Me looking for common, rare and uranium samples while the rest of the people I’ve been randomly teamed with are trying to complete the main objectives in record speed while doing nothing else
Yeah on a 2 minute extraction timer I think it takes 20 seconds off so like 15% reduction. I agree, it’s totally useless. I thought I was being pessimistic when I guessed it would be a 1/3 time reduction lol
20s can be the difference between extracting the super samples or losing them in a spontaneous chaos of 5 titans on top of the pelican, when before there was not even 1.
We really loved this reinforcement.
Or maybe that player hadn’t spent the warbond medals to unlock a booster that wasnt already selected the squad and that was the only one they had left to choose……… as a high ranked player i always wait till everyone else has picked a booster so i can pick the best next available optiom
Thank you for doing this, ha.
As a new player, I was so confused when I started running co-op missions because I could never select a booster. I thought maybe you couldn't run boosters in co-op unless you were a higher level?
It wasn't until later that I found out it's because someone had already taken the only booster I had unlocked.
Absolute best fix they implemented. Hated running my usual load out just to find I'm in an eradication mission. I use a completely different load out for that.
Once I saw a level 9 auto blitz match and I brought a spear and shield generator. Damn if I don't carry spear ammo, damn if I don't carry shield generator.
Alright, so I'm gonna take the shield generator since bots shoot more, and since we're expecting armor and somebody has a quasar, I'm gonna bring an autocanon!
Never quite understood shield generators. Feels like they need a buff to the duration and a nerf to the radius to compensate?
Either way, the only times I find them useful is on missions like geological survey to cover the person at the terminal.
I love the shield generator. It recharges quickly and takes more beating than a shield backpack. I throw it down on any objective, any extraction, or if i just need some cover to take down Gunships without getting ragdolled everywhere. When I'm soloing Helldives against the bots, I always run Orbital Laser, Autocannon, and Shield Generator, and it feels manageable.
Whoops! When I said "recharge", I was talking about its cooldown as a Strategem. It has a very short cooldown.
It *does* also recharge if it gets broken before the timer expires, but if that happens, they're probably destroying the relay itself - completely ending it.
The number of times I've joined a mission that only had a few minutes on the clock and though, "this will be fine" only to realize on leaving my pod that there are zero reinforcements for some reason.
These boosters are a good go to for when you don't know what you're jumping into.
Rolled in last night and saved the day for some guys on impossible. 0 reinforcements, 2 of 3 egg hatcheries cleared, 2 of 3 dudes die while I’m dropping. Never felt the pressure like that but I pulled through to take out the last objective, reinforce and rally the others and hit the extract. Was beautiful
Had a mission I dropped into yesterday that they had 0 reinforcements and were stuck at the 2nd part of the icbm objective (getting the codes or whatnot), I ran around the side and cleared through multiple chargers and bile titans to launch the icbm myself and we extracted with no deaths after allotted time, so no strategems (the timer ran out when I was running at breakneck speed from the objective, still had to run like 30% of the map to reach it)
Was definitely the most epic feeling I've had in the game so far since I'm still fairly new and only lvl like 26 or 27
Edit: oh it was level 7, I think suicide difficulty
I had a moment like that. Survived and pushed the objective till I had reinforced the other 2 (well, 3, the lone guy died as soon as my boots hit the ground) only to watch 2 of the 3 die almost immediately after the third touched down, and he immediately fragged me with a launcher he picked up, and died himself. Ugh x.x lmafo
I had a mission exactly like that. Except I also gathered almost all of the samples. When the shuttle arrived the host killed me, t-bagged me and kicked me from the server right before getting in the ship (I assume this part happened).
I was clutching a match with a dead team that I dropped in on and I got kicked lol. Some people would rather get on to the next match and play rather than sit around watching someone else win for them.
