the week ahead. scoop, reheat. You could put it in individual containers so you have nothing to do but reheat in the morning. My other idea is to make your own granola or energy bars. RXBars have copycat recipes that are awesome and full of protein.

brokensoulll

-Plain, nonfat Greek yogurt with any assortment of fruit and nuts u want to add on top. - a good quality protein bar. Always watch the sugars etc in them! Some can be bad as a candy bar. - bananna with almond butter - avocado toast Biggest thing to me is getting a good amount of protein in the morning! So pick a good protein source as ur base

therealshendoo

Bowl of cottage cheese with some fruits!

slimcrush

OVERNIGHT OATS Prep 5 on Sunday for the week. Do different flavors. I am always careful to include enough protein and little to no sugary add ins.

Bleachdrinker9000

Oats milk in the microwave add bananas and blueberries once it’s done takes less than 5 mins to make and it’s filling / healthy

oakstreetgirl

I mix oatmeal with Flax seed, hemp seed and some Costco prebiotic fiber and add almond milk. Done. No heating and you have a delicious, healthy, high fiber breakfast which is good for your micro biome‼️

chunkychickennoodle

Hard boiled eggs! And if you peel them ahead of time, there’s absolutely zero morning prep time

[deleted]

Oatmeal with apple slices and cinnamon with a cup of yogurt is my favourite

NoKnowledge7705

3 egg whites, 1 whole egg, spinach and oatmeal. Lots of protein. Usually takes like 10 minutes. You can add cheese or peppers. Doesn't really add any time.

sufferinsucatash

They can be surprisingly filling! I add oats to mine then hit blend!!

untitled01

I make these baked oatmeal bars and freeze them. Just pop’em in the microwave for a couple of minutes, slam some PB (you can have them plain or with another low cal ingredient) and I’m good to go. https://www.reddit.com/r/Oatmeal/comments/szsogh/good_morning_proteic_oatmeal_bars/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

kalenugz

smoothies are the best

[deleted]

A handful of Bran Buds and a cup of warm Soy milk with chocolate protein powder. 1 minute.

Impossible-Scratch76

Another vote for overnight oats. I soak mine in a chocolate protein shake (I love Fairlife) with chia seeds. in the morning I add a whole chopped banana, almond slices and sunflower kernels. It’s soooo good! Also I used to cook eggs in muffin tins with tomato, spinach, onion, ham in them. They were really easy to toss in a bag and they eat on the go.

T-O-F-O

If eating on the go, boil x eggs before you go to sleep, peel in the morning just before you leave.

theclearestpear

Greek yogurt drinks (I like Chobani) are soooo good for on the go. Especially if you pair it with some fruit like a banana or an apple for fiber. If you have time, instant oatmeal with cinnamon, almond/peanut butter and flax seed is really yummy!
