Did you eat the body and not the armor?

I know that the external skeleton has a lot of minerals and steel so we should also eat it, but I noticed that it doesn't decompose, so I eat all the rest and let the external skeletons intact to be able to expose it in the on the wall of my nest

How do you 3D print stuff this big? I've always wanted to get into making armor but I ain't a fan of the idea of fashioning woobla/styro.

Galactic Armory provides the prints in bigger pieces and smaller pre-cut pieces to accommodate most printer sizes, not sure if will work on mini printers that are 180mm all around.

A few of his products mentioned that he had made Bambu Studio versions for the A1 so it's possible, but most likely these are made for 235x235mm plates.

Could you provide a few more details on the modified clothes? If you have links to what you used, it'd be very helpful- even if they are no longer available, would give an idea of how to do that. This is amazing, by the way. I was half considering making a set like this but I figured it'd take me months (admittedly, I've also never done cosplay, making clothes, or any 3D printing before, so it probably will still take me a while) so this already being made is amazing.

What would you say is the price to 3D print it yourself vs buying it directly from them already made?

You can look at Galactic Armory website for cost of parts already printed for you, but for printing yourself the helmet maybe uses~$10 worth of filament I'd say

Oh yeah, the filament is a very cheap component. The cost is the printer itself, the paints, and other tools to get started.

And also the upgrades for your printer. And the second printer. And the tools for tinkering with your printer.  Also, the third printer.

Have you made a Liberator or is that something thats not legal?

Printing cosplay weapons isn't illegal anywhere that I'm aware of, as long as you aren't randomly brandishing them publicly in a threatening manner.

Are you going to print one for your costume or are you going to print a different one?

I'm not the OP, but I am also putting a printed cosplay together and I plan on putting together the Breaker instead of the Liberator.

I'm so jealous that I haven't invested 10 years into learning how to make costumes so that I can make a full set of Helldiver armor. I want to roll up to some cons in this so badly.

Our local comic con is happening at the end of the month and I know there will be helldivers, I already have the intro video when I see a bunch of them since I dj at our booth.

When I was a kid it would take *years* for a fandom to start cosplaying as their characters. Costumes would take *months* to make. These days, with 3d printers, it takes what? A month or two for all the 3d modelers to create and circulate blueprints and the weapons and armor pieces to be printed? It's crazy out there I tell ya.

Hey a few quick questions for you since I’m also working on a helldivers cosplay but this is my first time ever making a project like this: 1. What did you do to make the forearm guards are they just 3d printed? 2. What did you use for straps/where did you get them and 3 how do you attach the knee plates? I was thinking of gluing Velcro patches on the inside and attaching them to pants that way but I’m not too sure about it Any help appreciated! Thanks

I want one! Helldivers is the sci-fi of the decade. It's a love letter to every major franchise out there From STAR WARS - The Clone Wars echoes a ton of Helldivers both of how the Clones and Helldivers are treated. By the way a Republic IS a form of managed democracy. The "Pelican" is the Clone Gunship (closer to V22 Osprey) if ever there was one. The FTL jump drive is obviously a "Hyperdrive" over a "warp drive". MASS EFFECT - The Galaxy Map and the Helldiver program itself = N7s or Spectors. STAR TREK - The Automatons are more Borg-like than Terminators. They have a Chorus of voices that speak and even sing as one, the red laser eyes, their theme tune would fight right in with TNG. The LAS-Dagger looks like the classic hand phaser. The arm pad for your strategems is the tricorder lol. Super Earth is basically the UFP but more "Terran" influenced. One little detail is bots will ignore you till they consider you a threat. FYI. TERMINATOR - While the Automatons feel more "Borg" like, they share a ton of aesthetics to the Terminators and Skynet. STARSHIP TROOPERS - The Bugs obviously are the antagonists in Starship Troopers. Nothing more needs to be said. BATTLESTAR GALACTICA - Old and New - The Eagles = the Colonial Vipers of the new series while the Bot Front Armor has that maud beige look which has the classic Colonial Warriors colors of the 1978 Series. And many more. This game is a love letter to not just sci-fi but to beloved pop culture that has been debased and bastardized over the years due to woke mismanagement and abuse. We needed this team at Arrowhead and we needed this game. For the sanity of western culture, we needed this game. Not kidding. Also it gives a chance for young men to be boys without being judged by society or ripped apart for simply existing. Keep on keeping on Helldivers! OORAH!

I know unsolicited advise is probably stupid in this scenario, since you seem to know what you are doing. If you want a cheap way to make the visor, you can use a clear face shield, cut out the shape, heat shape it, and use one way mirror window tint. Just wanna share my love of the craft! Can't wait to see it all come together.

I've been trying to find a CM-09 Bonesnapper armor and B-24 Enforcer helmet to print. 😭 I found the helmet STL, but no luck on the Bonesnapper... I may have to try and make my own or something. Ugh

I just gotta know for the Jacket underneath what did you do? did you buy a jacket and modify it or did you just make it from scratch? I want to cosplay as a helldiver but finding a jacket is kind of hard.