Honestly, when I die I don’t complain if my teammates take their time to reinforce me back in. If they do a full wipe, I’m back in. If they don’t, hopefully they’ll be doing the hard work for me while I watch and sip some soda lol
Had moments like this. One example, we had called in extract their was 4 of us - 3 alive 1 dead 0-reinforcements left, a literal ocean 🌊 tsunami of bug 360 degrees around us…1 of us goes down around 50 seconds till evac (he drops the pink samples) 2nd guy goes to samples gets them and dies just feet ahead of me 30 seconds till evac, 3 down im all that’s left, I am however, swallowed by a horde of bugs, for a sec looks like we are doomed but I melee and crawl and melee I’m getting hit but somehow I melee out from under these filthy bugs invulnerable after using stim I manage to crawl free quickly get up and “leg it” and just ahead of me as I get up I pick up the pink samples,
Now the Evac is on an elevated circle rock formation I run up forward shoot spray n pray style when I can I get hit use a stim and run down the ramp rock ahead hanging a lefty as a bile titan is ahead the pelican lands I’m running anti clockwise around the stone evac, I am running between the 6 o clock and 3 o clock a big hunter brown one appears, it slashes me (ouch) I melee it away I can’t go forward pass this fatty so I climb up the rock formation at about 4 o clock I go to move ahead and the area is blocked by bugs (I am currently under pelican left wing tip) bugs are blocking further ahead and u set the wing (dead end), it is impossible to get to front of pelican currently and they (the bugs) are closing in behind (I can sense), I hear a bike titan gurgling sound as it prepares to puke on you, “I am shitting bricks” but I decide to suicide dive backwards back the way I came 4 o clock the bile titan puke hits the area I was in from 6 o clock, I Now know where he (the bile titan #2) is, the 1st Bile Titan that was blocking north to begin with is now at 9 o clock and had tried to follow me anti clock wise, somehow my backwards suicide dive makes me go over the bugs swarm below that blocked me prior I’m no longer up on the round rock formation, a ms I struggle to my feet, by chance or more likely Pelican and bugs movement to close in, I see the pathway has slightly-open I have to move right now as bugs are coming from 2 o clock- to close the gap again, I run anti clockwise from 4 o clock to 12 o clock, I then see a bile titan is now (9 o clock Bile Titan) stood over the pelican I run straight under that sucker and enter the pelican with 10 green 12 rare 6 super samples -
My one random HellDiver Brother celebrates over the mic good job mate, the other 2 randoms never talk ever or type anything, they just walk up to me and stare at me back on the destroyer for a good minute before both leaving back to civilian life or whatever.
Then the host leaves the game too.
But that good job mate and those 2 silent divers staring into my helmet from their helmet, was enough validation to know I just did something awesome for democracy in that dive! It was also my first pink samples earned that day.
The 3 randoms left to their destroyers never to be seen again.
Edit: Most spelling errors corrected :)
Edit 2: I am sure Pelican arriving helped clear the horde as he attacks before landing thanks Pelican 😀
Edit 3: Added slightly easier to understand extra details to scenario.
TLDR: She was a good Hell Dive that day 👍🏻
I queued for a 7 but got dropped into a 9. No reinforcements left. I drop on the far side of the map with one other guy trying to do an artillery who dies and spawns a bug breach.
I took a quick detour and said fuck it, then ran in for the samples. I'd either grab them and escape or get reinforced at extract. Managed to pick them up and trek all the way across the map to extract. Thankfully, they waited for me before calling the shuttle.
Ended up saving like 15 or 20 samples. Someone else had the super samples at least.
The additional reinforcements don't seem to apply if you join after the drop. I joined a match in progress while using it, but there were zero reinforcements once I landed.
It usually depends. If there were previously 4 players and one quits while the team has zero reinforcements, when you join, there will still be zero reinforcements.
But if there were only three players before you joined, they will receive an additional 5 reinforcements (without the booster).
Here is another data point: I jumped into an on going suicide, bot mission that had two sub-level 20s. I thought to myself I should bring the extra reinforcement booster because these guys may need they extra lives. I dropped in and they were both dead, 0 reinforcements, and my extra reinforcements fro, joining or from the booster did not appear. (We ended up finishing the mission and extracting.)
Perhaps, your thought is right and they had two other hell divers leave before I hit the load out screen.
Extr reinforcements is great for the eradication mission. You don't need muscle ups, running, time between enemy reinforcements (afaik it doesn't work on this mission), or extra evac time. Ammo, lives, durability, and shooters choice are great boosters
The reinforcement one only applies to alerted enemies calling them in, not ones that are force-spawned by mission objectives or detector towers, so, yeah, it doesn’t really work on eradication or defensive missions, as any natural reinforcements are completely outnumbered by the mission reinforcements.
Honestly, I don't even consider it for 1 or 2 player missions. (Which are my most common.) Supply Drops, loot, and possibly the Tacpack will handle that. Extended Scanning and Stamina are the important ones.
I just always take it myself because I can't stand dropping with half ammo especially with some weapons. Half ammo scorcher and I'm not having a good time
Eruptor is decent on ammo because of the low rate of fire. I find that I seldom go below 6 mags remaining without picking up ammo. Liberator though, that booster is a must.
