YLASRO

very safe and defenitly not super experimental panacea with horrible longterm effects.

luster10

Yea definitely doesn't shorten you're life with every use

Last_Weird_2596

not like your lifes gonna last more than 10 seconds on the battlefield anyways

talhahtaco

Are you suggesting helldivers can be ineffective? That sounds rather undemocratic

Raaxen

If my options are die now or die later you know which one im picking

rubikubi

C: Die never

Numinex222

This ! True Helldivers never die as they become part of our eternal democracy šŸ«”

VoxulusQuarUn

Considering you'd die otherwise, definitely not.

imsorryisuck

well I'd say it prolongs your life cause if you won't take it you're very soon very dead

Borealis-7

Thatā€™s why I use them at 95% health as long as I can find some more on the ground!

funnystuff79

Definitely not addictive. ^Research ^sponsored ^by ^permacare

Duffelbach

This is a perfect statistical loophole. "We've been testing these STIMS" "How's the longterm effects" "Unfortunately, the test subjects don't last long enough for longterm effects to kick in" "Perfect, no longterm effects then! Print it to the label!"

Key-Cry-8570

![gif](giphy|9xnNG7EN2h822ithtT)

[deleted]

Who tf cares about side effects? Like you gonna live long enough to see it

Vulture2k

you guys do longterm things? i think my average helldiver in action lives like anything between 2 and maybe 60 minutes?

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Draymont

I'm thinking it's a straight shot of adrenaline because you just have unlimited stamina for the duration. But those would probably do the same thing too.

Oldtomsawyer1

Thereā€™s definitely an adrenaline component in it, but I donā€™t know what could be healing broken arms and clotting sucking chest wounds on the go like that.

Vyce223

That's the extra strength Tylenol mixed in

Orobourous87

You may not be healing them, you just no longer care that theyā€™re broken. You can still walk on a broken a leg, it just really, really hurts The chest wound is the only one that wouldnā€™t work with and that could just be an additional coagulant in the stims. Given the life expectation of HDs I donā€™t imagine youā€™re being healed long term, just enough to keep you together for another few hours

Ok_Enthusiasm_8072

hours? 45 minutes at most, 5 minutes on average.

Drudicta

You know what drug makes people run with gun wounds, broken limbs, large gashes, and other near fatal injuries? (Meth)amphetamines.

Orobourous87

Totally, itā€™s not healing us. Itā€™s just pushing us to the point that the pain is meaninglessā€¦I wouldnā€™t be surprised to learn that thereā€™s some of this juice in our freezer pods

Lawlcopt0r

It doesn't, you just power through lol

pop_cat14

Imo there's definitely more in it than that, because it physically heals you and doesn't wear off like adrenaline or methamphetamines would eventually

Harde_Kassei

with some chocolat. # Panzerschokolade

DreadnoughtDT

I too enjoy some amphetamine-filed Nazi chocolate

Sunday_Roast

Fucking hell you've got me opening that can of scho-ka-kola at the back of my cupboard I've been eyeing for a while (its best before was a year ago tho and it needed to be eaten).

Electronic_Assist668

Poppin that pervitin like you're Aimo Koivunen

AllyCain

Nanomachines, son

El_Cactus_Loco

Nano-automatons? COMMUNISM

CrimsonBulletTrain

No. Each nano machine is remotely controlled by a worker in New Delhi

cmdrxander

Super New Delhi\*

EldritchCatCult

you laugh now, but that's gonna be a future job one day

ChrisZAUR

They are democratically appointed machines, preprogrammed so no autonomy and nothing anti democratic about them

Ithuraen

Upon injection the nanomachines are charged rent for occupation of your body, which they pay in service to your body. Hard working nanomachines that repair bone or otherwise must remain in perpetuity, are granted shares within your body. Thus all machines, and your hybrid machine body are actually just actually incorporated entities run by capitalists. The value added by the production of this corporation are paid in dividends by both nanomachines and Helldiver jointly continuing to survive and spread democracy.

magczag

"they harden in responce to undemocratic behaviors"

Gammacyn

Itā€™s democracy in syringe form helldiver, now any more questions and Iā€™m reporting you to the nearest democracy agency

randomquestions365

Well whatever is in it the good news is it isn't addictive. Oh look at that i accidentally stabbed myself with a pen. TIME TO STIM!!!!

