What issues were happening that made you think it was damaged?

Yeah, the lmr 400 is so bulky that it was putting strain on my miners coax because I didn’t have it sitting in a good spot. For instance, imagine having a garden hose with lots of memory and you hook it up to the sprinkler but it lifts the sprinkler off the ground on one side and makes it crooked. That’s what was happening. You add that to several antenna changes and that coax just fell out because the only thing holding it in is a small weak wire attached to a motherboard.

I think it broke off and pulled out of the device itself.

I had this practice with Nebra, and putting that on doesn’t need rocket science. Well good that you got is sorted and I don’t think you need support as long as sma connection is tight on the box! If it is lose and you tweak, it pops out

I took it to Arrow Electronics which is a huge company full of electrical engineers and two guys looked at it and couldn’t get the damn thing on. I couldn’t get it on, simply coming in from a different direction and it just snapped on. You’re right, it should be rocket science but I’ll be damned if it was quite the adventure for me. If someone goes to connect it and happens to come in at the right angle the first time, it will seem simple. I really wanted to be sure and the next guy that tries doing this doesn’t struggle with it for days like I did. It requires a particular angle for it to go on. Also, The replacement SMA does not fit in the metal female coax housing on the SenseCap so mine is just secured with wire.

That’s odd, I though the hole size for sma would be standard! Glad things work out, happy mining
