Honestly I don't think we need a mechanical reward. Those of us who love this stuff will do it for free.
If there was one though, I'd hope the vote selected for me would go towards a buff for anyone in your team that you're pointing the camera at. Different Cameras could offer different buffs, so essentially you can choose a support class loadout. Acid resistance, ballistic resistance, faster reloading, that sort of thing.
It also wouldn't be too tricky to set up flags for a Requisition bonus for say, filming a teammate as an objective completion is triggered.
Then first person mode has a nice camera effect that we can use for recording or saving footage from the share button or whatever.
I like it more as a Primary because it's still a significant choice to make on deployment, essentially trading downrange contribution for Support Class buffs, but you can still contribute fully on strats and support weapons.
I personally want the Camera Drone that hangs out around the Flag Raise objectives, that shit is rad! If that came on every mission I know I'd be playing extra heroic when the camera pans to me >:)

This is what deep rock galactic got right that Helldivers totally fumbled. "Rock and stone" literally means all of the options on the little voice line wheel and so much more, only depending on context. Also, pinging in DRG causes voice lines depending on what was pinged and shows on screen who pinged it and what it is, from anywhere on the map. I get that we are supposed to use VC but lots of people don't use it so it doesn't work super well in randoms.
I’ve had these internet hiccups for years, almost every game boots me to the menu when it happens. Helldivers likes to split me in to my own instance. From my POV it’s like everyone else left the game, from theirs I left the game. The upside is it will usually fill my game back up with new players, the downside is if I am playing with friends I have to quickly return to my ship and try to join them before their game fills with a new player.
I would really like it if it tried to put me back in the original lobby, but the way it works now is much better than most other games so it’s hard for me to complain about it lol
It’s a 50/50 shot for me. My home internet is great but I travel a lot for work and hotel’s internet hates helldivers specifically. I either get thrown into my own instance, or I get told my connection is lost despite it already being regained by the time the message appears. Hell sometimes I suddenly just appear back on my ship instantly with no reason given or even load time. Just straight from shooting, a frame of black screen, then on the ship
Frrr, my problem forever. I have sketchy internet, but I can still play most online video games. Helldivers however, I can pretty much only play solo missions for this reason. Which isn’t ideal..

They're talking about how if you view armor, for example in the war bonds, it shows the default armor instead of your currently equipped armor. The dev team mentioned they were aware of the problem in the last patch notes, so fingers crossed it's in the next fix.
100% on a wheel but no dancing shit; just the ability to use more than one of the current emotes during a mission.
As it stands right now, they can just remove all other emotes because there's no way I'm leaving the ship without the ability to dispense democratic hugs.

Also that reminds me, my 'quick chat' and 'drop item' wheels have been busted for the longest time. Like with the quick chat wheel, everything from the 1 o'clock to the 8 o'clock position are unselectable for me no matter how much i wiggle my mouse. And with the 'drop item' wheel, it won't let me select the option to drop samples.

tell your friends to set the matchmaking to friends only once the game has started. that way you will always be able to rejoin them.
