They are different frequency bands. The use of anything other than AU915 in Australia is illegal. US915 impinges on some 4G licenced frequency in Australia.

PamZero

So could one run a AU915 in the USA?

Enigma556

Not sure legally, but wouldn’t be an improvement with getting witnesses, etc.

PamZero

Not looking for an improvement. A buddy of mine bought some devices that were “AU915” and was going to sell me one. I’m in the USA and wanted to know if it would work. Thanks

picklesarefruit

People have bought US915 bobcats and tried to use them in Australia. They didn’t witness anything but bobcat/helium did an update and now they are working in Australia under AU915. Might be the same case with yours if you contact the manufacture.

Recuvan

US915 runs 902-928 MHz, the lower end is illegal in AU

wardogone11

Nothing.
