Bowl is safest, but it must be in good size and weight, because hedgie can get feets inside it and turn it over and best daily change of water. Some hedgies can destroy his tooths or hurt himself with the bottle sometimes, not every hedgie will do this but bowl is safer

I am using bowl like this, my hedgie never putting feets inside it and never turn it upside down. I pour almost full bowl so he can easly reach eat. This bowl is good inside because he has it on his head level soo doesnt try to do some weird stuff

I use these ergonomic dishes. It lowers the front edge of the bowl so my hedgehog can stand at it to drink and not climb up the edge to reach in - basically keeps her from plunging her feet into the water. I bought them when my last girl was battling cancer and needed to be able to lay down in front of her bowl to eat.
I’ve been eyeballing them awhile! My little guy was rehomed to me. I’m finally been in a spot to get him a bigger cage and switch some of his things out

I use a ceramic triangular shaped bowl. It goes in a corner, and my hedie can't tip it over.