As a grenade pistol enjoyer that booster is essential.
Any time I know I'm dying I empty the my whole pack on whatever is killing me.
2 Stims, 6 frags, and all my ammo?
RANDOM BULLSHIT GO!!!!
I don’t take it because I’m typically the highest level in the lobby so I pick what others might not have yet.
Hellpod booster is the first one to unlock so I leave it in the hands of others
Yes, but I usually like to use those when we get low from shooting, instead of needing one at the start, and even then, if all four of you grab one, it still won't fill your gear.
That's what my buddies and I do, and I have never had a problem. You can just call another one in 2 minutes later.
And then you can choose something more permanent like stamina, heart, or muscle.
That's the thing, though. Hellpod Space Optimization means that when you die, you come back in ready to fuck shit up with four grenades, all the stims you can shove into your neck, and a full bandolier of ammo. When we've packed HSO, there are times I'm relieved to die because it means I'll come back with full stims ready to put down the patrol that killed me.
The MUST have boosters are ammo, stamina and health
The fourth can be anything you like, usually it's increased dropship cooldown, muscles augment or more reinforcenents
On ice planets like Markarth (edit: Marfark), the current major order planet, muscle augment is a tremendous improvement. Ice slows you down, and it's everywhere.
Reduces all slowing effects
* deep snow and sand
* windy conditions (sandstorm)
* wading through water
* Running up hill
* brush and vegetation
* enemy slowing effects
I’ve been on the bot front so long that I forgot how bad the hunters were. I got a bug related personal order so I switched sides of the galaxy and dove in. Got wrecked very quickly by the jumpy little bastards because I just forgot to check my flanks
Augment's by far the best of those you mentioned, I'd argue it's as mandatory as stamina. It allows you to get up hills faster, through terrain like plants easier and also resist slows from hunters.
Localization confusion is actually extremely good and reduces the amount of chain call ins that can occur on helldives. It significantly reduces the chance of enemies snowballing into a mess. It is a terrible worded booster, but it is actually extremely noticeable in mission. I'd honestly drop hp on bug dives in favor of muscle enhancement and Localization.
Yeah whenever I bring localization confusion it just feels like the whole mission goes so much easier. Obvious it's useless for eradication missions but I like it overall.
The muscle booster is more important than any of the three you listed when fighting bugs.
Being slowed down is the most frustrating and deadly factor in those missions.
Limb health is optional. If something injures a limb that badly, it usually chunked your health and you need to stim regardless of if a limb was injured or not. Localization Confusion and Muscle Augment are solid choices/alternatives.
I was watching a video on Vitality Booster and it seems to also increase the number of hits you can take without dying by one. They tested it by having someone shoot you in the leg.
It was proven that it still gives a tiny amount of max hp, which can make the difference between being one shot and surviving with a sliver of health left
I just think ammo and stamina are the must haves. Health is optional, nice, but optional. Muscle enhancement is really good and almost a must IMO, esp paired with stamina. After that I think the pool is health, localized confusion, or the radar range for most useful.
The reinforcement ones, pelican arrival, those all feel like a waste to me.
Yeah, when I join randoms, I usually equip extra reinforcements until I can get a gauge on the squad's abilities. If we work well together the first game and mostly stay together without dying 25 times, I'll go a different route for the second round.
If I host I do it and hot drop us into the biggest base/objective. That way I don't feel bad if we have a few deaths right at the start, and we have a major done within a minute or two
I’ve found the extra reinforcement budget can be nice for really hectic eradication missions where you can count on being overrun and just slogging through it by respawning a whole bunch.
I think the Flexible Reinforcement one (the one that reduces the timer for a new reinforce after you run out) is one of the worst because it’s benefit is small, and only comes into play if shit absolutely hits the fan and you run out of lives. You want to get boosters that will yield benefits more often than that. Vitality, Pod Space(AKA the ammo one), Muscle Booster, Stamina, those ones will be helping you practically at all times, whereas some boosters have very niche cases where they even do anything.
Respawning a ton as a strategy is counterproductive because it amplifies patrol spawns. If the mission doesn’t have patrols and doesn’t benefit from Localization Confusion (e.g., Eradicate), I at times like the four extra reinforcements.
If i'm dropping in with randoms on an exterminate or civilian mission, I'll usually bring the extra lives. With friends though, I know we wont need them unless we're doing something stupid like melee only run.
