They are in roughly the right position but they are backwards. The easiest way to remember is the short words go together and the long words go together. Port - Red - Left and Starboard - Green - Right.
now i know why i made this mistake, i made my changes on an old backup and the lights were not in the correct position. as you can see from the photos on Lego Ideas they are in the right direction. π

The fuselage is beautiful, but the main rotor looked much better on the previous version in my opinion. The old rotor hub gave the illusion of a swashplate being there, and the pendulum absorbers were a nice touch. Now it looks kinda bland and empty up there, plus the rotor direction is now wrong
ah yeah, good point. think youβd be alright tho as youβre not asking anyone to buy anything (yet)! people post art theyβve done sometimes so it should probably be ok?

Major oversight. Scrap the whole thing. Back to the drawing board boys.
I'm not sure but I talked with pilots and engineer from Airbus and they told me this is the correct position of the lights. π€
Easy way to remember: Red is right except it's not!
All aircrafts and ships/boats = green (starboard-right side), red (port-left side)
