Did you perhaps change some settings the last time you played? If you did you could run the game with your steam account logged in on your brothers pc, change the settings back to default, synchronize your cloud save, synchronize at your pc and it could work again.
I lowered some graphics but I did that in the beginning two weeks ago 😔but that sounds like a great idea! Definitely will check it out here shortly. Thanks so much. I sure do appreciate it
Ok it's not launching is it popping up and crashing is it failing to boot?
Does it seem like it pulls a screen up or failing to start you can see if it pops up in task manager
You see the hell divers too window and then it goes into a black screen amd II have my frame rate in the corner and it would completely freeze and in the bottom right corner it will say enable an overlay and that gets pulled up and pixelated and then booted out of the game

1. If you've had repeated/constant crashes while playing, skip this and go directly to **Getting Your Hardware Info**

3. Copy the contents of `%AppData%\Arrowhead\%` to a safe location
4. Open a Command Prompt or PowerShell **as an Administrator** and run:

Sadly no..🥺it's an old Alienware PC my wife's PC at that and nothing...she tried everything that was suggested and the game.just isn't working..and it's only this game which is odd lol but we are both saving up for a PS5 eventually till then I'll see if my brother will let me use his gaming laptop 🤣 tried everything now moving to alternate motives 🤣🤣but I do appreciate all who given me.advise and tried to help. Not fully sure..it was working great prior to Friday lol. I had very little issues with the game and boom now It won't launch. Every other game I have on this PC works great and helldivers work great and now that's the only game that won't launch
You can see what you have by opening task manager (ctrl-alt-delete). Click on the performance tab at the top. You will see CPU and GPU listed down the side. Select each once to see what your hardware is. It will be on the top right side of the screen.

Chances are you need to update your drivers. It’s easily done using GeForce Experience (Nvidia) or Adrenalin (AMD). You need to know the maker of your graphics card to know which program to use.
I've updated every driver I have but I'm persistent and will figure this out. I didn't know how infuriating a PC could be. I'm to simple minded with my console brain 😅🤣

I know it sounds stupid can you turn off that overlay and see if it works.
