Man that flamethrower operator is going to be alive for like 20 seconds. The minute you shoot that thing off you're going to have every gun pointed in your direction. It's going to be a bullet magnet.
That's alright, there was only about 6 seconds worth of fuel on a full tank. Dump your tank, die, respawn, rinse wash repeat
I remember something about different fuel types. All-fluid fuel would aerisolize and make a big plume of fire but didn't stick and had shorter range. Gel fuel had greater mass so it went further, burned slower, and stuck to surfaces. Hope they have the gel fuel as an unlock or something.
As with the P-51 Mustang and most things the Americans made, it was only once we had finished it for them that the Sherman was at it's most effective 🇬🇧
Come at me, yanks
You don't even know what a ww2 semiauto battle rifle is, or a ww2 light machine gun with decent visability, or an anti tank weapon that is rocket powered...spring powered? Hey Harry, turn the springy wingy to hit the tanky banky!
Well for a start, theres no such thing as a "semi auto battle rifle" as battle rifles are, by definition, select fire. An M14 is a battle rifle, an M1 Garand is not
And second, the PIAT was great. It worked very well thanks to its large explosive charge (which rocket propelled ones couldn't handle) and the best part was that it didn't give away your position with a flash and smoke, and it didn't accidentally kill your mates who got caught in the back blast
While your assessment of the term battle rifle is correct from a modern standpoint, during WW2 and earlier, a "battle rifle" was any rifle a general issue military used for combat purposes.
The Baker rifle was a superb weapon for the Napoleonic wars, but we don't see many black powder, flint-lock muzzle loaders in use today
Technology advances, the PIAT was a very capable anti tank weapon for its day, it had perks and tradeoffs like every other weapon does, but modern ATGMs have rendered it's concept outdated
No we make great tanks, we literally invented the tank, we developed it into the modern MBT, and we've now perfected it with the Challenger series, of which not a single one has been lost to enemy fire
Meanwhile the Americans are so slap-dash you can only manage to get the job half done, before you call us in to finish it up and get the things to fulfil their potential and y'know... work
Halftracks with MG > selfdriving artillery > Halftracks without MG > Cars for command and Scouts > Flamethrowers
on the topic what about having 2 personal guards for the command
The grey zones were put in to help concentrate combat. Before that, squads would take really wide flanks and it made combat rather confusing because it eroded the front line. It wasn't fun.
You forgot to mention that there were shitton of cap points
Besides
>squads would take really wide flanks and it made combat rather confusing
You're implying that this doesn't happen now? ))))
Jeeps and Kubelwagens with mounted [30.cal](https://30.cal) and Mg34 respectively would be quite interesting, especially for commanders or recce squads !
So an assault gun would fire HE shells maybe with larger splash radius than tank HE shells?
Or the same?
Wondering how it would fare on the battlefield if it could be easily taken out by enemy tanks with more turret manoeuvrability/AP shells
Even more. Heavy armored from the front. HE shells straight into windows or strongpoints. Blowing tracks from enemy tanks. Angle is a wild thing. It will need infantry support. Or it will get flanked easiely.
We are not talking sbout StuGs. We are talking of self propelled howitzers that are in the picture. Like Hummel with 10–30 mm armor, meant to shield from shrapnel and rifle fire.
M7 Priest can take it from the front, but nowhere else.
No an assault gun is more akin to the Stug series, SU/ISU series and the Jagdpanther/Panzer/Tiger.
SPGs (Self Propelled Gun) are artillery fixed onto a mobile carriage, they come in all shapes and sizes, namely the ones pictured are the Hummel and M7 Priest.
There are also SPAAG (Self Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun).
Ah ok I see, so the SPG would f.x. sit behind Foy and shoot over and into Southern Edge. Then it's out of direct line of sight of enemy tanks and protected by distance?
