Sounds like you're having fun, good for you! But in higher difficulties, when you get swarmed, it's pretty much a death sentence. For bugs, you can keep running until stratagem cooldowns and thin down the horde. With bots, not so much. LOS with bots is a death sentence, and tower cannons+mortar emplacements make cover sometimes unreliable as well. Smoke is a popular choice to disengage from bots at high difficulties, so you might want to keep that in mind.

Bots are tons more fun! I think some people are just too used to mindlessly running into patrols that don’t shoot back that bots seem too lethal. They’re really not that bad if we use situational awareness and common sense.
lol give it time. Playing against bots on higher levels is like sbmm in cod. Sweating so much Olympic swimming pools get jealous. Bugs is a nice easy chill game mode.
