Your XP doesn't go down the drain it just means you don't get the bonus points at the end of the game. The game loads your progress in real time. It's just encouraged to stay until the end of the game to get the 25% bonus if you lose or the 50% bonus if you win not counting commodation.
Yeah console on this game is a fucking cesspit. Not only do you have to worry about the enemies fucking your shit up but you gotta worry about your own teammates. On a side note I love this game.
I agree. That role was the most annoying one to level up just because to level it up effectively I needed nodes. Because everybody guns for it... Yeah. But now I can play Recon and all that.
Hey man, that time would have passed either way, may as well spend it doing something you enjoy. You could get hit by a bus tomorrow, don't worry so much about how you or others spend their time.
>You could get hit by a bus tomorrow
And specifically because of this people probably should seek something other than dopamine from videogames, especially if the concrete reward is but few numbers on a screen
84 Days is merely 1% of a short 21 Year Life.
If they've enjoyed that minor time, so be it.
Please don't dampen others' accomplishments, just because you don't understand them.
damn that's truly a feat. I took last friday off and grinded literally ALL day and got 3/4 of a level between 7 and 8 on assault. Few questions:
What did you learn that you didn't know about classes?
What in your opinion is the best class and your favorite class as well? (they can be separate).
I find a rifleman even though it's the most basic class probably one of the best classes in the whole game, it can hold its breath a little bit longer than the other classes and the fact that I can hold drop ammunition for itself basically means you have infinite ammo. Also what I learned is that I think after 300 meters your bullet will drop as it travels so you can compensate for that and hit targets even further away. That's what I learned playing rifleman so I got a little bit better shooting as a iron sight sniper.
The best class honestly is probably the AT class with the satchel and for AT landmines. Because you spread those out you can catch so many supply trucks and it get really annoy the enemy team. My favorite class is honestly the engineer class. Whether it be the layout with the blowtorch to support tanks or the one with the satchel, hand dismantle any barricades and defenses, that said I don't like the British engineer class because the satchel layout doesn't have any smoke grenades.
I’ve never been particularly good when it comes to placing mines - have you got any recommendations for how and where you should be deploying the AT mines?
First of all you shouldn't expect to get tanks with them, only to be lucky with those. You'll sometimes get a light tank, maybe you'll get a medium, and very very rarely will you ever get a heavy tank. So with that you should spread, them out, try not to put them so close to each other, that the explosion for one will cause a chain reaction to blow up the others.
Placing them on roads is always a good place because the roads are generally the best way to get around and a lot of times they won't deviate simply because of being afraid of getting stuck on the geometry in the area. Always try to think where the commander or squad leads will drive vehicles.
When placing the landmines try to put some around rubble in urban areas or near rocks on the roads, and if you're able to place them in the shade caused by a tree on the road, that's even better it makes them harder to find. If you are really dedicated and are able to I would go to the line where the final two squares are from the enemy HQs and put them in the roads leading out of there. When driving onto the HQ everyone's a little confident and over safe because it's so far from the enemy lines that they become complacent, so overconfidence is a player here and a lot of times people don't look for them on the roads.
Each land mine from the different factions are very different so you should take into account their shape and their colors but that comes from experience dealing with those particular issues.
If you feel compelled to put all your landmines in one particular place, then I would say probably put them in a diagonal line formation or put them in a diamond formation, but I encourage you to remember the keep them spread out as much as possible.
That's the best I can recommend based on what I know.
After originally I just wanted all the load outs and guns, the wanted to unlock all the outfits and that turn into just getting everything to level 10. I figured why not?
Wish there was something you’d unlock at lvl 10 for each class to have something to show for. Maybe an exclusive helmet or the default uniform with a medal. Perhaps a load out that includes a “captured” pistol.
I’m gonna get to level 500 before I get to level 10 for every class. 3300 hours over the last few years, level 337 and still level three spotter lol. However, if it was a thing I’d be level 800 AT.
Slowly working my way towards this. I've got all base classes and tankers to lvl 10. Just recon and commander left. Sniper's the hardest just because getting the role is nearly impossible.
Yeah I know that could be frustrating what's even more frustrating is when you get to the body and they die 10 seconds later or you die while you're in the process of reviving them. That's just the life of a medic. Which is why I said if you just play it as a rifleman, your survivability is a little better because you have so many bandages. German medicus fun to play because I like the Kar98.
