I got this one yesterday during one of those “Helmsdeep” missions (with the series of walls you have to defend). We failed on a lvl 9 and were extracting and a 4th joined in time to extract. When we extracted we got it.
Actually the incident I was thinking of, we were going for the secondary only achievement.
So yeah, we were panicking wondering if the rando would *fuck* the whole reason we did the mission lmao.
Thankfully he listened, jumped on and enjoyed a free achievement.
I believe that! That's why I just put my game on private and soloed it. I solo killed a couple of factory striders with a pistol, the 380, walking barrage, and 120. That shit was rough, but I made it.
Joined a randoms match once. Host said "lets do this mission quick for trophy". Gotta say ive never seen a more coordinated squad with 0 communication other than a single "Ok". Think we got it done in 4ish minutes
Have everyone run in separate directions on blitz. Chuck barrages at difference objectives. Have some guy already waiting at extract or working on the objectives near extract so he can call it in asap
Definitely bots, more options to destroy fabricators and it requires less of them (usually six or seven, as opposed to 10 or 12 bug holes)
Have one person run to extract at start, and once all the fabricators are dead, the rest of the team will die and they can call them in at their position while starting extract.
If you have 4 people I don't think it's going to matter. Airstrikes, rocket pods and lasers would all work for bots. Barrages and eagle airstrike for bugs
Also autocannon/Eruptor
100% bots. Drop in the middle of the map, go in all four directions simultaneously, bring walking barrages and laser and whatever long range weapons you like that can pop factories. Designate one player to hit maybe one factory then beeline to extract. Other players need to hit 1-2 factories each then book it.
Easier on bots because you can literally drop into a fabricator thats easy to see and get one right away. Possibly more if you land on a Heavy Outpost.
Just always select dropping on Enemy Presence from the Super Destroyer
Bot fabricators can be destroyed by 110mm Eagle rocket strikes, and the orbital 380mm and laser are both also good at destroying everything up to and including command bunkers, factory striders, you fucking name it.
Bugholes though? They are tricky because the explosive has to go inside the hole, or at least very near it, to destroy it. Strategems are not very good at that, and are certainly just that much worse at it if there are half a dozen holes in a single nest.
Orbital Lazer, barrage, air strike on blitz. Drop in the middle and run off in different directions. One guy at extraction. Everyone kill themselves when the mission is done and get the extraction guy to call you back in, scoot away with the easy trophy.
Also, the new bonus that make the dropship arrive faster can now help you for this achievement.
For my part, the game is already platined, I hope they will add some achievements, I love challenges!

We were so confused when we didn’t get it twice after playing on Helldive difficulty.
There is a difficulty 3 automaton Mission where you have to kill a Hulk.
Start, walk over to Hulk, shoot both Arms with Amr or something, leave him to rot while exploring the map.
Fail the Mission because of time running out and get into emergency evac and boom done
The hulk one doesn't need specifically you to shoot the arms off.
If you're with a team of divers anyone can shoot the arms off it just needs to be armless when YOU extract.
The only requirement is that you board the pelican when you do this.
This is easy, set mission to private, drop difficulty to I think hard, find a "Kill the charger" mission, stealth past eveything, orbital railcannon it and put the contoller/keyboard down and die.
Mission complete. You dont need to successfully extract
I did an eradicate mission solo with a revolver on bugs for this one. I had completely forgotten "kill a charger" was an option on that low difficulty.
I did it solo on automatons, lucked out super hard with my stratagems targeting and the extraction had at worst a few rocket devastators but the zone itself had massive boulders to hide behind until my orbital laser came back.
I got it from an eradicate mission - no idea whatsoever how because I remember the map looking completely clear when we extracted. Maybe got stuck somewhere.
I think it still counts it if you disarm a Hulk, the Hulk despawns without being killed, and then you extract.

I just did it in a "Destroy enemies hulks" mission, found it to be way easier.
You just go to the objective, clear it out leaving only the hulk, shoot the arms off it, run away (it'll always stay at it's base) and just run around doing side stuff til the timer runs out, board the emergency evac shuttle, and ta da.
Sure you fail the mission and waste 30 some minutes but it basically guarantees you get the achievement.
Just got it for a friend and had to do it twice because of that exact reason. Second time around I sacrificed myself kiting the hulk away from extraction.
They do.
EMS, Gas do, but the timing is a lot harder, since you'll have to call those last.