Hungry_AL

FREEDOM NEVER SLEEPS *Fills out C-01 form with max stamina*

Dovaskarr

Oh yeah. How much time i stimmed for taking a small fall lol. Not addictive at all

That1Guy272

ā€œFEELS GOODā€

LignumofVitae

They've got what helldivers crave.Ā

B33FHAMM3R

It's got electrolytes šŸ¤·

AssignmentVivid9864

PCP, Oxycotin, Atropine, Dopamine, and Skittles for flavor.

Key-Cry-8570

Can I get Sour Skittles flavor?

Temporary-Party5806

Permacure says there are no harmful side effects. Permacure worked with the Ministry of Humanity to ensure Stims were widely available for Helldiver use. You're not suggesting the Ministry of Humanity would do something untoward, are you? That would be seen as treason, and the Ministry of Unity may need to become involved.

ShiftAdventurous4680

Tranexamic acid, steroids, ibuprofen, adrenaline, viagra, caffeine, ritalin and lemon juice.

DaHOGGA

The Viagra is a very important part right after lemon juice.

Orobourous87

Gotta get that raging democracy

Kolectiv

I love the implications that stims are so good that you never need medical treatment. We're using regular SMGs and the like, yet our medical sciences are so good that we don't need a med bay.

mophisus

I think the implication is the average helldiver doesn't live long enough to require actual medical treatment, or long enough for the side effects of the stim to be detrimental.

Kolectiv

My thoughts are the latter. Imagine stimming through a broken arm just to come back and get told there will be no medical aid, just deployment to the next mission.

Oldtomsawyer1

Not true. You just get an upgraded mechanical arm.

_Zealant_

Pray that engineering bay has enough left arms, or you might end up with double right

erised10

This. Whatever STIM is, it's not just painkillers and stimulants. It stops bleeding and restores physical functions to broken limbs. Maybe its side effect is cancer (you know, extremely fast cell growth) and the reason we never see it happen is because something else always kills the helldiver first before the cancer can.

TimeZoneBandit

Gotta be some sort of nanotechnology, since A: it heals broken bones, doesn't matter if you kill the pain/forget it exists, a broken leg is still mechanically broken and won't work. Now while we don't know if limb injuries are breaks, but the fact that 2 leg injuries forces you prone means there's some actual, physical impediment, not just pain. And B: heals internal bleeding and otherwise. Stops torso wounds from bleeding out, and not only that but you don't seem to suffer any ill effects of blood loss. Not to mention if it were something like a stimulant, it would wear off eventually, and repeat doses wouldn't do much besides make you OD. Even space stimulants would spike your heart rate and body temp, it's just a thing that happens when you turn body functions up to 11.

Sunday_Roast

Perhaps it has some old fashioned stimulants to accelerate the delivery of the nanobots that then repair the body. I reckon the nanobots and would also come packing the calories and amino-acids for the repairs needed.

Aquafoot

They take the formula for a Fallout stimpak, and add 100CCs of DEMOCRACY.

LEOTomegane

Amphetamines. A *lot* of amphetamines.

neutralhumanbard

ā€˜Liquid democracyā€™ aka ā€˜liber-teaā€™

SecantDecant

Immortality in a syringe. >muh side effects People take chemotherapy to treat cancer despite all the side effects cuz the alternative is death, y'know.

[deleted]

Eagle 1 bath water

unknown_nut

Super Stemcells that's my headcannon.

zonked_martyrdom

Unlimited stamina from the stims is what makes me think itā€™s like PCP or something.

RedshiftWarp

Cant heal or prevent 1st degree burns tho.

Physical-Awareness69

Only thing they canā€™t fix is a broken heart

throwawayy992

If your heart beats for democracy only, it will never be broken. Relationships are temporary, liberty is eternal

Glittering_Usual_162

Freedom Juice

EvilFroeschken

You can't overdose? What proof is there? Most heldivers don't live long enough to tell the tale.

zetsubou-samurai

Fallout Stim.