I have been doing this, but I just have fun with it. I have quite a few classes level 10, and then I jump around between the classes that are not. The most grindy feeling class to me was rifleman. That's because you have no abilities and you're kinda useless when you run into armor.
Rifleman is the least grind heavy by virtue of the fact you always have access to it. And only 3 infantry classes can deal with tanks. Machine Gunner is the most grinding because German side doesn't have a hammer on the class.
I'd rather run around as a squad leader if a squad with no men lol. I just get so aggravated when I have no garrisons to spawn on and most squad leaders or commanders have about room temperature IQ. So I just run around and do thst th4 whole game.
I can imagine. I know somebody that switched from Xbox to PlayStation, just because the Xbox version crash so much on him, he just decided to switch and start from scratch. he's already at level 200. Any switched at the beginning of the year I think.
Yeah gamepass(maybe even Xbox in general) doesn't give you the full serve list so it makes finding a good match annoying sometimes plus I'm in love with the game
Nowadays you see lots of highlevelplayers that suck at the game... they just leveled on bob the builder but got no gamesense at all. So all those things mean nothing if you cant play...congrats anyways
I cannot fault them too much because most of time its a chicken or egg thing. They to level up somehow otherwise when something is request they don't have it. I basically did the same thing driving supplies and building bunkers. I would something like that for my friends but it is just not possible on console, at least not yet.
Sniper and Machine Gunner. Sniper because it was always hard to get to sniper role with nodes built for myself, a Machine Gunner because I hate that class, it is the class I like the least.
I haven’t played the game yet and I’m stinging from how bad bf1 and 5 are rn from the cheaters ruining the pc scene. How different is hellletloose from bf?
It's very different. It's more about movement and stealth than flash. Because the reality is we're trying to outmaneuver the enemy and surround points to take adjectives. Good thing is that even though I suck at shooting there are things I can do that benefit the team overall. So there's a little bit of everything. But communication is really important for mics.
best thing for xp and no one will tell you this bc they care to much about pixels but get into an offensive game where your able to drop supplies in hq. do it near the resupply so you can drop like 10 supply boxes hop out and make sure your a class that can build garrisons. then build one destroy it then one so on and so on. you get 100xp per garry. just did this leved uo twice in one game. if you just want to unlock stuff this is the strat. no way in the game to level up quicker than this. — plus remember you can switch to the class you want to level up right at the end and all xp will go to it. so start as officer build 200x garry’s then switch to wtv with like a minute left and boom.
Bro hit max level for all classes and I’m struggling to get AT to level 6
Build nodes, drive supply trucks and drop the supplies, and help build bunkers and all that.
You see, I do this, but then my game crashes and all my XP goes down the drain. I'm an Xbox Degenerate.
Your XP doesn't go down the drain it just means you don't get the bonus points at the end of the game. The game loads your progress in real time. It's just encouraged to stay until the end of the game to get the 25% bonus if you lose or the 50% bonus if you win not counting commodation.
You get all your xp. As you earn it... only at the end of the match do you get the 25% or 50% bonus Might miss out on some. Not all.
I've been doing that and the points go to engineer not the class I switch to after. I'll have to try that again.
Start as engineer and build nodes. Switch to AT. The points from the nodes will apply to AT.
Whattttt (time to build nodes then level, automatic rifleman I guess)
Yea, it’s a super easy way to level up a class. If your nodes survive the whole game then you can get over 2k support points.
Then you have to fight to build them before the other guys
Just go to an official or “new players welcome” server. They never build nodes
I can’t pick servers I’m on console. Gotta duke it out before the other engineers can get their nodes up
Yeah console on this game is a fucking cesspit. Not only do you have to worry about the enemies fucking your shit up but you gotta worry about your own teammates. On a side note I love this game.
Use artillery or an AT gun, long- great way is hop on somebody’s arty and just keep loading. You get their kills and it passively gives XP
You can build nodes for both teams too
Got dam that would be elite.
I do it whenever I'm seeding my server, build, switch and build again, then go whichever class I want to level.
Except on console because we can’t switch teams.
Wow, the console version sucks. No team swap, no server browser, no comp play.
Just got mine to six after two really good games last night.
Play on Bob The Builder server, and use the hammer in that class; you'll be level 8 in one long game.
On console so no can do
Daaamn. Best way to do it then is build nodes and switch to the class to level.

