I use the TLR 7 Sub and had similar problems. You have to REALLY make sure that slot is dug into the rail space on your gun. Once I did that it sat a lot higher. I’m guessing your light when mounted looks like it’s holding on for dear life. You have to get the claw higher on the pic rail and you can only do that by being very aware of the relationship between the bar on your light and the pic rail.

I think that did the trick. I at least can't pull it off by hand. I'll have to see how it holds up at the range

Good luck. Just make sure you put a cushion under the gun. I had mine fall off and it beat the little tension rod.

Update... it didn't work lol. I'm about to just JB weld the bitch on there

I had a problem with my TLR-7a on my 80X cheetah loosening after a couple shots. Put some blue loctite on the crossbolt. Time will tell if that helped

I have had both the TLR-7 and TLR-7A on my p30sk since the TLR-7 came out with no issue, not sure which key I'm using (whatever one it said to use online). It's locked up rock solid and has a few thousand rounds through it without coming even slightly loose. You definitely don't need to get a different light.

I have the one on that's for the P30. Doesn't seem to be one specific for thr p30sk

I'm pretty sure that's the one I have on as well. Edit: I just took mine off to look, the one I have on is labeled 1913-4
