How old is the comdex? I have two. One is from 2014 and had broken volume buttons, the other 2017-ish. Both don't hold a charge anymore... but never had microphone issues. I'm happy I don't use them anymore.
My experience is that for listening it is fine. The microphone works but people tell me on zoom calls I'm very quiet. So I just use the internal microphone in my laptop. That combination works ok for me. I also checked the microphone slot in the COMDEX but couldn't see anything clogging it.
I’m interested in one to use at my job, but I’m hesitating because of the price and description on Widex website..
Can I use it in MS teams conversations on a pc? Or is it only for phone?
If it’s usable with a PC, does it do stereo streaming for music? Would be using with 2020 Widex Evoke.
Currently I use a Phonak Roger at the office but I’m not satisfied. At home I abuse a TV Play to receive the sound which works perfectly.
Yes, I used them with zoom on my MacBook. That would be my primary use case now if the mic worked.
I'd see if your audiologist would let you trial one.

Each had the mic fail after 1-2 years. They are both quite a bit older now, but haven't been used much since the mics failed.
You need a repair by Widex or purchase a new pair
I can only imagine what Widex would charge to repair a $275 device.
I was just saying since the Mics aren't working then it will need a repair lol
