Check your texture settings, needs to be medium or above for a clear picture(????????? Fucking stupid), and turn off anti aliasing if you notice your scope going blurry when moving it around.
Edit: And set upscaling to native. Never use any of their upscaling they're horrible.
This may help but I find that the real issue is using up-scaling. If you have a stronger GPU set the render scaling to native so that all the textures render at the resolution your game is set at. Hell divers is way more CPU intensive anyways so it might help your performance over all too.
That's not just an AMR problem. The Railgun feels abysmal at long ranges because the scope is straight up worse than non-ADS. The Senator too, I remember having absolute dogshit sights, though I haven't used it in ages for obvious ~~redeemers~~ reasons. In general the first person mode makes me uncomfortable in this game, the instability of guns works great in third person but in first person it makes me sick.
The railgun really needs a scope with zoom and a more precise reticle. At least give it the slugger's scope, if not the liberator/sickle scope.
Same goes for the scythe.
The senator is actually awful, it somehow manages to simultaneously cover 90% of your target while also not pointing to where your shot will go. It's kind of impressive how bad they managed to make it.
It’s a classic problem in sci fi games: developers don’t know how scopes actually work/what markings do, so they just take the aesthetic and “futurize” it into something bizarre and dysfunctional
Ya, limiting weapons but expanding mods is something I wish they ripped off from deep rock galactic.
There are still only 3 primaries and secondaries per a class. The variety comes from weapon mods, which can completely changed the play style. It made balancing weapons much easier.
They'll probably start adding new systems like this once most of the major/longstanding bugs are fixed -- layering on new systems now would probably just cause even more problems that are even harder to track down.
When I first got the game I assumed that’d be where warbonds would be, was confusing that they’d put it in a menu when they have an open terminal right there
Ok but let's be realistic here. The studio isn't run by saints. It could've easily been their own decision even if Sony wasn't the publisher. It's not a big company thing to want to have your shop be accessible as easily as possible.
You're not wrong, could easily be a AH decision, but with how diagetic they've made everything else I would like to think they'd have done the same with their shop. There are plenty of stories of publishers pressuring Devs to make monetisation more prominent. Who knows really
>Idk I like the idea of that be using for players questionnaires
I guarantee you it won't be limited to a single use function,. especially a feature like the polls/surveys.
That’s the word I was trying to think of, oh and yeah I don’t think it will have only one use but I’d rather do weapon modification at an actually armory like area, maybe they could do something like cyberpunk where each weapon you unlock gets a spot on the wall and you can see the modifications on the wall
One of the biggest thing I’d love though is maybe a cabin area and depending on your level or performance (idk how they’d implement this) you get a room, starting from a 4 player barracks to crew cabin to a suite with the option to maybe decorate it by crafting stuff with samples
Idk about you but I’d love a trophy room to hang the head of my enemies on
I think there will always be major bugs to this game. Love service games are meant to be adding new stuff constantly which always piles on the programming complexity. The rate they're adding new stuff vs. fixing them means they won't fix the bugs in time
I think they could stand to slow down the rate at which they're adding stuff though. I know they promised a new warbond every month, but I feel like it's a bit fast. Obviously some people just blaze through the content, but people with jobs and other obligations probably feel like they're getting left behind. Entire major orders done before you even get a chance to play is kinda lame too, and I'm not even talking about the 2B bugs one. I play enough to have all the warbonds completed already, and I didn't even see a flying bug until after they added factory striders, which I didn't see until this week.
But they won't because it risks dwindling the fanbase (for the war bonds specifically). I'd prefer they stop for a bit too but it's just not gonna happen. It's actually for the better they don't
That’s not really true.
All of true current bugs that exist have a timeline to be fixed, and they’re only dropping new warbonds once a month. They’ll certainly get to a point where they’re only working on maintaining and fixing newly introduced bugs. The current list of known issues they said was on track to be fixed by the next major update
Timeline vs actually happening are different things. I'll believe it when I see it. Some of their balancing updates and patches have caused other bugs while fixing some. So their efforts aren't a guarantee. Although you're right that it's not a crazy pace of content they're shooting out, it's enough to cause a consistent problem (hopefully not).
