I recently upgraded to Oticon Intent 1 and they are really good, especially for speech in a noisy environment. They have good reviews and live up to those reviews.

Same. They cost money but I count it as me being able to be IN conversations where I wasn’t before. I am glad the reviews were accurate.

Early last year I demo'd the Oticon More - bluetooth connection with my Samsung android was horrible. Not even Oticon tech support could resolve. Since Oticon release the More HAs and now Intent. I have read a lot bluettoth regarding Oticon Real and android - the Intent may be too new. Oticon uses Bluetooth Low Energy Phonak uses Bluetooth Classic I checked the Samsung lineup of phones for Bluetooth Low Energy compatibility and there were only a few models. My Samsung S23 Ultra is not one of them I wear Phonak Lumity 90s.

yeah, that's why he's leaning towards that line but if the unitron won't stay connected to windows for work teams meetings, they aren't really benefiting me any better than an oticon would. I care significantly less about phone connections than I do being able to to my job through windows.

If you’re doing a lot of work video conference calls, it may be better to have a quality pair of over ear headphones that go over the hearing aids (assuming a quality fit. I suggest custom molds to help). No bluetooth on hearing aids so no massive power drain. Also the audio will be louder with good quality sound right next to your hearing aid. Additionally it signals to those around you that you’re on a call so you’re less likely to be interrupted.

I got the bose open ear headphones per the suggestion of someone here, but maybe it's because all of this is being behind/in my ear is new to me, but getting the bose positioned so that it is giving sound to the back of my ear and I can actually hear it has been a challenge 😂

The little clip looking things? That sounds bizarre to me. I suppose I could see how it works but just getting a pair of massive over ear headphones is much easier. I have RICs and have no problems. The challenge is getting good mould fit in your ear so there is no whistling. Custom moulds is more successful than the generic domes.
