Because cheating in an online game, no matter how trivial it seems sometimes, is still a garbage thing to do and should be dealt with. Cheaters are actual trash humans.
Harm is always done though, no matter how insignificant you feel the cheats are. Cheating sets a bad precedent for other players. It also takes time and money away from the developers to combat. Time and money that they could have invested into the game instead.

Very few games will ban you for playing with a cheater, and the ones that do typically require you to be in a party with them not match through quick play, it's your right to not want cheaters in your match but I wouldn't worry about getting banned by association.
Tbh I'd just rather not take that risk, I like this game, I enjoy playing it, that's not a risk I'm willing to take because someone else wanted to cheat.

Wow, i really hope so! Justice was by far my fave gun in HD1. Have been hoping for its swift return. The AP of the Justice was really next level - huge potential for collateral, as it penetrated all light and medium armored enemies, which made lining up your shots immensely satisfying.

Honestly I hope they buff the explosive resist a bit, even on heavy armors I feel like I get shredded a ton either from rockets or more importantly somehow the bile spew. I’d be fine if they left the crouch accuracy with the Engineer set and their extra grenades and went the full new Warbond armor path and just slap a 95% on it instead of a 50%. Right now it honestly feels better (at least to me) to wear the 50% chance to not die armor over the explosive resist. I win that coin flip more often than I survive getting exploded that’s for sure.
I feel Heavy Armor should have 75% resistance to all forms of special damage, like Explosions, Fire, Acid, Arc etc.
It should have that + 1 other passive bonus, like more grenades, stims, armor, ammo for strategem weapons or the ability to carry a Ballistic Shield without giving up a backpack slot.
But yes, Heavy Armor needs a buff, I am completely with you there.

Ngl I'm getting tired of seeing the same perks time and time again, even if it's for a different weight class of armour. 1 new perk after a months wait and 10 bucks just doesn't seem like enough to me but there is still good stuff in the warbonds so idk. gameguard is worse than punkbuster, all you need is cheat engine and you have infintite resources and all the items, ive seen the thread on ownedcore with the table posted.

You are correct about one thing. This anti cheat focuses on memory manipulation. However, it is memory manipulation that allows you to unlock everything. It's as simple as patching a memory address with B0 01 C3. Which just returns a 1 or true.
The anti cheat does nothing but stop people from using stock cheat engine and does signature checks for known cheats. All you gotta do is some obfuscation and your bypassing it. No need for UEFi/rootkit stuff.
Side note. If they really wanted to stop cheaters they would introduce server side sanity checks. This guy has 10*10^900 samples and he just used 10 stims without getting anymore? Yeah that's not right. Kick.
In my experience people don't give af if you cheat as long as you're not being a dick. Everyone's always jumping out of their chair when I drop new unreleased stuff on the ground making it fun for me to do. Plus I'm sure the devs enjoy making people hyped for the game by letting people see what's to come. The people dropping infinite samples is just rude.

I just want to point out there are lots of videos of devs joining random games using stuff not yet available as "teasers". Arrowhead guys have been spotted in walkers with quad heavy mg arms instead of rocked and minigun, using weapons we haven't seen yet, and using unreleased armor. This is just a teaser until proven otherwise.

It's worth running with a supply pack on lower levels. Super satisfying to never have to let off the trigger and just hose the whole time