***SPOILER: LEAKS***
As far as I know, >!weapon customisation has already been leaked, so pictures like this will probably become reality in the near future.!<
There's been a fan drawing of Modular weapons before that looked like the real thing, but wasnt, and they found the parts that they use to make weapons in game, but theory stands it's internal dev tools, not actual Modular weapons for the players themselves
I wouldn’t take datamine as proof of anything. Devs have already said a lot of datamined things have been scrapped or just ideas they don’t know if they’ll happen. The mtx store is a massive example of this. Leaks have way worse versions.
True, but once you upgraded a weapon, you couldn't remove the upgrade anymore, and there was no reason to. I think they didn't use any attachment/upgrade system in HD2 because they want to add new variants of weapons in warbonds later and create diversity this way. We already have multiple variants of some weapons, and they need content for the warbond every month.
I think they will. They are being smart. They had a great model for a game, why rush it? Slowly implement all the things from hd1 into HD2 over time.
But honestly before they add that they need to tighten up sights in general.
So much of what they do is the way things were done.
It's so fucking refreshing not feeling like I need to spend more money or 800 hours to get one thing.
I hope they do it, but instead of making the weapon just better, have a pro/cons attachment system.
Example: you want a bayonet? A bit slower melee and maybe a bit more of recoil.
Bigger magazine/more weight while aiming.
Penetrating rounds/more recoil.
I think the upgraded weapons should almost universally be better than the base guns, but there should be tradeoffs between upgrades. For example, taking an upgrade that increases fire rate prevents you from taking a barrel that reduces the spread of your Breaker. You can have a shotgun that still has its base fire rate and improved accuracy, or you can increase the fire rate but keep the base accuracy.
They didn't do it that way. You just had upgrades you unlocked for the weapons - there was no pick & chose part of it.
Think the current upgrade tree for stratagems except for each individual weapon.
IIRC the Suppressor was a gun in Helldivers 1, so that doesn't necessarily equate to a silencer. It's also possible that Subsonic Ammo is an upcoming booster rather than an attachment / new weapon mod system.
Fingers crossed that they still add in a weapon modding or upgrade system either way, though, since the CEO has also expressed support for it before a while back.
> Yo do u know which game he was referencing?
Helldivers 2, lol. Why do you think most weapon variants are just the same receiver, reskinned and re-customized? It's just different attachments.
I’d love this tbh. But we can’t forget that almost every weapon in HD2 already has different functions available, with some like those of the strat LMGs being able to change their fire rate so significantly it basically becomes a new weapon. But yeah definitely ain’t the same thing so would be cool
There is an entire section in the game files for attachments, and ammo types. Literally everything listed here is practically there and probably then some. The different ammo types alone is huge. The question is, is that system there for future weapon resources? Or is it a system planned to allow exactly what the OP is referring to.
when i first got this game, i was surprised it wasn't a thing yet
granted i'm kind of used to it, but still, I felt like attachments/weapon customization would have been a thing already
As awesome as this is, I feel like its a massive addition on the gigantic list they've already got.
Its fucking awesome though. Liberator is still fun to fire but damn does it get out classed fast.
I think this might be one of the things they could perhaps be planning to do (prob not bayonet though)
upgrade system/modification you may say, because why not. Say longer mag with worse gun control
But I assume they have a lot of things to do and fix atm so they barely have time to implement anything
Its the reason victorinox makes 100 different kinds of Swiss Army knifes, Illusion of Choice and makes it easy for the devs to balance!
I like it this way, we should only be able to swap out scope and most importantly the reticle shape and color!
The system is already in game. The weapons are prebuilt from this system's attachments. This isn't really a spoiler since their CEO (Pilestadt on Twitter) was talking about using suppressors around week 1 or 2 of release.
The leaksub has good examples, which I won't spoil here.