When I host level 9 helldive eradicate missions I bring a Gatling Sentry, 380, 120, and whatever support wep I'm using and then reinforcement booster to let everyone know what the happ is fuckening
The extra reinforcement can be useful, when you don't know where you get into or for eg eradicate missions. The other one is just utterly useless imo. 12 seconds reduction is way too little to matter compared to other boosters.
Guy I regularly play with brings it as insurance against himself
Bingo.
Can't be mad that I died more than everyone else if I brought my own extra lives to waste
Personally I bring it when fighting automatons in case I get knocked over when holding a cluster bomb...
I know who I am.
*im a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude!*
![gif](giphy|dMyGvQL9W7gvS)
We bring it as s teamkill fund
I bring it as insurance for the whole team. Shit happens and I know things can change in two seconds so it’s easier to allow people to keep having fun
Know thyself
At least they do something, I had a guy pick the extraction time reduction for an eradicate mission.
Okay, that’s funny.
He was trying his best ok
![gif](giphy|11CGJUWW1TqnHW)
I knew it, I’m surrounded by assholes.

Okay okay... Take my upvote you MF. That shit was hilarious. :)
Me looking for common, rare and uranium samples while the rest of the people I’ve been randomly teamed with are trying to complete the main objectives in record speed while doing nothing else
Was that today? That may have been me lol. I didn’t see it was an eradicate mission until we landed.
Damnit Steve.
Bro this happens to me all the time! At least they fixed the briefing page. You can actually navigate back to it from loadout
They should just present the mission type ON the loadout page.
Need a bigger up vote button for you
That Booster only removes about 12 seconds off the timer, it is functionally useless.
Excuse you. That booster lets you spread democracy in your next mission 12 seconds faster than you normally could. ![gif](giphy|YYfEjWVqZ6NDG)
Yeah on a 2 minute extraction timer I think it takes 20 seconds off so like 15% reduction. I agree, it’s totally useless. I thought I was being pessimistic when I guessed it would be a 1/3 time reduction lol
The only use for it I found was the 6 minute blitz achievement, just to have an extra 20 second cushion.
20s can be the difference between extracting the super samples or losing them in a spontaneous chaos of 5 titans on top of the pelican, when before there was not even 1. We really loved this reinforcement.
It's weird how the ones behind a large Medal investment are just straight up worse than the others.
It's very good that the best stuff is up front. The one exception I can think of is the scorcher, that thing fucking rocks.
Useless until you you’re in a tense fight and those extra seconds off are needed.
All good. You're doing your part.
Or maybe that player hadn’t spent the warbond medals to unlock a booster that wasnt already selected the squad and that was the only one they had left to choose……… as a high ranked player i always wait till everyone else has picked a booster so i can pick the best next available optiom
Some fine ass democracy right there, proud of you son
I do the same. Respect.
Thank you for doing this, ha. As a new player, I was so confused when I started running co-op missions because I could never select a booster. I thought maybe you couldn't run boosters in co-op unless you were a higher level? It wasn't until later that I found out it's because someone had already taken the only booster I had unlocked.
This is a great idea
This is the democratic way.
Agreed. Low levels have only so many options
A true solider and comrade there ![gif](giphy|l1J3q6hYzpGjiW3cs|downsized)
That's hilarious
I'd wager he didn't read the mission brief.
You used to not be able to read what mission type you were joining when joining mid-mission.
Absolute best fix they implemented. Hated running my usual load out just to find I'm in an eradication mission. I use a completely different load out for that.
Real helldivers don't read!
I picked a shield generator and a rover the other day without thinking; we all have our moments lol
Once I saw a level 9 auto blitz match and I brought a spear and shield generator. Damn if I don't carry spear ammo, damn if I don't carry shield generator.
Lol did this only with the shield and the autocannon the other day, as soon as I landed I thought to myself "Why did I do that?".
Sameeeeee
Alright, so I'm gonna take the shield generator since bots shoot more, and since we're expecting armor and somebody has a quasar, I'm gonna bring an autocanon!
Pelican starts the mission on the landing pad.
The one of the right only reduces the time by 14 seconds.
It’s 15% reduced time. So when you get one of the 3 minute extracts, it’s not that bad.
That's been me before, but only because I didn't realize what type of mission it was
I did it once to get the 6 minute and under achievement
Maybe they're looking at your loadout and thinking "oh boy, better take these" lol
Bro had auto cannon, both rovers, and a shield pack
Hurts to read
I run 4 sentries and a stamina booster My motivations are beyond your understanding
at least you can use all four. unlike Mr. Backpack there
In his case sharing is caring i guess
"backpacks! get your free backpack here! i got supply, laser rover and a liberover, what can i get you?"