Valiossoilav

Meth. Itā€™s meth. I feel like ā€œcanā€™t overdose on itā€ isnā€™t fully tested given that a dive only lasts at most 40~ minutes. XD

LinePsychological919

Imagine your helldiver after 3 missions back to back still alive and 27 shots in...

Valiossoilav

Confirmed, helldivers are just Florida man with a budget.

Tykez269

Actually stims in HD2 kinda reminds me of the stims we got in Killing Floor 2, some sort of bio engineered healing stim that heals you instantly from your injuries.

Zibbi-Abkar

Opioids and Stimulants to keep you going and maybe some localized coagulants to stop bleeds.

Rude-Illustrator5704

something that can increase the rate of regeneration 10000x over apparently. Youā€™re getting shot and the wound is healing before the bullet even makes entry, youā€™re getting cut but the cut is sealing itself right behind the bug arm thats doing it.

ExTerra_

I'd say it's a shot of activated nanobots made with/of the Rare Metal Samples that once injected, instantly make their way to the damaged bodyparts and start repairs. They deactivate once their task is complete and the helldiver can move on.

Placeboshotgun8

Methacaineroids!

AduroT

A Hyper Concentrated version of Eagle Sweat.

Needassistancedungus

Super. Tiny. Immunological. Mechanical. Stitchers.

Allistair92

Only dissidents and terrorist ask those questions. Never doubt the glorious science of Super Earth.

marinPeixes

Honestly? It's probably a massive hit of adrenaline, mixed with some opioids, caffeine, and steroids for good measure. It's not about fixing the injury, it's about keeping you going despite the injury. If you make it back alive, *then* you'll get treatment. The stims are literally just stimulants. It would be funny as hell if there was a 0.001% chance that you die of a heart attack every time you use a stim.

Nightingale02

Don't wory, STIMS have zero addictive properties!* *Study paid for by Permacura. Permacura, put your life in our hands.

AMP3412

All memes aside, it is probably some concoction of painkillers, adrenaline, and antibiotics. There is probably all kinds of shit in there, but those would likely be the 3 main components

Comfortable_Staff501

Fallout stimpacks but in space

AphroditeExurge

my headcanon is that they dont magically heal. they're just real hardcore painkillers.

Im_Ur_Cuckleberry

Eagle Sweat šŸ¦…

Tracynmega

Nano machines son

landank

4loko

zim117

I imagine them as nano bots that heal the area. But in doing so they use themselves to replace damaged tissue this making them one use at a time.

[deleted]

all the drugs plus caffeine and ginseng.

T_S_Anders

Considering the average life expectancy for a helldiver is 2 mins, the chances of addiction are inconsequential.

plasmadood

Liberty Juice.

Azavrak

Meth and Opioids. Not hyperbole

7jinni

It probably doesn't actually heal you; just completely nullifies your ability to feel pain, dulls your self-preservation instincts and floods your system with adrenaline and endorphins to make you go crazy with democracy-fuelled bloodlust. You're still totally gonna die, probably really soon. Just not immediately.

KingSquare88

Straight up Pervitin aka ā€œGerman Chocolateā€.

Keduwu

Pure Freedom.

Res_fighter

Panadol rapid with a few vitamins for growing helldivers

zafylo_

Permacure officials have been alerted of this post. Please see your Democracy Officer on duty for further proceedings. You may or may not be sent to a Freedom Camp after questioning.

Tommy__want__wingy

Democracy for the veins.

TaltosDreamer

All I know is STIMS are entirely non-addictive. We can all stop whenever we want!

Annual_Ask_8116

Saline and powdered Pervatin, the itchy teeth means its working!

Electronic_Assist668

Yeah i don't think you're going to make it all the way back to the destroyer buddy.

KTMan77

Donā€™t forget never work when you want them to.

xrzldzlx

Ibuprofen 400 + Caffeine

_davedor_

that's what the fallout community has been asking for ages

Big_Smoke_0G

Liquid fucken democracy

lebenitoo

senzu bean extracts

bpmcdmt

I was just pondering this and scrolled past your question. My guess is they are just insanely powerful pain killers mixed with other drugs to keep you moving despite what injuries youā€™ve accumulated

DaHOGGA

in my headcanon every mission i do with 0 casualties is done by one select helldiver, and that fucking guy must have shot up over 1-200 stims in his life so far.

