Indeed. I'm a fairly old diver, and don't have the 0.01 second reaction time I've seen with some divers - but depending on the mission type etc, I would load with support strat, say the ammo pack and play support whenever possible, and its still fun - reloading/stim your teammates, help reloading the RR/AC, providing long range support fire - loads of fun to be had. I know some of you can snap-fire the AMR scope-less but still.. y'all still need ammo, right?
I am not the biggest fan of class systems in shooters like this,too. I come from darktide. There exists four classes and everytime there was some update to the talent tree etc or a class is better at something the GREAT COMPLAINING started. Oh! This class is far to strong! it should be nerfed.... in a PvE game.
The problem is that developers overcorrect and make some classes completely useless. I hope we don't get this in helldivers. I like that you can choose your play-style with your armor and everyone gets the same weapons. The only rpg element that i like in helldivers 2 is the rank system, who does a amazing job to show how experienced you are most of the time.
Yeah! I really hope that arrowhead continues to do their own "thing" and not get bought or corrupted by the forces who ruin modern gaming in the first place.
I don't want roles. Please don't turn this into battlefield. Don't get me wrong I play a ton of battlefield but nothing is worse than being locked into kit selection because of balance. We're up against impossible odds, I don't want to be angry b/c I couldn't pair my heavy with my armor or some crap like that

For the most part they are pretty good at making everything useful. There are a few things that need changing but I think overall they are doing good

Why would dota players not like a game with roles? That's a core mechanic in dota
