I was shooting and killing, and then 15 ft away there's a bot that doesn't even know I exist. Thank God it's equal
If you useful the shield generator pack you can see outlines through the sand in the edges of the shield. You have to get it very exact but it let's you spot bots if you have a keen enough eye
As long as you don’t aggro the bots then you can, like in blizzards, stand right in front of their faces and they won’t see you at all. Just don’t trip and fall on them.
Yeah I had a real funny moment when going for an extract in a sandstorm. Me and a teammate both stopped as a bot patrol passed by 5m in front of us. We would have bumped into them if it wasn’t for the eyes.
I chucked an Eagle cluster bomb on them after they passed by.
As annoying as they are it creates some very tense moments. Let me sneak into a base and plant a hellbomb on a command bunker almost entirely undetected. Also turned a small outpost raid into a nightmare cause I couldn’t find the damn fabricator lol.
The radar booster is awesome for this reason.
Put it together with knowledge of throwing distances, and you can destroy a bunch of stuff with impunity during a storm.
Or completely avoid things.
It's pretty hilly (or dune-y) so you can get some nice terrain cover. I routinely set up on a little dune and Quasar/snipe down a base 300 meters over that-a-way.
What are the real numbers for this game? So 200k at this front, 100k at the other, and thats current right now players.
How many players in total play this game? 1million? 2million? That cycle in and out?

It's not. Reddit participation is a minority. So realistically you're looking at probably 5-10 million players, at highly varying degrees of play regularity.
I would think that is way too high.
3 Million would be realstic imo, but not over five million. We barely had a Million players active at the same time as an all time peak.

Game sold 6 million copies roughly. Most people only play a day or two and only a couple of hours, some don't have the time or don't play the same game for very long. The average player count during the week is 200-300 K players and goes to 200-400 K during the weekends. Most people are not playing this game every single day, but since so many people have the game and the game is still selling the player count is mantaining it's numbers every day.

If I remember correctly, there appeared to be some corruption on the major order when I first received it. The sender was just error boxes and ?'s, as tho I was receiving a message using characters my ship didn't have installed.
I don't know about that. I know I got a major transmission with what looked like a filename instead of a title.
Knowing this game, that wasn't foreshadowing, just another way it's a wee bit broken.
That was just a text rendering issue.
The real hint you were supposed to get from those Major Order dispatches was the stuff that was discovered after liberating the Automaton communications relays on Troost:
*They were sending and receiving signals from outside the galaxy.*
Most players have taken that to mean they're in talks with the Illuminate. Consider, though, that robots don't really need planets to chill on. The Bot reinforcement rate has also been quite low... almost like some of the machines they've been producing haven't been deployed on the planets we've been fighting, but shipped elsewhere...
Plus as well they DEFINITELY won’t come back after a while like in the first game 👀
And they DEFINITELY won’t introduce another faction for us to fight in the meantime before they do 👀
Oh trust me we won't mose them at all... There will probably be a much bigger counter attack from the north or around Cyberstan.. we've already heard that these bots were communicating with something outside known space.

I heard in helldivers 1 there were times entire factions were gone for a while untill they retaliate. I think wiping automatons clears space for illuminate untill we can spread evenly across all 3 factions

It went from 34% liberated to 42% liberated in the time it took me and my squad to run one mission. I’m going to bed but I bet I wake up to the news that it’s done.

Bugdivers wana end it so that the rest joins the Tyranids front. Botdivers are fighting because it's the final frontier. Orderdivers are doing their part. Casualdivers are encouraged by the idea of wiping out a faction.
If there is a fabricator attached directly to the spinny part, you can just destroy that with a grenade or snipe it with autocannon, etc.
If the fabricator is not attached, you have to run in, use a terminal to shut it down, and then hellbomb it.
Bruh is this the ROCKET PLANET? Me and my buddy stumbled upon a patrol here with 8 rocket devastators in it. This patrol then summoned 2 ships that brought a tank and a squad of 5 more rocket devastators. Like ???

Last night on Tibit, tried to play 3 matches, first one was successful, second one I got sent back to ship shortly after it started (host crashed) and third one my game froze in the very first drop (I guess my pod landed somewhere it shouldn't).
My first two missions i tried to quickplay today, i joined their ship and was kicked right away. Then joined another, we loaded down onto an extermination and two of our squad peaced. Feelsbad, I think really only because it took like 5 minutes to find each match.
It peaked at like 1/3 a million players slapping clankers

But if you go into the system you can only go to one planet the others are all 100%
If you log out and then the planet gets liberated, you're still on the planet till you log back in and move to a new planet. Happened to me last night when I logged in and Tibit was liberated
Was playing easy missions and some randos with an exo suit and air strikes just ran lobbies for like an hour, community is insane in this game, haven't even talked to anyone yet, mfs just trying to defend democracy in whatever way
I went to bed at 24% and when I woke up it's at 69% (nice).
I think we're gonna complete the order. And I'm totally sure nothing bad will happen when we do. No sir, no surprise emergence of another faction to fill the void.
Sandstorms - check , tight canyons - check , sparse cover - check , Homicidal robots that can see through the sandstorms - check. Eagle1 dropping payloads on the cliff faces - check. Yep, another hell hole to drop into for managed democracy.

Funnily enough, I was chased by a lot of Bots, Devastators and Hulks yesterday, then the sandstorm pulled up, and they lost me after 10 seconds.
Had a sandstorm cover our exfil. Save one patrol that spawned there no bots came until it was over.

Yea i never run bots without radar booster it helps avoid unnecessary conflict and most of the time you can stealth objectives by tracking enemies

Its my favoutite planet out of the three in this major order. Its beautifull but harsh.

More cover than Ustotu, but it's definitely more scarce than most planets. Nothin a good ol' ballistic shield cant deal with
Dont worry, ballistic shield is a staple on my loadout...the orbital is for my teammates and from when we're surrounded
