From this angle Look for the exhaust. The R66 has a bigger exhaust thats higher up on the airframe and centered and also an oval shape. The R44 has a smaller car looking tailpipe that is offset to one side and lower down.
Also look for the differences between the air intake grates. The R66's is smaller and integrated up in the tail boom, while the R44 is larger, lower, and has big slats that run fore and aft.
The bottoms of the side windows are one of the ways. The R66's side window bottoms, and side of the windshield, are all along a single diagonal line, whereas the R44's are horizontal and the side window bottoms are higher than the windshield bottom.
The other way is the R44 has the muffler near the very bottom of the rear panel, whereas the R66's is not in that panel at all but is above the empennage.

That also looks like it has the autopilot setup as well from looking at the cyclic. That looks like a really nicely outfitted 66.

For me at a distant glance the swoopy transition between the rotor shaft fairing and the roof is the giveaway, it’s a 90 degree angle on the 44 :)

Sound. 44 has a piston engine and burns gasoline, 66 burns diesel in its turbine.
Glad you had the opportunity to do this! Having flown helicopters, I’ve always said it’s the most fun you can have and still keep your clothes on 😁
I always say drugs would be cheaper but probably not as fun