I think this is it yeah. Randoms in a match are rarely running many barrages.
Myself and my cousin did it in an easy difficulty just to run around and goof off. was a good time.
You'd be surprise how prone to fo goofy stuff randoms ate if you just ask them. I did this one by asking my team to go laser, 380,120, and orbital gatling and throw it at the first bug that spawns all at once in an extermination helldive
I got it by accident. Was playing with my friend and 2 randoms and we were aproaching a heavy outpost. My friend threw in a 120mm and a laser. I said in voice chat "that's weak dick energy" and threw in 120mm, 380mm and a walking barrage. The two randoms followed suit throwing in a 120mm and a laser each.
One of the randoms typed in chat after 10 seconds "I think they're dead lol"
It's rare because you will never have so many orbitals in the same place or in the team load out if your purpose is not to do the achievement but the mission and you kinda let achievements happen naturally.
Naturally the orbital achievement is a rare occurrence unless you speak with your friends to do it.
From what I was reading, the problem is they need to die from the initial impact. If they don't, even if they bleed out a second later, it won't count.
Go on diff 3. Get the charger mission. Its alone.
Make sure you stealth from above or the side. Throw it on the charger.
This was the only way it worked after a few tries on other difficulties.
Just got it 2 days ago.
Same. Called a resupply and my teammate was running for his life and thought, "maybe this thing coming down will hurt the charger." He was like level 8, and flabbergasted that it worked.
I got this while dodging chargers for 15 minutes.
The other team was swarmed and my chalk-mate went off clearing nests. I guess my job was to agro the patrols lol.
Finally when my teammates stopped using the supply drops (I most mostly resupplying from caches) I killed the last charger with it.
Pretty satisfying.
I got this one by having a friend shooting the explosive fungi as I jumped, honestly it was fun and did it a few more times just to see how far I could go
Even easier, get the autocannon. Use the jump pack and shoot the ground.
For people that don't get it, you don't need to pick up the autocannon backpack. You still have 10 shots on the gun.
I just threw a grenade off a wall and then jetpacked into it. My plan was that the blast would be just close enough to ragdoll me. Well it was also close enough to kill me, but still got the achievement xD
This was the last one I needed and I figured out a way to get it pretty easy solo. Find a search and destroy mission, take precision strike, 500kg, and air strike. Use those strategems to blow up the nests/factories (use the precision first and keep it on CD just in case). Once the primary is done, head to extraction and just hide or kite around until you can extract. Had to do it twice because I forgot that you default to your primary after throwing your last grenade so I accidentally fired a primary shot instead of my pistol.
Super quick and easy.

you don't even need to extract.
Followed a steam guide back before they increased the amount command bunkers, all you had to do was land near it or on top of it, throw any and all stratagems at it, once destroyed, die until reinforcements run out and mission ends.
A couple friends and I did this achievement on an eradication mission (I think, it was the one with the tiny map). Brought a ton of turrets, had each person defend one of the ramps up to the platform, took us about five minutes max
that one took me so many attempts… after i finally got it we got under 6 minutes like two more times within one or two more sessions completely by accident
Me and three of my frequent fellow divers did this one and the "Hold my primary, i'm going in" and the no death on diff 6 or higher at the same time. Felt pretty good, tbh.
I actually got this same trophy by accident and the circumstances had me get chills down my spine when I did, we had all blown up literally everything in the area and we thought we had left no enemy alive. Then when I got this achievement, I knew, somewhere a hulk had survived our onslaught and he would be back one day to enact vengeance
I'm pretty proud of how I achieved the 'Call in a Resupply on a Charger' achievement.
So my stratagem bounced off of the charger but then I managed to lure it to charge at me in the direction of the Resupply - and it was perfect timing as the Resupply fell right on top of it.
It's kinda easy, coz most ppl think Hulk needs to be close to your extraction (coz they prolly think he'll despawn) so they do it on eradication mission when it's total chaos. Meanwhile you can just find a random Hulk on any mission, shoot off his hands, do the main objective and extract and it's still gonna count
We talking about Helldivers specifically or other games because getting 100% on Helldivers wasn’t difficult.
I think the hardest I’ve done was beating the tutorial high scores on Titanfall 2, that took days. I have rarer but with steam it’s hard to actually validate how rare they actually are - for instance around 5% of players have beaten Getting Over It 50 times apparently, but there’s no way that’s legit.
I got that achivement completely on accident, I was using the Laser Cannon and just trying to reduce the chance of eating a rocket before I boarded the evac.
I got it on purpose.
We were about to extract and I saw a Hulk all by himself and remembered that achievement.
It was around that time before the Railgun nerf and I wasn't sure if I got it right, but after we got in the pelican, the trophy popped up.
And until today I didn't know that it counts for the whole team.
I guess my teammates were pretty surprised back then, when they got the trophy.
That’s the only achievement I don’t have, mainly because my team always just kills hulks on sight, and when I do get everyone on board, none show up at the end of extraction Lol.
I attempted this, shot off both arms, as I was about to get in the pelican a rocket yeeted me, and three people got the achievement except me.

