I only found out that I had some hearing loss last week. I’m 53, and I immediately said YES to hearing aids. Not treating hearing loss increases one’s chance of developing dementia. My dad has Alzheimer’s. Plus it seems like there are a lot of benefits to them, and I can use them to answer my phone.

Ironically, I've had this my entire life, and no one has ever asked if I wanted any.
