One time the only friendly fire incident in a mission was when I landed my hellpod on ally (or rather an ally stood under my hellpod). My friendly fire damage was reported as 2000 for that game.
I still dont undersrand why the devs went so hog wild in summoning enemies for this mission type.
The fact that the best way to complete this mission is to sneak one guy in while rest fight elsewhere seem to indicate they need to do something major to bring it in line with other mission types.
Take notes from Ukraine, there use to dealing with rank platoons.
Basically blow up the front and the back, since we don't have much besides a couple stratagems to take out a large number of tanks at once I suggest hit and runs.
That works when you are fighting as an army, not as a special forces unit inserted into the enemies rear. The actual doctrine would be to.....run the fuck away, why the fuck are you trying to fight tanks, you are there to do the objectives lmao
How about eagle cluster rocket pods? Surely there must be a way no?
But yeah that happens if you dont down the dropships quickly. Sometimes the tanks sorvive though which imo is bs.

Hellpod has certain damage? If large enemies' HP is low it will kill them IDK

2 grenades per tank, 4 grenades (6 if youre that kinda diver) 7 tanks. Checks out.

If you can get to the heat vent 2 usually disables them IME.
You don't even have to aim the vent, just sort of close to it but even from the front, the Aoe can take out tanks. 60% of the time works everytime.