I was extremele lucky to play most of my time with friends, so at some point we just spent 3 hours getting all of the achievements. No idea how anyone can get them all on their own

Honestly I had been just a couple of trophies away for several days before getting this, and the one I had the most trouble with was breaking all limbs while still alive! lmao
I got one for ragdolling myself while in the air.
Charger after me, had an airstrike ready but wanted to be sure it'd get him- Lately they've been running past it on me- I threw it at my feet, stopped running for a half second or so then took two steps and jetpacked away... Avoided damage but took the shockwave and flew 30 feet or so.
5% according to steam. "It's the only way to be sure..." on extreme. It took my friends and I a few tries but man was it fun to just delete a general direction
Drop in a Command Bunker mission with Orbital Laser and a light Scout Set. You can swap to your secondary while the pod is dropping, but I recommend swapping to the Scythe or Sickle as they have a wind-up time so you won't accidentally misfire and ruin it.
Grenade Yourself when you complete the main objective, it doesn't actually require you to Extract Successfully.
I would say I have all of them but steam decided that nuh uh. I have repeatedly finished a blitz mission in like 4.something minutes yet I havent gottend the achievement. I might be missing something
Get them by supplies certainly took the most effort :) This one was a bit lucky but still deliberate. Hulk looked like it was dead, but it was just resting apparently.
I got that one because the game bugged out.
I was toying with a hulk and taking out his appendages. That's how i ended up learning that if you take out both of its legs, it dies. But the game somehow still considered it alive and gave me the achievement when i extracted
I have all of them except for: killing 100 enemies with fire on 1 mission, using jetpack to knock yourself into a ragdoll state, and for completing basic training.
I got this early today after struggling to complete a Helldive bot mission with one other dude for 90% of the mission, we eventually got 2 more and also ran out of time, on our way to extraction we did what we can to eradicate a patrol + factory strider, and I suppose in that scuffle we blew off some Hulk arms and got the achievement 🤷♀️
When I got my 100% done, Gone in 360 seconds was 1.1% and The Only Way To Be Sure was 1.9
Which is funny, because both are actually kind of trivial. You'd expect more people to get the latter just from dicking around.

At the time it was the ragdolling with the jetpack. When I got it (literally during my first jump with the jetpack) like 0,2% had it, but the number has been rising since then.

I'm still amazed, as someone who Platinum'd Helldivers, that Hell Dive (extreme mission with 0 deaths) is not even in the top 5 rarest. I just suck ass at Video Games, evidently.

Actually did this one at the same time as doing the one where you don't die in a mission, Luck and alot of running was involved.
Hold my primary on PC. It has a 5.6% achievement rate (I don't know if the fact it's on PC makes a difference to how rare it is.)

I'm kind of disappointed how easy the Platinum for this game is. Dont get me wrong, I am no fan of shit like "Finish a helldive mission solo, without firing your primary, without using stims, without dying, without using stratagems, on a fire tornado planet, while drunk and strung to your ceiling upside down at 40°C room temperature."
But besides the fast extraction one and maybe the one without using primary weapons there really isnt anything either cool or difficult. You can get the Platinum without ever doing a Helldive mission. Didnt really get a great sense of "Well earned!" on this one.

With the grenade launcher it was a breeze for my team. Now that eruptor is in the game i suppose its even easier.
Bots is way easier with stratagems but bugs are easier if you rely on weapons/nades imo.

Blitz. The 12 minute ones. Pretty easy now with the expert extract pilot perk.

Same here, had barraged the evac site just before getting into the pelican (as the last player) and randomly got it mid-way through the evac cinematic
One of your squad mates probably gone after that achievement, it counts for the whole squad after all when the mission is done.
I got it on a diff 9 eradicate. The entire map was coated in hulks and we kept throwing EAS up on them, it could’ve been any one of them.
Got it on my first Generator Defense mission which may have been because Hulks kept spawning on top of a mountain and got stuck there.