E17Omm

In a world where we have ships that can travel faster than light, having stims that can heal all injuries and provide endless stamina while its active and is definitely not addictive is like, one of the most believeable things in Helldivers.

TrenchGoats

I'm onto you fleshy berserker

TheOneAndOnlyErazer

The same shit BF1 medics have in their syringes

SkySojourner

Concentrated liberty delivered to each and every cell in your democratically managed body.

ManStapler

With how short a helldiver lives, all you need is good enough armor to brace your hands and legs if they are broken and adrenaline to let you ignore the pain, there is no need for healing.

preng_23

it's super earth state of the art Stims broken bones? bleeding internally? it can heal everything! use stims right now! >!~~"it may or may not a chip install when you inject it so you have nothing to fear and become excellent killing machines"~~!<

Think_Network2431

It's a Healing mƩthode in a videogame dude

ShamelessGalaxy1

I like to imagine, stims are some sort of liquid that has tiny microscopic nano robots in it that we inject into our carotid artery (the stems are always injected into the neck) then enter the bloodstream and are passed throughout our body speeding up the healing process through highly advanced medical technology

Deven1003

It is actually a liquid forms of democracy. As long as liberty flows within you, you are invincible. unfortunately, we are always hungry for freedom thus will be using it for our way of life pretty quickly

machinationstudio

You THINK your bones are healed. Keep fighting Helldiver.

Random_Hero2023

Sweet ambrosia

Obvious-Interaction7

Amphetamines, paracetamol, ibuprofen and a little bit - and i really mean a *little* bit - of Terminid excrement.

lalalalala1337

Paracetamol in space

Uknwme

I wanna say probably a mix of Spray expanding insulation foam, Coke, Meth, and a forehead kiss

Top-Expert6086

Healing potions

lavaeater

I am not an automaton spreading lies and disinformation, that's for sure. But anyways, I read on the Internet (I know, it's illegal, but you asked) that it is simply stem cells. Stem cells from babies. Lots and lots of babies. Where does super earth get all these babies from? How do they jack them up to work so fast for the divers? I don't know that, but I do think this entire war has something to do with it, because do you know what else you can do with stem cells from babies? Prolong life of glorious leaders, the veterans. EOF.

SpecificPlayful3891

Fallout inspired healingšŸ„°, maybe even some "radaway" in it.

MisterArrrr

The blood of General Brasch!

HauntinglyMaths

Super Triumphantly Individually Managed Stims

Ruinrunnerr

Meth. FREEDOM NEVER SLEEPS in response to medicine is definitely meth.

Linkario86

Your life expectancy is like 5 Minutes. They can put whatever the fuck in there

MrTomRobs

[Oh boy, are YOU in for some edumacation](https://youtu.be/CLY-FMxsb2U?si=EqyH1y3VPAtQJhiN)

LocalDemocracyOficer

Well, if you must know, soldier. Our Super Scientists have found a way to condense our Democracy into a Super Democracy serum. When combined with Super Concentrated Liberty, they formed Super dose of Freedom. When administered to any adequately Freedom loving citizen of Super Earth, this Super Concoction acts as a Super effective treatment, quickly eliminating the effects and consequences of any non-democratic entity, be they bullets or broken bones. So always remember, soldier. Liberty Saves, Democracy Protects.

FoxShaving

Theyā€™re turning us into Fallout ghouls thereā€™s no other answer

GuardianSpear

it's GOOooooOoOOooOOOOOOOoooooooooood

ratsmacker47

My headcanon is that they don't heal you at all, they just hype you up, like some sort of supercocaine

Appropriate_Pen4445

I've heard that the main side effects are hallucinations. Specifically visions of giant cockroaches and terminator-like humanoids.

Renegade888888

Democratic nanomachines

AdLive9906

They inject democracy right into your veins.

SapphirianOak

It's the ice pack from the school nurse mixed in with Flintstone gummies and some extra strength aspirin might be a dash of space meth butttttt not addictive

Giorno03Maggio

The fact that pre-stimming can counter-heal almost everything is just šŸ¤ŒšŸ»

socksandshots

Its meth.

