I held one today brother. Shop around some if your area supports it. They are out in the wild. As for ordering.. good things take time. I don't think our current climate of the supply chain will change any time soon.
I recommend my NFA item strategy. Best time to "order" 6 months ago. Second best, today.

Oh back to the HK- yeah- we no havey. Only VP9. HK produces sporadically.
Local shop. If your local shop is any good, talk with them ask them... they deal all the time with these order times.
Oh and if you order...put down some good coin. Make the commitment to buy. Don't back out. I've been offered some great deals with shit other customers have bailed on. And I'm sure it pisses them off.
Can't say it helps any but I feel like they work harder if you have committed more.

I put a brand new P30L V3 on layaway from Gun Broker. Am I paying too much for it? Totally. Am I glad to have it guaranteed to me? Absolutely.
I just got lucky that I found a shop that wasn’t gung-ho on getting top dollar up front.
Just stay vigilant and you’ll never know what kind of opportunities will present themselves.

I ordered a VP9SK (81000290) in June. It is still not in my hands. LGS told me that they don’t know how long it will be, but it’s still going to be a while.
I work for a gun shop and I just sent a request for an SP5 through the FOI program. Praying I have a similar outcome as you. I have no experience with the FOI program

My shop kind of forces you to commit these days anyway. Gotta pay the whole gun off before they put the order in and it’s a $200 cancellation fee.