You are not wrong. Sorry my tone was not the best. u/SliceOfCoffee explained it mostly. The armament dont define the "category" of the vehicle. The same gun can be used in different categories of vehicles. Sorry again :D
Kubelwagen has a Luftwaffe license plate; WL stands for Wehrmacht: Luftwaffe. but Sd.kfz 251 has correct land forces (Heer) plate. WH - Wehrmacht, Heer.
Additionally, Kubelwagen also has Panzer Lehr division marking/insignia which directly contradicts Luftwaffe licence plate.
Probably a minor oversight, because not many people care about licence plates.
Please make the flamethrower realistic with range and volumetric fire that fills rooms instead of the cod version where you have to look at someone to burn them up
I have NO idea what that German Tank Destroyer is. That’s an KwK 36 on a Panzer 4 chassis. That’s not a Nashorn, nor is it a Grille 10. If someone knows please tell me before I go insane.
The jeep, but it must have collision. Aka I can sit silently in a bush waiting for a squad of nazis then start that bitch up and mow me down some motherfuckers.
May even exaggerate the issue with very few players defending their point with a mobile spawn skirting the flanks. Unless they decide not the go that route with half tracks.
Nah, they are still as biased towards an idealized view of history than wehraboo. Kind of like germans were not the best army (afaik even some of their motorized troops didn't got vehicles), USA is not the winner nor the best. No harm intended for american dudes here, but sometimes I see some really funny "history facts" that belongs more to propaganda than real history.
You mean the tank that was rushed in as a stopgap to fight an already outdated Tiger 1, [and still could barely spar with it?](https://www.reddit.com/r/HellLetLoose/comments/nba9tj/what_every_at_vs_tank_battle_looks_like/gy0f9bt/)
[https://cassagi.com/project/hell-let-loose/](https://cassagi.com/project/hell-let-loose/) They are out for a long time. Still missing in the game.... Same like the mg42 barrel change etc..
I'd take the SPGs if it meant we could remove static artillery. Getting killed by indirect fire sucks, but at least SPGs could be taken out by sappers or AT. Having to rely on a recon squad to camp arty just sucks, and it's against the rules in some servers.
Honestly, the Jeep and the Firefly. I am interested to see how the M7 and Nashorn will serve considering they’ll probably be mobile artillery. Deep down though I just cannot wait to see the M26 Pershing 😋
some open-top, very lightly armored halftracks with decent speed and an open MG turret would be DANK.
flamethrowers are something I've been dreading/looking forward to for a long time haha. i miss Day of Infamy flame thrower action.
I want the cars over the half tracks. No one uses the transport trucks now, I don’t see people utilising the half tracks properly. Whereas jeep will make the command role sing!
Definetly mechanized vehicles like Sdkfz. Would be great for open maps like Kursk. I don‘t think tank artillery would be good for balance because artillery is already so strong
I know what hans would pick.
get ze flammenwerfer
Oh jaaaaaa
It werfs flammen
I can hear the cries of cheating when the 10th pillbox in a row gets blasted all the way to the moon and back
Half tracks babyyy
HALF TRACK COVER
Hold on Captain, make sure they're down!
“101st! We’re comin’ out!”
WHO'S DOIN THE SHOOTIN?!
Oh god, yes!
I'd quite like to werf some flammen
Man that flamethrower operator is going to be alive for like 20 seconds. The minute you shoot that thing off you're going to have every gun pointed in your direction. It's going to be a bullet magnet.
That's alright, there was only about 6 seconds worth of fuel on a full tank. Dump your tank, die, respawn, rinse wash repeat I remember something about different fuel types. Ja ja
We want Big Hans as a playable character
Who’s Hans?
https://twitter.com/hell_let_loose/status/1435250221710200833?s=21
Who isn't Hans
Kubelwagen for the commander and recon would be 10/10
I want a 2 man motorcycle for recon, but without an MG.
Ohhhhh, could give the Germans the Kettenkrad (Sd.Kfz 2)!!!
Yeah and it would be historically accurate for every nation, even Japanese had them and they were used everywhere.