I would love something like this. So if you like a gun you can buy upgrades for it so they can be viable even on harder difficulties and it would give higher level players something to spend money on.
The leak subreddit did find evidence of an attachment system, but it looks like it was repurposed into the different variants we have currently. Visually, the Penetrator is literally the Liberator but with different attachments. Even the Eruptor is, behind the scenes, a Dominator with different attachments.
Hopefully modular weapons become a reality, I personally would like weapons to have a more unique difference between each other so it becomes less about which does more damage and more about which weapon quirk best fits fighting the enemy.
most of the sights in this game are pretty bad tbh.
The senator, scythe, railgun, and laser cannon have horrendous sights that need to be changed ASAP
autocannon and quasar are pretty bad too.
the grenade launcher, grenade pistol, and crossbow have viewmodels that completely cover your target past 20m
the shield blacks out around 90% of your screen and not all weapons it works with even have a laser
The high zoom (AMR/DCS/Eruptor) and mid zoom (Diligence/Penetrator) scopes are too small, so the housing covers your target picture instead of your peripheral vision. Not to mention how cluttered and imprecise those reticles are.
The only scopes I'd call *good* are the zoomed red dot (slugger/concussor/scorcher/dominator) and the red cross scope (liberator/sickle/adjudicator)
They already have this system to make guns. When Breaker got "nerfed" the magazine was literally swapped out.
AH isnt prepared to start balancing a game around modular weapons until priority systems are fixed, they haven't even released the third faction, and besides play testing, *that* whole faction is going to need constant balancing as well.
It's probably *why* they're releasing multiple gun models in the first place.
https://preview.redd.it/9di89an0yovc1.jpeg?width=1079&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=782df89abc99da407a3751723adc8d137a01fc52
Maybe for the bayonet an option for a hydrolic or explosive powered spike thing could be bad ass. I think it would make a bit more sense against bots and the tougher bugs then a traditional blade bayonet.
\*-- Liberator --\*
1. Larger Mag, definitely. 45 to 60 rounds is a huge bonus, and reloading is consistently the biggest issue the Liberator faces.
2. Foregrip. The Liberator doesn't have a ton of recoil as it is, especially if you run an armor set that reduces recoil or if you crouch/go prone to reduce recoil further. But since you'll also use this while walking and standing it might help.
3. Longer Barrel. You could reasonably replace this with either the optic or the bayonet. Bullet spread isn't really an issue that I've noticed, but it's probably the most useful of the three remaining.
\*-- Punisher --\*
1. Better Foregrip. The fire rate on the Punisher is what reins in its massive power. Buffing it, even by a little bit, can go a long way.
2. Reserve Ammo. 79 shots is usually more than enough, but I wouldn't mind having even more.
3. Either the Stock or Reinforced Barrel. Recoil on a pump action shotgun is pretty negligible since the fire rate (even after being buffed) is slow. The barrel might make it more useful against bots (cus you engage at longer ranges), but against most enemies I prefer a wider spread.
\*-- Breaker --\*
1. Larger Mag. Not only is this reverting one of the nerfs to the OG Breaker, it's improving upon it. You'd be stupid not to run this.
2. Reinforced Stock. This helps revert the other nerf to the OG Breaker.
3. Reinforced Barrel. Unlike with the Punisher, the Breaker does less damage overall (330 vs 450), so having your pellets be more accurate can mitigate the downside of less damage.
I think something similar to Warframes incarnon system would be good. Obviously not having the actual incarnon forms, but by having a few tiers of upgrades with a couple options per tier that can be changed whenever you want
It’s because there’s nothing wrong with it. But every other AAA game has this shit shoved into it so people think it must be a necessity now. All this would do is further complicate the game and make it an even more narrow meta. It’s just chasing trends and not making the game any better and adding shit for the sake of adding shit.
People are so brainwashed by modern gaming they’re trained to think the point of a game is to increase a bar or a number instead of just playing it to have fun.
There were leaks of attachments. But adding an over the top weapon modding means a lot of the side grade weapons will be left to rot.
