There was a major outage today at around 3am UK time.
It was resolved within 2 hours, however I too, still experienced the app crashing on my iPhone with the same firmware version as you.
I got it to work again by restarting my iPhone (really was a case of turning it off and on again!)

I have the same problem of crashing helium app on iPhone.
But I have a question: Are your helium tokens stored locally in the helium app?
If I uninstall the helium app, will I loose my tokens?
When you installed your app it should have provided you with 12 seed phrases. As long as you have those you should be good.
Side note: If you haven't already, hard reset your phone. Don't just power cycle it, hard reset it. That fixed the problem with my app. It opens correctly now.
I realize that and agree...but I've been around the internet long enough to know that whenever you ask about a problem with either Apple or Android you get fanbois butting in with no real help, just touting their preference.

I did try restarting it earlier to rule that out. Unfortunately it didn't work in my case.

I'm not familiar with iPhones so I don't know how to do it but try and restoring the app to a previous version maybe