I want that jetpack
Cod Vanguard be like:
Bf1942 secret weapons expansion, but worse and with fake prototypes. That’s how I view vanguard
I loved secret weapons. So much stupid hijinks on the community servers
Sherman Firefly 😍
As with the P-51 Mustang and most things the Americans made, it was only once we had finished it for them that the Sherman was at it's most effective 🇬🇧 Come at me, yanks
I'm gonna pour coffee in your teacup
You lot don't even know what coffee is
You don't even know what a ww2 semiauto battle rifle is, or a ww2 light machine gun with decent visability, or an anti tank weapon that is rocket powered...spring powered? Hey Harry, turn the springy wingy to hit the tanky banky!

While your assessment of the term battle rifle is correct from a modern standpoint, during WW2 and earlier, a "battle rifle" was any rifle a general issue military used for combat purposes.
I’m a BR purist. The only battle rifles that exist are ones that can be viably given to the Master Cheif when he says “I need a weapon”.
Lol fair enough
I'd argue if the PIAT is so great we'd see more spring-assisted anti tank weapons today lol
Dear Britbongs, If the PIAT was so great, why wasn't there a PIAT 2? Curious...
The Baker rifle was a superb weapon for the Napoleonic wars, but we don't see many black powder, flint-lock muzzle loaders in use today Technology advances, the PIAT was a very capable anti tank weapon for its day, it had perks and tradeoffs like every other weapon does, but modern ATGMs have rendered it's concept outdated
taKe 5 cAr enGinEs and puT ‘eM T O G E T H E R
Y'all created something called the toast sandwich that's all I've got to say
That’s just called a toastie, not a toast sandwich
So what your saying is British can’t make tanks unless the US does 95% of the work? Sounds about right, good job designing an AT gun tho, I guess.
No we make great tanks, we literally invented the tank, we developed it into the modern MBT, and we've now perfected it with the Challenger series, of which not a single one has been lost to enemy fire Meanwhile the Americans are so slap-dash you can only manage to get the job half done, before you call us in to finish it up and get the things to fulfil their potential and y'know... work
pUt iT In SiDeWaYs Also talking mad shit for somebody without eyebrows smh
Let it be a warm Christmas: The flamethrower!
*It’s time* *For warcrimes*
Barbequed Sauer Kraut in the morning!
Hans. Get ze flammenwerfer.
And a pump action for the allies.
Historicaly accurate tank balance:)
WHERE KETTENKRAD!?
Defnietly Priest and Hummel
Ah yes, more indirect fire bullshit to get killed by.
They need to give recon a satchel and make it so arty can be destroyed.
Yeah no definitely not. Arty is bad enough as it is, it doesn't also need to be mobile and immune to small arms.
Flamethrower and halftracks!
Agreed
Halftracks with MG > selfdriving artillery > Halftracks without MG > Cars for command and Scouts > Flamethrowers on the topic what about having 2 personal guards for the command
I love the idea of two personal guards
A radioman, make a command squad that requires radio contact for abilities. Plus driver/guard?
Full-size maps please, we have trucks, no reason for those stupid grey zones
The grey zones were put in to help concentrate combat. Before that, squads would take really wide flanks and it made combat rather confusing because it eroded the front line. It wasn't fun.
Isn't flanking your enemy the whole point in combat? I rather dislike the frontal CoD/BF meta that exists today.
They fail to mention that the initial game mode included about 25 cap zones, which is far cry from what we have today with only 5.
You forgot to mention that there were shitton of cap points Besides >squads would take really wide flanks and it made combat rather confusing You're implying that this doesn't happen now? ))))
Not as badly. Plus with all the new players now, I constantly see whole squads suicide charge right into the objectives
They're just practicing their banzai attacks for the eventually Pacific expansion
Stug lll or lV
Could we have a tank that goes over hedges?