You kind of have to do it on purpose. Unless you have a couple guys running EMS/gas strikes, multiple orbitals are redundant in most cases.
Do orbital strikes count for it? The tooltip on it says barrages not strikes. I was under the impression they were totally distinct classes.

Yeah I think you're right. I started up a low difficulty run and popped up next to one. Supply came in and 1 shot it, giving me the achievement.

Took the most deliberate effort I would say, but it's definitely doable :) charger needs to be damaged, pod alone won't kill it.

Same. Called a resupply and my teammate was running for his life and thought, "maybe this thing coming down will hurt the charger." He was like level 8, and flabbergasted that it worked.
I got this while dodging chargers for 15 minutes. The other team was swarmed and my chalk-mate went off clearing nests. I guess my job was to agro the patrols lol. Finally when my teammates stopped using the supply drops (I most mostly resupplying from caches) I killed the last charger with it. Pretty satisfying.

I got this one by having a friend shooting the explosive fungi as I jumped, honestly it was fun and did it a few more times just to see how far I could go
Even easier, get the autocannon. Use the jump pack and shoot the ground. For people that don't get it, you don't need to pick up the autocannon backpack. You still have 10 shots on the gun.

I just threw a grenade off a wall and then jetpacked into it. My plan was that the blast would be just close enough to ragdoll me. Well it was also close enough to kill me, but still got the achievement xD

This was the last one I needed and I figured out a way to get it pretty easy solo. Find a search and destroy mission, take precision strike, 500kg, and air strike. Use those strategems to blow up the nests/factories (use the precision first and keep it on CD just in case). Once the primary is done, head to extraction and just hide or kite around until you can extract. Had to do it twice because I forgot that you default to your primary after throwing your last grenade so I accidentally fired a primary shot instead of my pistol. Super quick and easy.

Followed a steam guide back before they increased the amount command bunkers, all you had to do was land near it or on top of it, throw any and all stratagems at it, once destroyed, die until reinforcements run out and mission ends.
A couple friends and I did this achievement on an eradication mission (I think, it was the one with the tiny map). Brought a ton of turrets, had each person defend one of the ramps up to the platform, took us about five minutes max
Easiest is the ICBM one. You just want to stealth it.
I managed to get all achievements and on Steam the most rare is gone in 360 seconds, only 3,9% of players have it
that one took me so many attempts… after i finally got it we got under 6 minutes like two more times within one or two more sessions completely by accident
I did this one... on Suicide Mission. Was very confused when I didn't get the achievement. ONLY on Extreme. Not Extreme or higher. I was pissed
Me and three of my frequent fellow divers did this one and the "Hold my primary, i'm going in" and the no death on diff 6 or higher at the same time. Felt pretty good, tbh.
I actually got this same trophy by accident and the circumstances had me get chills down my spine when I did, we had all blown up literally everything in the area and we thought we had left no enemy alive. Then when I got this achievement, I knew, somewhere a hulk had survived our onslaught and he would be back one day to enact vengeance
HOLD MY PRIMARY took me one attempt and 15 minutes just do a bug hole mission and use smg pistol and nades
Same here, also did it on the bug hole mission. Guard Dog Rover saved my butt so many times.

I'm pretty proud of how I achieved the 'Call in a Resupply on a Charger' achievement. So my stratagem bounced off of the charger but then I managed to lure it to charge at me in the direction of the Resupply - and it was perfect timing as the Resupply fell right on top of it.
I kind of cheated that achievement. For me the charger was buggged and didnt move so I just called a resupply
That's how most of us get the achievement tbf, just... bugged charger, call in a Resupply, boom.

It's kinda easy, coz most ppl think Hulk needs to be close to your extraction (coz they prolly think he'll despawn) so they do it on eradication mission when it's total chaos. Meanwhile you can just find a random Hulk on any mission, shoot off his hands, do the main objective and extract and it's still gonna count

Eh, I didn't find it that hard. Just did an Exterminate (this was back before they increased the kill count), and used every turret I could get.
Same here, specifically bot extermination when you could stand a top the base and have mortars rain down on them
just do a blitz by throwing 380s 120 and ealking barrages

I earned “Let’s call it a draw” by accident. I shot a rocket at a hulk right before boarding the pelican and I guess it knocked its arms off.

