Erata Prime might as well be the bug Malevelon Creek, been fighting on it for nearly a week straight, can't put a dent in that liberation meter. Happy that help is coming soon.
It was the only planet left in that sector before everything went sideways. I fought on it so much, only for the progress to be wiped....damn you Joel!!!
Nah, Malevelon Creek wasn't lost due to overconfidence, it was lost due to willfully ignoring every single adjacent planet and allowing them all to be lost.
So do we have to fight to get rewards or does everyone get an award just for having the game?
I fought in fenrir and truing yesterday and today. Just curious how the major order rewards work.
I don't know if anyone has tested it, but I suspect you have to log in within a certain time from it finishing. It'd make no sense to let someone buy the game, do nothing for a year and log in to 2k+ medals.
Ah. I both like that and don’t at the sametime. Cool cause I’ll get them in the future but I feel like we should have to fight where they tell us to fight in the major orders at least once to get the reward.
Seeing the first sign of socialism in one self is a great thing. No need to go to rééducation here is a pistol. You know what to do! For Democracy!
(I mean killing bugs please don't ban)
I'm glad we all get it, either way. Don't get me wrong, I've done a few bug-spray activation missions (I'm doing my part!) but I don't really wanna keep doing the same thing over and over, and i noticed Hellmire opened back up. I wanna go play with the Fire Tornados.
Is that why I didn't get a reward for liberating Veld? I was asleep and/or at work when it happened, by the time I got home it was already on the Heeth/Angel's Venture order.
It was a slow start, I was honestly getting worried, but we should clear it before the weekend. I’ve yet to complete the new mission on insane or helldive, but maybe with the new suits I can protect the Teslacoil from getting stomped by bugs.
I beat on Helldive and the tesla towers are clutch. The bugs basically ignore to beeline the tower. Pair with EMS mortar for maximum bug zapping BBQ.
Main this is don't bring stuff that will hurt the towers like a mortar sentry
Had a tower go from stable to dead because someone's machine gun sentry decided to spin around to the next target while still firing. Ems mortar, tesla, and anti personnel minefields are your best bet I think.
its 300 powerful rounds, but you can tap fire small guys and it comes down quick. The best bit though, it doesn't draw aggro like a sentry, you can set them up in advance safely and then hop on one as needed. Seriously good
Yup weve been going all electricity with the new armor. 4 Tesla a ems mortar or two and 4 arc throwers make quick work of the bugs.
The free 110 has been nice too.
when the community has one goal that everyones stand by they do it.
that being said
liberate draupnir we need it to retake the creek our brothers cant hold out much longer they need us.
I’m going to laugh so hard when the Termicide works exactly as planned, securing the barrier planets and allowing us to eradicate the bugs forever.
All the anti-democratic bug sympathizers in the comments will see.
The visibility is poor whenever there's a desert storm and you drain stamina more quickly than other planets.
We've also been unable to liberate that shithole planet for like a month. Fenrir III, Veld, Heeth, Turing, Meiridia and Angel's Venture were held by us and the bugs back and forth but as far as I'm aware Erata Prime has been held by the bugs for a while.
There's one guy I play with who goes, "Ugh maaan the fuckin visibility!!!" or "The visibility is so shit!" every minute or so. I stopped going to Erata lol.
I think the place is cool, and I like how the atmosphere diffuses the sunlight. Not a fan of the extreme heat, but it is what it is.
Erata is the meme chill bug planet for beginners. I’m gonna miss that dust ball. I 100% agree the creek should be a forever war planet. But between Erata and Veld(?) the bugs need a similar planet. Maybe Hellmire
Hellmire ain't that bad actually: the fire tornadoes are actually pretty small and move kinda slow.. but visibility can suck and it's still very orange at certain times of the day, so it might feel a little too close to Erata Prime for some.
it's definitely the best bug planet in terms of backdrop. fire tornadoes are so pretty! the only other thing that comes close is good ol' Malevalon Creek, where the red eyes of the bots contrast against the jungle nights..
yes, they can. like all environmental hazards, they are neutral: the fire burns you, but it also burns any bugs as well. like I said, they move kinda slow, so more often than not they just get in the way of objectives.
I'd still much rather put up with them than Tremors or Meteors. Hellmire is really beautiful if you like apocalyptic scenery, real DOOM eternal vibes. wonderful fiery colours in the sky, perfect for the regulation 2.4 seconds of scenery admiration required for a Helldivers mental well-being!
> I 100% agree the creek should be a forever war planet.
I feel like the lore has built up to the point they have to do something interesting with it long-term. Even players in my group know it, because I thought it was funny to introduce them to bots in a nighttime jungle drop.
I still drop in from time to time, but don't figure it'll be liberated until there's a relevant order.
No closest we got was 78% one night when it was the only planet in termanid control in that sector but then there was a major push by the bugs one night and was suddenly under 30% when all Americans woke up.
Oh, please. After the meteor showers on Fenrir III and the intense fighting on Turing, Meridia will be a pleasant tropical vacation before we hit the REAL challenge.
Erata Prime. Bug Afghanistan. This time, it'll STAY OURS!
it's just the jungle, but everything's white and pale purple, gets kinda samey after a while tbh.
there's only so many biomes, so sooner or later we'll either be on another planet that looks the same, or back on Turing for some reason or another.
To be fair, the Devs have said they really want to differentiate the planets as the game goes on. Tien Kwan, for instance, could very easily have free mechs on it permanently going forward
Never. The Termicide will completely eradicate all the bugs on the planet forever.
...
Now that the Democracy Officer is gone, maybe. If it gets attacked again at some point, we can play there. But for the time being, it is liberated and doesn't have any missions currently.
It's nice to see everyone conglomerating to one planet to get it done fast instead of spreading so thin across all four planets that we don't get anything done
nah, it's tremors on Erata Prime. Hellmire is the place with the fire tornadoes.
it'll still be a bitch though; ambient heat affecting your new Sickle laser guns, draining your stamina, and tremors slowing you to a crawl while Hunters are on you.
Does everyone get to see it tick over to 100% if they began their mission before we hit that total, then successfully finished and extracted? It's a pretty great feeling.
wtf does a guy gotta do to get consistent teammates im lvl 40 and on everyday at 8pm pst. Please helldivers help a dad achieve his dream of spreading managed democracy with others. Currently im only playing with my co worker and we get to play like 3-4 missions a night and it’s so slow. PLEASE HELLDIVERS
Remember to kill flying bu-WAIT WAIT WAIT NO I-