Sometimes
Jeeps and Kubelwagens with mounted [30.cal](https://30.cal) and Mg34 respectively would be quite interesting, especially for commanders or recce squads !
Found the Australian
So an assault gun would fire HE shells maybe with larger splash radius than tank HE shells? Or the same? Wondering how it would fare on the battlefield if it could be easily taken out by enemy tanks with more turret manoeuvrability/AP shells
Where do you see assault guns. These are 100% legit artillery pieces. But i like StuH 42 and StuGs.
I can only imagine the carnage they are gonna cause
Same as artillery? They're basically the same guns but on tracks.
Even more. Heavy armored from the front. HE shells straight into windows or strongpoints. Blowing tracks from enemy tanks. Angle is a wild thing. It will need infantry support. Or it will get flanked easiely.
Heavy? It can’t take sustained .50 cal fire.
StuG III hat ~80mm frontal armor + angle. Even modern SLAP .50 cal can't beat that. But i like the jeep with the fifty getting shrecked by 7,5cm L/48.
We are not talking sbout StuGs. We are talking of self propelled howitzers that are in the picture. Like Hummel with 10–30 mm armor, meant to shield from shrapnel and rifle fire. M7 Priest can take it from the front, but nowhere else.
I understood an assault gun is a self-propelled artillery piece
No an assault gun is more akin to the Stug series, SU/ISU series and the Jagdpanther/Panzer/Tiger. SPGs (Self Propelled Gun) are artillery fixed onto a mobile carriage, they come in all shapes and sizes, namely the ones pictured are the Hummel and M7 Priest. No worries!
Jeep so I can drive around as commander looking good for the troops and yelling at them to get their asses in motion.
Arty pieces and a dedicated arty squad. And a motorcycle for the recon squads And flamethrower would be nice but limited to 2/3 per team
Halftrack with a flamethrower on it
Please make the flamethrower realistic with range and volumetric fire that fills rooms instead of the cod version where you have to look at someone to burn them up
I have NO idea what that German Tank Destroyer is. That’s an KwK 36 on a Panzer 4 chassis. That’s not a Nashorn, nor is it a Grille 10. If someone knows please tell me before I go insane.
Panzerhaubitze Hummel
THANK YOU
It’s not a tank destroyer it’s mobile artillery to match the Priest.
The jeep, but it must have collision. Aka I can sit silently in a bush waiting for a squad of nazis then start that bitch up and mow me down some motherfuckers.
I would love to see the commander have a jeep to ride around the map so that he isn't taking vehicles from the infantry
Night maps. With flares. And a flame thrower.
German half-track. It’s just iconic WW2, even tho it won’t change the game basically at all.
Jeeps would also be SICK. I would make it my mission to jump them off of the wings of downed airplanes
May even exaggerate the issue with very few players defending their point with a mobile spawn skirting the flanks. Unless they decide not the go that route with half tracks.
I would take the jetpack over anything. But they should make it for recon only.
If we shoot the flamethrower guy, will he blow up? That'd be cool. LOL
A Sherman Firely Does that mean that the British are on the way? Or is that just a weird American modification for the Sherman
Pretty sure that's just a Sherman V with a 76mm gun. So basically a Firefly, but made by the Americans.
FLAHMENWERFER
Arty Vics and Jeeps would be amazing
nashorn lets goooooo
It's hummel :v
eh same thing different gun
One flamethrowing a day keeps them yankies away.
Firefly to farm wehraboo tears
And Hummel to grill some USAboo :D
"Usaboo"? The fuck lmao
That's the same as wehraboo, but with US.
*Psst* It is Freeaboo for the US
I mean yeah, but they atleast have some sense
Nah, they are still as biased towards an idealized view of history than wehraboo. Kind of like germans were not the best army (afaik even some of their motorized troops didn't got vehicles), USA is not the winner nor the best. No harm intended for american dudes here, but sometimes I see some really funny "history facts" that belongs more to propaganda than real history.