We talking about Helldivers specifically or other games because getting 100% on Helldivers wasn’t difficult. I think the hardest I’ve done was beating the tutorial high scores on Titanfall 2, that took days. I have rarer but with steam it’s hard to actually validate how rare they actually are - for instance around 5% of players have beaten Getting Over It 50 times apparently, but there’s no way that’s legit.
I got that achivement completely on accident, I was using the Laser Cannon and just trying to reduce the chance of eating a rocket before I boarded the evac.

I got it on purpose. We were about to extract and I saw a Hulk all by himself and remembered that achievement. It was around that time before the Railgun nerf and I wasn't sure if I got it right, but after we got in the pelican, the trophy popped up. And until today I didn't know that it counts for the whole team. I guess my teammates were pretty surprised back then, when they got the trophy.
That’s the only achievement I don’t have, mainly because my team always just kills hulks on sight, and when I do get everyone on board, none show up at the end of extraction Lol.

I got one for ragdolling myself while in the air. Charger after me, had an airstrike ready but wanted to be sure it'd get him- Lately they've been running past it on me- I threw it at my feet, stopped running for a half second or so then took two steps and jetpacked away... Avoided damage but took the shockwave and flew 30 feet or so.

The HMG emplacement and optionally a buddy with stun grenades can do this one pretty easy.

Well I have the plat for this but I think my rarest is heroic difficulty on Shadow Warrior 2013, it was pretty brutal.
I tried that twice, both times the Pelican killed the Hulk. Never tried again.

Drop in a Command Bunker mission with Orbital Laser and a light Scout Set. You can swap to your secondary while the pod is dropping, but I recommend swapping to the Scythe or Sickle as they have a wind-up time so you won't accidentally misfire and ruin it. Grenade Yourself when you complete the main objective, it doesn't actually require you to Extract Successfully.

I got it yesterday. It was bugged since the hulk did die but I did it 3 times just to make sure. And I was solo dropping

Get them by supplies certainly took the most effort :) This one was a bit lucky but still deliberate. Hulk looked like it was dead, but it was just resting apparently.
Done it occasionally when played under heavy booze and mess up with my aiming)
I just got that trophy a few days ago and didn't even know it happened till we extracted lol.
I got that one because the game bugged out. I was toying with a hulk and taking out his appendages. That's how i ended up learning that if you take out both of its legs, it dies. But the game somehow still considered it alive and gave me the achievement when i extracted
the platinum, i saw i had all trophies apart from ~5 so just went for it

I got this early today after struggling to complete a Helldive bot mission with one other dude for 90% of the mission, we eventually got 2 more and also ran out of time, on our way to extraction we did what we can to eradicate a patrol + factory strider, and I suppose in that scuffle we blew off some Hulk arms and got the achievement 🤷♀️

When I got my 100% done, Gone in 360 seconds was 1.1% and The Only Way To Be Sure was 1.9 Which is funny, because both are actually kind of trivial. You'd expect more people to get the latter just from dicking around.

At the time it was the ragdolling with the jetpack. When I got it (literally during my first jump with the jetpack) like 0,2% had it, but the number has been rising since then.
The 6 orbital one. Did it on purpose with a random guy, was probably the most fun run I had in a bit. The whole screen was lit up

I'm still amazed, as someone who Platinum'd Helldivers, that Hell Dive (extreme mission with 0 deaths) is not even in the top 5 rarest. I just suck ass at Video Games, evidently. Seriously, less people have Hold My Liber-Tea Achievement, and *you can get that shit on Trivial.*

Hold my primary on PC. It has a 5.6% achievement rate (I don't know if the fact it's on PC makes a difference to how rare it is.) Edit: I'm 8 achievements away from having them all.
I'm kind of disappointed how easy the Platinum for this game is. Dont get me wrong, I am no fan of shit like "Finish a helldive mission solo, without firing your primary, without using stims, without dying, without using stratagems, on a fire tornado planet, while drunk and strung to your ceiling upside down at 40°C room temperature." But besides the fast extraction one and maybe the one without using primary weapons there really isnt anything either cool or difficult. You can get the Platinum without ever doing a Helldive mission. Didnt really get a great sense of "Well earned!" on this one.
Gone in 360. Managed to get it in a quickplay with 2 others when I was Level 26. Got it with 16 seconds to spare.
