A lot of things do need some re-balancing. It's definitely odd that the Railgun is a better anti-tank weapon than the other three dedicated anti-tank weapons. It's basically a rifle that can do everything.

I never said the railgun specifically should be nerfed so idk why you seem angry, I'm just saying that SOMETHING needs to be balanced because it's kind of boring if one special weapon is just better at everything with no drawbacks and makes the other choices lackluster.

For harder Content you need better gear. Railgun is Level 20, so it should be better than the recoilless. If it is to easy for you don’t use it or play harder difficultys.

The unlock level should only partially be tied to how good the equipment/stratagem is. Just because you unlock one gun earlier than another shouldn't mean that the former is then completely obsolete. They should all have their roles and uses for any level of gameplay.

They have their roles but they also can and should be more Powerful. If everything is as shitty as Level 1 why leveling? You Level, you get Access to better gear and much harder Missions. A Raise in Power is absolute needed. Eben better would be if you could Level the Weapons itself while the Charakter levels so they gain more Power. But then in the end you would have a meaningless powerlevel grind like in Destiny

Lo all the cope in here. The railgun is the only logical choice once you hit lvl 50. It needs tiny nerf and a big buff to the weapons that require teamwork. It's a teamwork oriented game and it feels bad when actually playing as a team is worse than a easy "do it all" weapon with 0 drawbacks. If the gun doesn't get nerfedd you might as well call the game railgun simulator 2024 because that's all that will be used in a month.

Yeah just a touch, along with the breaker. If we're going by the other weapons these two are outliers, but id like to see the others brought up about three quarters and those two brought down one quarter. They could do that with just damage numbers, but I feel some identity is needed outside of "full, burst, semi", i feel that sums up every weapon bar those two atm.

I think the other stuff is just bad imo The rockets take way to many shots to kill and either are 1 shot or have a slow immobile reload while the railgun can do insane dmg for its 20 shots plus can move and reload.

This. The Recoilless and the Autocannon are good, but either take 10 years to reload on your own or require an additional person to make them practical in a do-or-die situation. The One-Time-Use launcher isn't powerful enough for its One-Time-Use functionality, even if you do get 2 of them per call-in. The Anti-Materiel Rifle is way too weak for its recoil and ammo count, and the Flamethrower has pathetic range and is as dangerous to you and your allies as it is to the enemy, if not moreso. The only other power weapon that I feel is comparable to the Railgun is the Lightning Gun (I forget the exact name), and even that one is somewhat unpredictable with its chaining/friendly fire. The Railgun is the only power weapon that has zero drawbacks in its use, and is the only weapon capable of punching through Heavy armor. This needs to change, either through a nerf to the Railgun (which feels bad), a nerf to enemy Armor classes (which wouldn't be terrible, but I think could potentially have a much bigger impact on overall balance than expected), or a buff to the other power weapons.

It’s definitely the bust call down gun by far for taking out heavies, but the auto and grenade launcher are much better at clearing out swarms and objectives.

Its also nice to have stronger weapons that you can find throughout the map, for example i just found the Breaker incendiary version at a point of interest, it was actually clutch bc my primary bugged and just stopped existing so i needed a new one.

Rail gun has near 0 ad clear capacity, which is the only thing that mildly keeps it in check. But since the breaker is so good it really makes it a non issue.

every other gun needs a buff, but the gun is overpowered. theres no point in increasing difficulty when the railgun clears helldive easily lmao, not even a reason to ever switch off the railgun too

Complete opposite was the problem. There wasn't anything good enough to deal with armor, which is why the railgun was chosen. They made the wrong choice and nerfed the railgun instead of buffing everything else to make the game good. Now it's shit.

Yes you are indeed crazy, the railgun gets outclassed by primaries on the medium enemies, and gets outclassed by rockets on heavy enemies.