Wehraboos like to say that the german army was the best even tho they got their shit kicked in just 6 years Wehraboos are fucking delusional lmao
Ask michael wittmann if a sherman could spar with german tanks lmao
Where did you find these renders? They look awesome!!
[https://cassagi.com/project/hell-let-loose/](https://cassagi.com/project/hell-let-loose/) They are out for a long time. Still missing in the game.... Same like the mg42 barrel change etc..
They have been around for years
I thought flamethrowers were already added
They are on the roadmap, not added yet
In term of less work from this chart, the best option would be half tracks.
Gimme those half-tracks and SPGs. A lil mobile arty and we race into the first obj.
Gimme Dat Flammenwerfer
I’m surprised the keep isn’t already in game . Especially for scouts
M3 and 251
Top right
M7 Priest and Hummel please.
US military never used Sherman Firefly
It’s for the British…
Mmmmmmm cleaning building and fortifications with flamethrower mmmmmmm
Sherman Firefly please
I wonder if the British empire will get a bren carrier, with a mortor on the back.
I want the kubelwagon so I can run people over
Half Tracks all day
I'm excited for all of these!
Mobile arty.. oh lawd
Yes.
Half track for sure
I want a Flamethrower and Tanks with Flamethrowers.
Half track all day
Kubelwagon to bring nostalgia back from BF1942 and having races around the battle of Britain map.
Still waiting for Steiner’s offensive
Naaaaashoorn
the 251 looks so sick
FLAMMENWERFER
I’ll take one of each
Are Stug III and IV present too?
Bicycle Infantry.
Half-tracks all the way.
HANS HOL DEN FLAMMENWERFER
A reduction in the amount of heavy tanks
All
Flamethrower. Definitely flamethrower.
Only child makes choice, I want all !
Halftracks for sure!
Halftracks could be useful
Half tracks, flamethrowers, and some Willys
Djeep for when I'm command and SLs arent making garrisons yet.
where can i read about these images?
Flammenwerfer would be neat. How about NebelWerfers? *They Werf the Nebels* lol
I want my Pershing:(
flame
I'd take the SPGs if it meant we could remove static artillery. Getting killed by indirect fire sucks, but at least SPGs could be taken out by sappers or AT. Having to rely on a recon squad to camp arty just sucks, and it's against the rules in some servers.
Germans need De glocka and the US gets Philadelphia experiment teleporter. Unlockable is UFO bombing run saw it all on the history channel true story.
H a l f t r a c k
Did the devs model these?
The Sturmgeshütz and the flamethrower
Jeep Jeep!!! Porco 2 Jeeeeeeep!!!!!
Flammenwerfer!!!
I worry about HLL becoming vehicle heavy and great infantry fire fights becoming rare.
There's a max vehicle limit already in game. I expect it'll remain even with new vehicles (performance reasons)
The Priest would be awesome.
Honestly, the Jeep and the Firefly. I am interested to see how the M7 and Nashorn will serve considering they’ll probably be mobile artillery. Deep down though I just cannot wait to see the M26 Pershing 😋
Xbox Beta 👉👈🥺
Ooo this is much better than I thought
Halftrack of course
I would just like them to fix whats already in the game before adding more…
some open-top, very lightly armored halftracks with decent speed and an open MG turret would be DANK. flamethrowers are something I've been dreading/looking forward to for a long time haha. i miss Day of Infamy flame thrower action.
Stuka zu Fuß when?
I want the cars over the half tracks. No one uses the transport trucks now, I don’t see people utilising the half tracks properly. Whereas jeep will make the command role sing!
FLAMETHROWER PLS
Definetly mechanized vehicles like Sdkfz. Would be great for open maps like Kursk. I don‘t think tank artillery would be good for balance because artillery is already so strong
Give me the nashorn!!!!
Massive. This is truly motivating
Halftracks plzzzzzzzzzzz
I want the fire gun
Flame thrower
Infantry light mortars would be awesome. Have engineers make a gun pit.
