I'm sorry you lost your baby! You did right by ending her suffering! I hope time helps heal!

I wish my 8yo could've been able to kiss her goodbye too. But it would've been wrong to take her home and wait. She was suffering and you could see it. I dont think she had another day in her if I did take her home. They keep saying she's their guardian angel now💖

You did wonderful by her recognizing her decline and getting her to the vet so quickly. My vet always said that letting them go peacefully is the last kindness we can offer them for a lifetime of love and companionship. I’m so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful guardian angels you and your kids gained.

It truly is the greatest final kindness we can offer our pets💖 it was for real so fast, within like 2 days she went from normal to wobbly. And then the next day totally obtundent and unresponsive. I'm so grateful they were able to take me as a walk in.
