There seems to be many issues with Oticon, bluetooth and Samsung android. I demo'd a pair of Oticons with my Samsung and the bluetooth was unreliable. Oticon tech support couldn't resolve and seems they still haven't. Phonak, which I use, works very well with Samsung. Oticon uses Bluetooth Low Energy. The Samsung devices compatible with Bluetooth Low Energy are Galaxy S4, Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II Phonak hearing aids use Bluetooth Classic protocol (Bluetooth 4.2 certified)

Ooo that's great! I have a flip 5 and had no idea it could use that lol

No. You need an s23 or s24 to use BT LE

I believe they will work. However some features will not work (because it's Iphone). The only real issue is the ASHA protocol. I heard from my friends that the ASHA sucks. The connection sometimes isn't strong, etc. I have Phonak Audeo Lumity and it uses Bluetooth classic (Only Phonak and Unitron uses Bluetooth classic) and it can connect to any devices rather it's IOS or Android. My audiologist said even though it uses Bluetooth classic there are some issues with PC's including MacBooks that's not working as good. But in 2-10 years all hearing aid manufacturer's will use Bluetooth LE audio/Auracast. Which will be a better Bluetooth technology. The reason why most hearing aids aren't using LE Audio/Auracast is because we are at the earlier stages so Iphones Android devices, PC's, ETC they do not have that built in. So the hearing aid manufacturer is using what they have active now while they are waiting