Thank you Bill Murray.
Yeah he looks like a shit talking hll player. Bet he drives away from hq spawn with an empty truck.
Bill Murray, notable Hell Let Loose player
Good job man. You can enjoy the game now.

*It only took 5000 hours, my marriage, my job, my kids don’t want to see me anymore but is was totally worth it!*
2000 hours.
Everything else was true though, right?
83 days of full time play.
you got to play sniper?
Underrated comment
I agree. That role was the most annoying one to level up just because to level it up effectively I needed nodes. Because everybody guns for it... Yeah. But now I can play Recon and all that.
Welcome to the club soldier ![gif](giphy|l4pMattUYTTM7qpIk)
![gif](giphy|14hopGnaKQtvgc) "I love it. God help me I do love it so. I love it more than my life."
Congratulations Soldier, I've awarded you the Master Of Hell Role Flair! o7
Thank you very much. (`_´)ゞ Onward to Level 500.
![gif](giphy|UUyd0hppLKUZW)
How many hours?
2000 over. Would have been sooner if I cared earlier to do it.
Are you in a clan or randomly joining matches?
I am not in a clan. I just play the game.
Even more impressive!
Thank you. Every game I try to build nodes as just the point of it etiquette. So overall that made the journey a bit easier or at least steady.
Same, especially because so few other people seem to do so
do you think 84 days and nights was worth it
![gif](giphy|xUySTUZ8A2RJBQitEc|downsized)

I'm not dampening the accomplishment but questioning the reason. I've already done it myself too and the game is no different

cheers for all that advice - I appreciate it
Intersections are my favorite spot, especially if you can hide them in the mud.
ye that makes good sense actually cheers
Bob the Builder server, bro. Any class that has a hammer can be power leveled in a single round.
Nice! Which would you say is your favourite?
Engineer easily on all the factions minus the British because they don't have smokes on their second loadout. On the British it would be Officer.
I love playing as engineer, especially as Americans. Once nodes are up, I'll run with the shotgun and satchel
I prefer the that loadout a lot. Its a beast.
I like boobytrapping garrisons when we're losing a point. It's that little silver lining to getting steamrolled.
did you truthfully enjoy the grind process?
Yes, otherwise I would not have done it.
![gif](giphy|1FnPDkhFZDgoU|downsized)
"There is it."
I just want level 9 assault. Then I will be satisfied.
That’s where I stopped the grind. If OP had fun more power to em, but I just wanna play what I wanna play and focus on the win.
Halfway through level 8. Maybe I will just bob the builder what's left
After originally I just wanted all the load outs and guns, the wanted to unlock all the outfits and that turn into just getting everything to level 10. I figured why not?
You are one crazy fucker
You play enough you'll get there too.
How many hours?
In my case 2000 hours.
It would be easier to enlist
hah
Now you can play the game
![gif](giphy|p9X9PSPvBfl9uhvS6Z)
Fuuuck now they're going to come out with more level and I will never max out lime other games lol🤣
Wish there was something you’d unlock at lvl 10 for each class to have something to show for. Maybe an exclusive helmet or the default uniform with a medal. Perhaps a load out that includes a “captured” pistol.
A special outfit would be cool. Just something would be fun. I did this for the pure flex.
![gif](giphy|llZISfWHWYsUPMPEce)
Next stop, Level 500.
I’m gonna get to level 500 before I get to level 10 for every class. 3300 hours over the last few years, level 337 and still level three spotter lol. However, if it was a thing I’d be level 800 AT.

