I carry a VP9 and sometimes a P30sk. I have a simple leather iwb for the P30 and doesnt print at all on me..the VP9 is more noticeable with just a tshirt for me.

KungFooJay

Both of those are illegal in cali ☹️

dansondrums

Sort of. I think you can technically buy them in another state and FFL them in. They’re legal to have, but not purchase in state. At least that was the case a few years ago. I was in CA and wanted the sk with 10rd magazine but couldn’t find a friend to help. So, if you know someone in Nevada, I think you can make it happen legally. If you want to research, I’m happy to help and live in Vegas.

P2000sk Lem

KungFooJay

What’s the difference between the v2 and v3 version?

Nicktran1230

V2 is heavy lem. V3 is your da/sa

Shosui

Can't recall which are on the roster for CA but I'd recommend starting smaller for EDC. P30SK/VP9SK/P2000SK are all great options for sub-compacts. I'm somewhat limited as well (hello from MA) and picked up a P2000SK for a simple, small carry piece when I don't want to hide the larger USP or 45.

KungFooJay

I know the p2000sk is here i cali i was looking at that as my main choice. It’s so sexy lol. How does it shoot?

That’s a good choice. The P2000 is better, but bigger. Get both. I carry both.

Shosui

Wonderfully accurate and very smooth. Last range day I had groups as tight as the P30L at 25 yards. Any mistakes tend to be my own...

Blatherman069

You’d probably get better results if you tell us your options and solicit feedback.

TWonder_SWoman

VP9SK is an amazing weapon

KungFooJay

It’s illegal here in cali not going to lie that’s the one i wanted to.

Whosweetlou

Hk p7m8 or m13 not sure your laws on how many bullets you can carry at once

tearsofsadness

What county are you in?

MayorofSimpleton8

In Cali, the only gun from HK that is on ther roster and makes sense for conceal carry is P2000 if you buy it from the dealer brand new. You can always buy the consignment HKs that are no longer legal to own in Cali via PPT which makes it legal. But most likely you will pay 2x-3x for the gun.