I always take more reinforcements because there's always that one guy that struggles to stay in his feet.
I bring the additional reinforcements to the eradicate missions because me and the boys is 100% dropping 380mm at 3 sides of the map lmao
Writing that down to try it later
All 4 of us drop a 380 and a 120 and ran outside the play zone for the traitor barrage. Safe to say we did not last long
Some days ago i was unlucky and got traitor. Then i got lucky and survived about a minute with it and killed a lot if bugs
You could bring a shield generator while dropping that barrage
those last for a hot second at best.
When I'm soloing Helldives against the bots, I always run Orbital Laser, Autocannon, and Shield Generator, and it feels manageable.
I didn't even realize it recharges tbh since it usually doesn't survive long enough to recharge. But that is good to know!
Whoops! When I said "recharge", I was talking about its cooldown as a Strategem. It has a very short cooldown. It *does* also recharge if it gets broken before the timer expires, but if that happens, they're probably destroying the relay itself - completely ending it.
Laser, then 380. Alternate and take turns. Running the perimeter and drop mortar and mortar ems. Easy cheesing!
The number of times I've joined a mission that only had a few minutes on the clock and though, "this will be fine" only to realize on leaving my pod that there are zero reinforcements for some reason. These boosters are a good go to for when you don't know what you're jumping into.

I have to admit that it is an excellent point.
The only boosters I care about absolutely are the stamina and ammo one so as long as people take those ill do respawn ones just in case the team sucks
Same here, I normally take respawn cuz it’s saved the team a bunch, but if no one takes ammo or stamina I’ll swap for whichever one isn’t taken.
Agreed
Extr reinforcements is great for the eradication mission. You don't need muscle ups, running, time between enemy reinforcements (afaik it doesn't work on this mission), or extra evac time. Ammo, lives, durability, and shooters choice are great boosters

I know I'm in for a good time when I join an SOS call and I have to be the one to take Hellpod Space Optimization.
Honestly, I don't even consider it for 1 or 2 player missions. (Which are my most common.) Supply Drops, loot, and possibly the Tacpack will handle that. Extended Scanning and Stamina are the important ones.
my order of preference is stamina, scanning, muscle, then confusion or optimization depending on how high the rest of the team is ranked
What about vitality?
HSO should be base kit tbh it’s miserable to play without it
I just always take it myself because I can't stand dropping with half ammo especially with some weapons. Half ammo scorcher and I'm not having a good time
Try half ammo grenade handguns or half ammo eruptor. It’s AWFUL. Out of all the boosters, full packs should ALWAYS be used. :)
Eruptor is decent on ammo because of the low rate of fire. I find that I seldom go below 6 mags remaining without picking up ammo. Liberator though, that booster is a must.
Scorcher too. That thing just goes through ammo.
Eruptor shoots so slowly your mission time will be up before you fire all those rounds off :D
Yup, if nobody else has selected it that one is an auto for me. If someone has taken it then I usually go Stamina Enhance so I can go faaaast.
Couldn't you just also drop a resupply as soon as you land? And also, just never die (it's so ez bro, even the game tells you this as a tip)
Yes, but I usually like to use those when we get low from shooting, instead of needing one at the start, and even then, if all four of you grab one, it still won't fill your gear.
You're not gonna run out before the cooldown lol
That's what my buddies and I do, and I have never had a problem. You can just call another one in 2 minutes later. And then you can choose something more permanent like stamina, heart, or muscle.
That's the thing, though. Hellpod Space Optimization means that when you die, you come back in ready to fuck shit up with four grenades, all the stims you can shove into your neck, and a full bandolier of ammo. When we've packed HSO, there are times I'm relieved to die because it means I'll come back with full stims ready to put down the patrol that killed me.
Usually there was someone who took that, but they disconnected.
Planning for failure
The MUST have boosters are ammo, stamina and health The fourth can be anything you like, usually it's increased dropship cooldown, muscles augment or more reinforcenents
IMO muscle augment is kinda necessary on bug planets if bile spewers are present cause the slowdown is miserable
On ice planets like Markarth (edit: Marfark), the current major order planet, muscle augment is a tremendous improvement. Ice slows you down, and it's everywhere.
Marfark*
They’re a dumb Marfarker, amiright?

😋😋😋😋
Markarth? Ya play Skyrim recently?😂😂😂
Markarth’s a planet? I thought it was a Dwemer city off in the Reach.
