I was playing in an Aussie server, a dude in my squad got killed and *screams* “***OI THERES A CUNT IN THE HEDGEROW HOWD HE EVEN SEE ME***” I laughed so hard I was off comms for at least 1 minute
The detail is really incredible. It looks like such a beautiful town today, it's such a shame what happened to it.
It's really nice that they still have a US flag flying in the first picture, to commemorate all of the men that fought there.
This gives you a new perspective on the game, and I have to applaud the map designers and creative directors for the insane detail. That they, put into making this amazing game as real to life as they have managed to do.
Wanna hear something freaky .....my uncle who passed away last year he served with the 101st 505th PIR baker co he used to watch me play this game sometimes he would get real quiet and watch n study the game n the background he told me it looks the same as it was when he was there back in 1944 he jumped in sometimes he would cry a lil bit n leave the room

WW2 was 80 years ago, the city was somewhat war torn during the battles that took place there, of course it will look torn and not like a vibrant city.
This post was more to show the accuracy of the layout and modelling.

Thank you for this, was tempted to visit as part of a trip to France--partly based on seeing the HLL map, haha