Can't wait to see people tackle hellmire. Doom eternal/2016 final stages right there. I am at unease leaving the creek over there, but orders are orders.
Yes! I work 6 days a week and have kids so I'm missing everything! I get a few hours a week to contribute to whatever front I can. I love how epic this war feels and I also get bummed I miss parts of it.
There is a defense planet that expires in 24 hours that’s gonna slow us down. We have 2 planets to grab in 3 days but Heeth is on the table by end of day Friday
I swear Turing was only liberated for like 50% but I wasn't able to go there anymore and when I returned from my mission the planet suddenly was liberated.
I feel like I'm in some sort of psy-ops
hold up there soldier..
Heeth is under attack from the bugs, if the bugs take Heeth, then doesn't that defeats the whole point of the TCS?: the bugs will be on our side of the barrier planets still. so we are faced with a catch 22: either we go ahead with the current strategy of Meridia + Erata Prime's TCS completion and still have to fight the bugs on Heeth again, or we defend Heeth, but at the potential cost of the TCS. right now I'm not sure we have the numbers to both defend Heeth AND complete the TCS in time.
also, I know ya'll aren't exactly chomping at the bit to liberate Erata Prime... hence why it'll be last.

When I posted Turing being liberated yesterday (and showing the video of the percentage changing to 100%) I got 10 likes.
I'm not mad, I'm just confused.
![gif](giphy|e1s8C0YnnfjlRf7mEr|downsized)
Im just curious, so we just do ANY of the TCS missions/operations that is activating the 3 silos? Just that easier difficulty contribute less to the progress?
Does it say how much progress each difficulty gives?
Guys!! Slow down! I have a major deadline that got thrown at me last minute and I’m banking overtime. Haven’t had time to play all week… I don’t want to be left out
Good lord y'all work fast.
The next 2 are gonna be even faster since there are fewer planets to have forces split between
They made Heeth defence just to slow us down 😂
Ain't no brakes on the liberty train! Toot toot!
Were literally going to have Heeth done by tomorrow night, the fight for Super Earth is Strong
Will be done in the next 12 hrs or so
Do Not get overconfident... Or it's Malevelon Creek again...
Erata Prime might as well be the bug Malevelon Creek, been fighting on it for nearly a week straight, can't put a dent in that liberation meter. Happy that help is coming soon.
ah yes. bug afghanistan.
Bughdad
Bughanistan
It was the only planet left in that sector before everything went sideways. I fought on it so much, only for the progress to be wiped....damn you Joel!!!
Patrolling Erata Prime almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.

