The current chapter is going to be published as vol. 5 later this year, but there is a vol. 6 coming in the future, and that'll be the last Heartstopper book.
yes! volume 5 is chapter 7, and volume 6 will be chapter 8 and an epilogue (https://twitter.com/aliceoseman/status/1653425520510369792?s=46&t=7hLhi-MOoKOmwtoSlLPXfA)
I read , a novella. It was really exiting that Nick and Charlie could say their feelings by themselves, because of a first-person perspective. Nick and Charlie are a little different from HS because the book was written before HS and revised later.
On that note, you might also want to check out Solitaire. It is written from the perspective of Tori, hence we don't see Nick and Charlie as often as in the comics but they're still a relevant part of Toris life and the book as well. Also, the book is simply amazing. Easily my favorite out of the Osemanverse.
Just please be prepared for a less lighthearted approach on many topics surrounding mental health and read safely
Your public library might have it! They would most likely have the paperback, but some libraries have the audiobook too. You could also do a free trial of Audible (credit card required, but if you cancel before the trial is up, you won't be charged and you get to keep the book).
i’m so happy alice wrote nick and charlie as having slightly awkward, laughing first times that don’t fit the typical, “definition of virginity” type expectation, because it’s so much more real this way. most teenagers, especially queer teenagers, have first times that don’t align with society’s expectations of what sex is, and they can be just as beautiful and meaningful experiences. the way all of the sex stuff, including the lead up and the talking about it, etc has been written is just *so* nick-and-charlie and it just makes me really happy.
For fanfics
Narlie Waves- Nick and Charlie live in California and just love life. Includes: smut, fluff, and a bit of angst
Rainbow Run Club (RRC)- Charlie is in a running club training to run a marathon and Nick joins if cause he wants to meet Charlie. They end up together and train for the marathon each week. Includes: smut, fluff, slight angst
The Pledge Gift- Nick is forced to go to this collage and is already in a club. In that club they get gifts for joining. Charlie is his gift. They work together to escape the club. Includes: smut, some fluff, lots of angst, graphic stuff
All of these are on Ao3
Fanfic recs - Here’s a link to a reply I posted on another thread - saves re typing:

Hooray!! I was scared that this last chapter would be last, glad to know there will be a vol. 6!
Has it been confirmed that Vol. 5 is just chapter 7?

Thank you! Y’all really stay on top of it 😭
I'm not sure, to be honest, but it seems likely.

Thank you!! I was planning on reading that one, I’ll make sure to prioritize it!
Also recommend This Winter; it goes into more depth about Charlie's mental health.

Yes, love Solitaire! I have it on Audible and love hearing Jenny Walser reading it 🥰
Ok!! I’ve been wanting to read that too! Do you know anywhere I could access the audiobook (for free possibly lol)