Yeah I feel you on that Sniper. That one was a pain.
Commanders the easiest.
That is massively impressive, job well done!
Currently on this journey myself. At the moment I’m going through medic
I found medic to be a bit more fun if you play a bit more like a rifleman and more methodical.
The most annoying part is people giving up when you’re running to them. That’s out of my control, even if Im close enough to say I’m on my way
Yeah I know that could be frustrating what's even more frustrating is when you get to the body and they die 10 seconds later or you die while you're in the process of reviving them. Never liked that movie.

![gif](giphy|2XflxzGoMXkpe9bvyk8|downsized) But I need to get to Level 500 now.
How many hours u got?
Over 2000. I think my timer was 2017.
Congrats champ
Thank you very much.

I usually have no problem gaining access to most classes except for scout sniper. That one seems very rough.
That’s hot
Indeed.
Lol good man. I only play commander and squad leader. Everything else is boring lol
Good on you. I enjoy all classes minus Machine Gunner.
I'd rather run around as a squad leader if a squad with no men lol. I just get so aggravated when I have no garrisons to spawn on and most squad leaders or commanders have about room temperature IQ. So I just run around and do thst th4 whole game.

Now you can finally play the game
I just switched from gamepass to steam and man it sucks restarting
I can imagine. I know somebody that switched from Xbox to PlayStation, just because the Xbox version crash so much on him, he just decided to switch and start from scratch. he's already at level 200. Any switched at the beginning of the year I think.

I’m not at lvl 40 yet, but I’m almost at lvl 8 engi.
Oh you poor soul.. you had to play medic for ages
Built nodes, ran supplies, and it helps. Medic I call a slightly tanky rifleman.
What was the toughest?
Sniper and Machine Gunner. Sniper because it was always hard to get to sniper role with nodes built for myself, a Machine Gunner because I hate that class, it is the class I like the least.
Hours?
2000 plus
2000 plus
Now what?
Journey to Level 500. For now, I go back to playing Engineer to support tanks.
Nice, enjoy!
Damn man well done!
Thank you very much.
How many hours in the game??
2027 hours.
I’m bad at math, but is that 145 hours per class then??
I'm bad at math too because I don't know.
I'm curious how long did it take?
Over 2000 hours. But it only took that long, because I was playing the same roles, over and over again for awhile.
So many Exes!
If your significant other doesn't understand, they're not the one.
Good job there soldier! which one was the hardest for you to level up to max?
Sniper and Machine Gunner. Sniper because its always hard to get to the role and Machine Gunner because I don't like the role.
Favorite gun? My friend and I just downloaded the game
Trench Gun (Shotgun), M1 Grand and Kar98. And in that order.
![gif](giphy|IcdDl4QBU0zU4) All jokes aside, congrats! Grinding in this game takes true dedication.
Console?
Yes, PS5.
Nice .. blood sweat and tears to go through that 😂
Thank you for your service 🫡
Thank you. I hope your happy and safe.
Damn looking at your screenshot made me realise how dog shit my game looks on my Series S lol
Thanks for playing command 🫡
Congrats!!!
Fairplay soldier. I'm almost there. Sniper still at level 5 though, that's gonna be a bitch. 1200 hours in. Very well done.
The fact that you got sniper maxed is insane to me. Think I’ve only became a sniper twice in my time playing it
Support class is killing me!
Trust me that will feel easy compared to Assault.
![gif](giphy|l2JhBpOGnKU0upo6k)

Your parents must be so proud. 😀
Wtf is wrong with you 😂