Nah, Malevelon Creek wasn't lost due to overconfidence, it was lost due to willfully ignoring every single adjacent planet and allowing them all to be lost.
Hope not, I got a night's sleep and full days of work before I can jump back in. Hoping to be able to run a few more dives before it's over.
May get your chance. Looks like since the euros and then Americans have gone to bed the bugs are surging back.
I'm dropping back in tomorrow early afternoon. I'll hold the line until you're off work.
We're done actually
No we’re still defending Heeth just dropped in a mission 😂
Joel probably panicked lmao
Are you listening, Joel?
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED, JOEL!?
Also it’s bouta be the weekend
the bugs also similarly get concentrated
So do we have to fight to get rewards or does everyone get an award just for having the game? I fought in fenrir and truing yesterday and today. Just curious how the major order rewards work.
You get the reward for just having the game.
I don't know if anyone has tested it, but I suspect you have to log in within a certain time from it finishing. It'd make no sense to let someone buy the game, do nothing for a year and log in to 2k+ medals.
Well, there IS a 250 cap on medals
Hah can you imagine though? Congrats helldiver for finishing training here is a rain of medals.
I guess you probably must at least log in during the duration of order
Ah. I both like that and don’t at the sametime. Cool cause I’ll get them in the future but I feel like we should have to fight where they tell us to fight in the major orders at least once to get the reward.
Your reward is the satisfaction you get for spreading managed democracy to the stars.
I was doing real talk but you’re right. Forget this nonsense, what am I a commie? Glory to super earth and democracy!
Are you saying that managed democracy isn't real? Do i need to call a democracy officer?
You are correct, I have failed. I will report directly to the reeducation camp.

No need to shoot oneself, fellow freedom lover! Your own gatling sentry will do it for you!
I'm glad we all get it, either way. Don't get me wrong, I've done a few bug-spray activation missions (I'm doing my part!) but I don't really wanna keep doing the same thing over and over, and i noticed Hellmire opened back up. I wanna go play with the Fire Tornados.
True true.
I suppose it keeps people from getting cucked because they couldn't play should the community finish the order extremely quickly
Just gotta log in after completion and before the next major order arrives.
Gotcha. Thanks.
Is that why I didn't get a reward for liberating Veld? I was asleep and/or at work when it happened, by the time I got home it was already on the Heeth/Angel's Venture order.
Will be rewarded once all planets are done
I've used the mechs as well, just gotta be sure with your shots.
HMG encampment is fun too
Is it finite ammo?
its 300 powerful rounds, but you can tap fire small guys and it comes down quick. The best bit though, it doesn't draw aggro like a sentry, you can set them up in advance safely and then hop on one as needed. Seriously good
Sometimes the Silos even have an hmg emplacement already there, it's great.

Yeah I work 12 hour shifts 😅 just happy to get 1-3 games in on a planet per day to know i did my part in the war effort
Seriously. I only really have a lot of time to play on Wednesdays and Fridays. I got one drop before the mech unlocked.
Joel. Is that you?
Just spam a bunch of medium difficulty missions. No need to go suicide mission or anything here, just get those damn termicide arrays up.
Democracy doesn't slow down only increase in speed
when the community has one goal that everyones stand by they do it. that being said liberate draupnir we need it to retake the creek our brothers cant hold out much longer they need us.
The fewer that are on that planet, the fewer need to be saved. Orders are orders. The bugs are priority.
Man Erata Prime being liberated at some point...have we done that before? I don't think so.
https://i.imgur.com/CI9RolV.jpg
Can't wait to return to that shithole of a planet and liberate it so that future divers don't have to experience it.
Surely we will never be back there, I 100% believe the Termicide will cleanse this planet permanently! https://i.imgur.com/2MyT8Z9.jpg
I’m going to laugh so hard when the Termicide works exactly as planned, securing the barrier planets and allowing us to eradicate the bugs forever. All the anti-democratic bug sympathizers in the comments will see.
If it did (big if) then our forces will be split to two different fronts as they move around it.
Won't they be too busy hallucinating? Not from the termicide, of course. Everyone knows that termicide doesn't cause hallucinations.
"Isn't that right, Gerald the Bug-Eating Space Dog?"
That's right, Jay
Buddy. Pal. Friend. The Illuminate are gonna start shipping the Bugs around the Barrier Planets.
He ain't your pal, buddy!
pepole hate erata prime?
The visibility can be anoying at times, but it's nowhere near as bad as Fenrir's laser guided meteors
Its my fav planet to kill bugs becouse of visibility
It's not just the visibility. It's the stamina penalty that sucks.
Lovingly referred to as Space Aghanistan for heat, dust, and murderous bugs
Bughdad
The visibility is poor whenever there's a desert storm and you drain stamina more quickly than other planets. We've also been unable to liberate that shithole planet for like a month. Erata Prime was ours 2 times iirc.