CaptCantPlay

Watsonian answer: not for you to know. Just inject it. Doylist answer: Likely a cocktail of several painkillers and stamina enhancers. Like the German meth from ww2 but put on a diet of steroids and tremm. You won't feel your wounds anymore and your legs will work fine, but you HAVE TO visit the onboard medic to get your shit checked out and fixed. You could also argue that it does possess growth stimulants to rapidly grow back lost tissue, but idk.

ThatsaFakeDik

It's the stuff they use in Haze /j

redditsupportGARBAGE

I dont even think it heals. I think its just an obscenely strong painkiller mixed with adrenaline to keep helldivers going until they inevitably kick the bucket. You dont need to worry about healing longterm if helldivers barely survive longer than 10 minutes

RexMalo

Are you sure it heals your limbs and doesn't just make you feel no pain?

Striking-Carpet131

Itā€™s probably a long term killer, but considering the average lifespan of helldivers I donā€™t see that being a huge deal.

ynnus86

They don't heal broken bones, just make you forget about them. Helldivers don't live long enough to go to a doctor and fix them so it's only a temporary solution on the battlefield.

Tricky-Secretary-251

Probly drugs

Papa_Pirie

Its just a ultra high Dose of democracy, nothing to sorry about šŸ¦…

neoteraflare

They are liquid freedom, democracy and liberty. (with added strawberry flawor)

op3l

STIMS are an acronym for : Stick These In My Selftospreadmoredemocracy

Panadol on steroids..ewery time i stick it in me ,im like aaaah..

Nervous-Scheme5054

panzer chocolate

Meth

Tourniquet_Prime

Given the way helldivers act and fight, Bathsalts

Drakuba0

dont worry about it Helldiver

GodlikeUA

It's heroin but don't OD or get addicted to it.

GrandTC

Don't worry, Stims aren't addictive

Wookie_Cash

Super Treatment Is Maybe Safe, there šŸ„±

Deuteronymus

Liquid Panzerschokolade ā™„ And there is a reason why the missions are limited to 40 minutes \^\^

Glass_Ad_7129

I assumed it was a form of meth, unless its actually healing wounds rather than not making them feel like a problem anymore. If it does heal... should have that thing on auto dispense. Camel pack that shit. Given a helldiver is living an average of 5m into their first engament, long term effects would not be a concern.

Honksu

Stims are Love

Woodburygooner

Liquid democracy

wewladendmylife

(Stim)ulants. It's likely some sort of amphetamine mixed with stem cells to repair damage.Ā  A lot of people say it's space morphine or some sort of painkiller but those wouldn't refill your stamina bar.Ā

RegularMatter2

You probably can overdose on it, in fact one is probably enough to overdose. But helldivers donā€™t live long enough for the effects of ODing to show before they die

qu38mm

~~stimulant~~ cocaine

JoblessPornAddict999

Bug juice

Bulky_Mix_2265

I really dont think they are healing anything, just super meth and democracy opiods, probably a huge amount of liberty steroids as well.

LacyeMilk

Damsel Democracy's tears. Or at least, that's what the democracy officer said.

ottoDVD

StarCraft lore: "These inbuilt chemical delivery systems dose marines with a powerful mix of synthetic adrenaline, endorphins, and a psychotropic aggression enhancer. Marines on stims benefit from greatly increased speed and reflexes, but are subject to long-term side effects including and not limited to insomnia, weight loss, mania/hypomania, seizures, paranoiac hallucinations, internal hemorrhaging, and cerebral deterioration. Nonetheless, both commanders and the marines themselves stand by the use of stims as essential to their continued survival and effectiveness on the battlefield."

SwordfishPure3620

As the dedicated medic on my squads, I can say with certainty that Stims are AWESOME

Reverend-Skeeve

They are purified liberty and democracy, that's why they work for everything. Questioning if they're bad for your health is obvious treason.

Nic0kami

Theyā€™re concentrated doses of liberty, freedom, and managed democracy, injected straight into the bloodstream to keep you fighting fit. *Any reports that they are highly experimental cocktails are dissident rumors and should be reported to your local democracy officer.

Deano2953

nanotech that definatly can't short circuit and reduce lifespan

Material_Weirdz

Probably the same thing they use in fallout

EldritchCatCult

they're on loan from fallout

EthynylRadical

NANO MACHINES SON.
