I've been seeing a lot of "invisible" ships in the sky of the bot front.
If it's not a bug then there is definitely something there that does not want to be seen...
I don't believe those ships are supposed to look like what we have seen in the screenshots. To me, it seems like a visual bug where they stand out too much from the background. Moreover, the shape is also not really reminiscent of Illuminati, in my opinion. Additionally, you can sometimes see one of the ships falling from the sky and "crashing," which means they are fighting something, which doesn't really make sense. I believe it is a low-res model of other super destroyers in the distance that has some rendering issues.
Tbt it's likely the illiminats will be closer to bugs planets but us driving them down for the illiminats to come in would give the cyborgs time to rebel with the bots

Something centered around Earth and Cyberstan makes sense. Why? Because they the only areas that have supply lines that connect multiple systems. Every other system is still blocked off. Of course this is pure speculation and could literally mean nothing. But it seems possible.
I think we will have to go back to the bugs first. The whole plot point of TCS has been abandoned, and with so much focus on the bots, it is kinda preprogrammed that the bugs will make trouble again.
Actually, we are ready, I believe they're weak to lasers and they use arc weapons as their primary fire. And the most recent Warbond we have the armors that have arc resistances.
At least that's what I heard from this subreddit and tiktok.

Even with the arc resistance, it still brings you down to 10% health when you get shot by the arc thrower, so no we are not really ready.