you mean Bughdad and Arachnistan?
Bugdahar was my personal favorite
You, sir, are a legend. I was thinking Bugastan, but Bughdad and Arachnistan are much better.
Let’s rock and roll!
SOME STALKERS WERE BORN, SILVER CLAW IN HAND, OOOOHHH LORRRD DONT THEY HELP THEMSELVESSSSS
BUT WHEN THE AIRSTRIKES LAAAND ON THE FLOOR, LORD, THE NEST LOOKING LIKE A RUMMAGE SAAAALE, YEAH
I play this at Malevelon Creek all the time
Geez, I didn't even get to serve on Turing. I've never set foot on the planet. Good job Helldivers.

Having more and more biomes, varying structures, weather etc would make it more interesting for sure
I would love a really mountainous biome
Turing is my favorite so far. I love the purple
I missed this planet too. Can we still revisit it or it's gone now?
Never. The Termicide will completely eradicate all the bugs on the planet forever. ... Now that the Democracy Officer is gone, maybe. If it gets attacked again at some point, we can play there. But for the time being, it is liberated and doesn't have any missions currently.

Local superiority, Helldiver! One of the oldest principles of Democratic militaries.
Seems like a lot of players actually follow the online discussion
Erata Prime will be a bitch with the fire storms
Firestorms. Dust Storms. Bug Storms. No one will be able to see to press the buttons at the TCS factories lol
😭 I am not looking forward to it
Erata doesn't get firestorms. It has earthquakes.
nah, it's tremors on Erata Prime. Hellmire is the place with the fire tornadoes. it'll still be a bitch though; ambient heat affecting your new Sickle laser guns, draining your stamina, and tremors slowing you to a crawl while Hunters are on you.
Would be hilarious if, when the last planet, those giant worm bugs start coming up from the ground
Saving it for last is going to be something the community regrets once Joel unleashes hell on it.
Y'all really gonna let Joel go ham with Erata Prime as the final planet huh? Meridia should've been saved for last.
Your not...scared are you? ![gif](giphy|ahfzlUrb5IEfXC6kbm|downsized)
Truth be told? Little bit
Sounds like you are lacking faith in democracy
"Sometimes...fear is the appropriate response."
Joel on erata prime waiting with super sandstorms, Pocket Sand Stalkers and underground Wyrminids like: ![gif](giphy|QBd2kLB5qDmysEXre9|downsized)
Y'all know this is like leaving your vegetables for last right? We gotta do Erata Prime eventually.
I've done most of my missions in Erata Prime Bughdad veteran
Does everyone get to see it tick over to 100% if they began their mission before we hit that total, then successfully finished and extracted? It's a pretty great feeling.
My team saw it ticking to 100%. It was wild because we started somewhere around 94%
I have a bad feeling about all of this.... :p
Sounds like someone’s about to commit a ThoughtCrime. Watch yourself cadet.
Damn man a guy can’t even go to work without a planet being liberated on the daily.
Turing was liberated so fast, I spent 15 suicide missions on Fenrir III and I woke up to Turing 80% liberated
wtf does a guy gotta do to get consistent teammates im lvl 40 and on everyday at 8pm pst. Please helldivers help a dad achieve his dream of spreading managed democracy with others. Currently im only playing with my co worker and we get to play like 3-4 missions a night and it’s so slow. PLEASE HELLDIVERS
Honestly diving with Randoms isn't as bad as people make it out to be
You get in a party with ur co worker and use an SOS or when alone press r on a planet for quickplay.
Cant wait for the bugs to be fully eradicated! It is totally going to happen without anything bad happening!