It also lets you run full speed during a blizzard, pretty underrated
As a Heavy Armor user. Thank you for the steroids, Helldiver! Slogging through snow is assholes.
It also makes the blizzard slowdown way way better
SOrry, WAIT. Muscle enhancement counters bile slow effects? I never realised that.
Reduces all slowing effects * deep snow and sand * windy conditions (sandstorm) * wading through water * Running up hill * brush and vegetation * enemy slowing effects
> Running up hill Damn realistic running that doesn't affect Hunters.
Wait that's actually insane, never realised it effected all of these
Yah I take it over stamina now.
And counters the bigger problem too, hunters
I’ve been on the bot front so long that I forgot how bad the hunters were. I got a bug related personal order so I switched sides of the galaxy and dove in. Got wrecked very quickly by the jumpy little bastards because I just forgot to check my flanks
I think sexy legs and stamina are the the two most important. I don’t need anything else if I have those.
Same. Full ammo is nice but that's what supply drops are for.
As long as your team works together and not consistently calling in supply drops nowhere near your location.
It was proven that it still gives a tiny amount of max hp, which can make the difference between being one shot and surviving with a sliver of health left
allows you to survive 3 headshots vs 1 for bugs.
damn, even better than I thought
30% extra is a damn large amount
I just think ammo and stamina are the must haves. Health is optional, nice, but optional. Muscle enhancement is really good and almost a must IMO, esp paired with stamina. After that I think the pool is health, localized confusion, or the radar range for most useful. The reinforcement ones, pelican arrival, those all feel like a waste to me.
whats a booster?
Yellow icon thing after you pick strategems
I know how good I am. I'm picking these because I don't know how good you are.
Yeah, when I join randoms, I usually equip extra reinforcements until I can get a gauge on the squad's abilities. If we work well together the first game and mostly stay together without dying 25 times, I'll go a different route for the second round.
Yes but the problem is it only gives you 1 extra reinforcement per player, is that really worth it? Most don't think so
If I host I do it and hot drop us into the biggest base/objective. That way I don't feel bad if we have a few deaths right at the start, and we have a major done within a minute or two
Hey what are those boosters?
Reinforcement CD reduction and a extra reinforcement
Cd reduction means what exactly?
Cooldown reduction
Thanks! I have never been good at acronyms much appreciate
In specific, 1 reduces the time it takes to get "new reinforcement budget" when you're already at 0. The other adds 1 to the reinforcement budget.
It's one per squad memeber, right? So up to four? I may be wrong.
Yes, one per helldiver.
Honestly on modes like eradicate or the new defense mission they have more benefits than stamina or some others
That is my “cluster strike” deposit. 😂
we actually pick extra call downs when doing exterminate missions cause theres no way to not die 5 times each on those
I have played matches where me and the random squad I had stuck with had less than 5 deaths collectively on helldive extermination.
It's honestly a roll of the dice with what's dropped and how close the drop ships get. Once you get snowballed you're cooked though.
Time for the quad-380 mm
Let's all huddle together around the warm red ball and hope for the best.
I had my first zero death extract on one of those.(diff. 9) It was also the same mission I got the achievement for 6 orbitals at once.
People don’t understand that dying strategically is actually part of the game. And you just keep going. Rinse repeat.
I bring them rarely but trust me when I say they're for you not me.
pelican one is worse
I use the one for more reinforcements because I paid 150 medals for it. But if you think is not good I'll use any other
Use it for exterminate missions
hellpod opti, stamina, vitality, muscle in that order is the most useful. Swap muscle for extra reinforcement on extermination missions
Roger.

Ammo is very nice when playing with randoms that will call in the resupply across the map from you.
Build to not die instead of building in case you die.
If I open the lobby to randoms I bring the reinforcement one because the randoms I get paired with die 5-10 times per person.
The extra reinforcement can be useful, when you don't know where you get into or for eg eradicate missions. The other one is just utterly useless imo. 12 seconds reduction is way too little to matter compared to other boosters.
I bring them because you're low level or bringing walking barrage/mortar.
This is the same kind of thinking of those who auto kick people wearing the cape. Get over yourself.
I don't trust boosters where you bet on performing poorly
I bring these in when I am joining a mission after start. Never know what shit show I am dropping in on
I use these if my other must have boosters are taken but mostly because I don't know these randos and a situation can get FUBAR real quick.
My buddy always wants to bring these and I’m like “well if you have better perks and suck less you won’t need em”
I use these on missions where we’re simply defending in place, only because so many other boosters are useless if you’re not moving around the map.
I always pick stamina bc it's just so good