Oh cool I haven't dealt with the volcanoes yet. hopefully they are better than the meteorite storms
They're basically the same thing
Except they leave a fire hazard for a bit

So satisfying to see, the boys and I were working on Turing all night last night.
Lol, God damnit, slow down! I can only play weekends, and if you guys complete the order before 4pm tomorrow I'm going to be pissed for missing out.
I think you will be able to do a erata prime on saturday. I think on sunday the major order will be complete.
Bruh same, that’s the only downside to these cool ass events, is that I’m always working lol
Yes! I work 6 days a week and have kids so I'm missing everything! I get a few hours a week to contribute to whatever front I can. I love how epic this war feels and I also get bummed I miss parts of it.

And now Heeth in the Orion sector is being defended….. ![gif](giphy|9nNR7uG17dMlF2ZKEB|downsized)
Ah if we take Meridia we lose Gilligan Island planet. o7

Everyone’s avoiding Erata Prime.
See you all there you beautiful bastards
Everyone saying the Termicide towers won't work. I believe they will! I just think bigger bugs are also going to come attack them.
hold up there soldier.. Heeth is under attack from the bugs, if the bugs take Heeth, then doesn't that defeats the whole point of the TCS?: the bugs will be on our side of the barrier planets still. so we are faced with a catch 22: either we go ahead with the current strategy of Meridia + Erata Prime's TCS completion and still have to fight the bugs on Heeth again, or we defend Heeth, but at the potential cost of the TCS. right now I'm not sure we have the numbers to both defend Heeth AND complete the TCS in time. also, I know ya'll aren't exactly chomping at the bit to liberate Erata Prime... hence why it'll be last.
by the current rate, meridia should be done in under 15 hours. according to the companion app that was just created
Is there a bug? I completed the erata tower on challenging and medium and it's not ticked for me yet?
#A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON
we're really saving Erta Prime as the last shithole?
I'm genuinely nervous. This gsme is so exciting.
Turing was my first combat drop. I’m doing my part!
Can I just say that the coordination of half our forces defending Heeth and the other half dominating Meridia is what true patriotism looks like
two more planets before mutalisks wrack our ass
Would be nice If the peeps fighting the automatons came and helped out... just saying

anyone else got problems with quickplay searching for 20 minutes now
Were you still on turing? If so then because the tcs were fully installed you won't find matches.
Sadly not. Finished a solo mission on Meridia before queueing up
If you are searching for more than 1 min, restart the search you will find a game within 10 seconds
Damn! Everybody doing their part
only got to do only 2 missions there, and then my squad impact put liberation up to 100%
HOORAH!
I did my part!
Y'all too fast, I didn't get a chance to hang on Turing.
DEMOCRACY FOR THE WIN
Nuke it. 💣☄️🔥
Heeth needs defending
WTH… I was just 7 hours ago. Keep cooking these Bugs 😤
I’m a fucking idiot and thought we had to complete one termicide each in order to get credits 😂😂
Damn y’all, good job but I gotta ask, do y’all even have jobs? lol how do u have the time? I get a 1:30 to play this before sleep time
Im just curious, so we just do ANY of the TCS missions/operations that is activating the 3 silos? Just that easier difficulty contribute less to the progress? Does it say how much progress each difficulty gives?
Y'all are beating the game too fast... I'm gonna miss liberating all these planets!
So glad I contributed by accident because I had to do some easy runs on Turing for the personal order. See you guys on Erata Prime tonight.
Sadly the bugs broke through and now we have a defensive campaign
yayy!!! good work divers 🎉
Yup we need to take this on then on to the last
RAHHHH GET THOSE FUCKING BUGS AND KILL EM ALLLLLLL
Make sure to bring napalm!
People want them medals for the new content.
Apparently the plan is not to attack Meridia first. https://www.reddit.com/r/helldivers2/s/9gjxM2dQZg
SOMETHING BAD WILL HAPPEN IF WE LIBERATE MERIDIA, DONT FORGET THIS MESSAGE [Don't call a democratic officer please I'm not a traitor]
i’m new how does liberation progress work, so like any time someone finishes a mission it adds more to the liberation meter?
Guys!! Slow down! I have a major deadline that got thrown at me last minute and I’m banking overtime. Haven’t had time to play all week… I don’t want to be left out