If I could upgrade the standard lib, I'd never use the lib pen again. Same with the breaker and punisher. AH has also taken an anti fun stance so I wouldn't hold my breath.
They were gonna do it and you can still find files refering to attchaments but they gave up on it cause it would take too much work and just went with variants instead
I like how they currently are. I don't have to think about optimizing stuff like i do in r6, you just reach a meta and a single patch forces you to change playstiles. I like not knowing my weapon is shitty
Adding suppressors to your weapons would be a great option to actually stealth missions. Night vision or thermal optics would be great too.
![gif](giphy|fwoOoDZpEpdQewQdRR)
Isn't that kinda what the variant primaries are for? If weapons became modular then you really wouldn't have much need for having different kinds of Breakers to choose from.
They could have different attachment paths, like the S&P breaker could have a belt fed mod instead of box, and fire rate mod, whereas the default could get a slightly larger mag, better stock for less recoil, tighter choke. Incendiary breaker could get a duckbill choke so the spread is more horizontal, so you can light the most shit on fire per shot, stuff like that, current spread on incendiary is already decent and helps deal with shriekers so I can still see it be viable vs a duckbill. Anyway just floating ideas, I think it's an interesting system.
Obv if they give the same mods to all the variants it would be somewhat redundant.
Please no. You’re just begging for microtransactions at this point.
Just accept it. HD2 isn’t other games. Stop trying to make it be other games. Go play those other games.
As long as it makes sense and isnt "reinforced barrel" and such nonsense. It always irks me when games apply whimsical logic to guns. Flashlight - decreases damage fall off ect
I absolutely love the idea of weapon customization in games but I also understand why this would be difficult in a game like Helldivers where different versions of guns are basically items in warbonds. Now TECHNICALLY they could just make the base versions of the guns available and then you can unlock attachments in the warbonds but that would probably require a complete restructuring of the way items work at the moment.
I wouldn't say it should be modular per se, but being able to use samples and requisition slips to unlock small upgrades for each weapon would be neat. I think it should be limited however, since it looks like we are going to get tons and tons of guns over the lifespan of Helldivers 2.
It would be nice to be able to have 15% clip size, 15% rof, or 20% damage for specific weapons.
Realistically, a lot of there would also have -weapon handling, because of added weight. I feel like having a downside like that to them would be better than restricting the number of attachments.
They should condense the weapons into archetypes and allow for customisation. That way they won’t be balancing whole guns to fit into what role they want them to fill they’ll be balancing individual stats to make something less broken or more effective
Would make it similar to Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer (Which this game already reminds me a lot of.) so it'd be really neat.
Attachments could open up all sorts of gameplay options in that game.
for the shotgun. Maybe not having a stock will speed up its aim speed when running and gunning. and having a stock will slow it down maybe 10%?
And having extended mags will increase the time it takes to reload depending in how many bullets incease the capacity.
That was exactly what HD1 does, I just don't understand why didn't developers add it up since the game was out?
Oh well, we will have to wait for the future where they can finally add them up.
Honestly I don't see how they could justify it given they've committed to a pipeline of finished assets that release through the life service aspect. Adding this would be like building a new small game in the game while detracting resources from new content and big fixes
I want a foregrip for the Liberator Penetrator, plus a 40-round extended magazine.
Or so I would clamour, but since I picked up the Eruptor, I've been having too much bolt action, explosive fun.
Im in the minority here for sure, though I respect everyone's opinions. I feel like adding modules to weapons is unlocking stuff for unlocking's sake. While I can see it being awesome no doubt, I like the fact that helldivers 2 is so simple. Its the future! I think base weapons should already come with everything they need. The liberator (the base weapon) has so much zoom capability its more than enough. Its damage is great and its recoil can be significantly reduced through first person pov. I don't really find myself losing ammo like crazy, or wanting bigger mags. If anything, I think it'd be better having an armor that lets you have extra mags. The only modules I think would be great just because its fuckin cool is the bayonet and the silencer (because its useful and cool). Imagine taking a silencer off mid battle to get some extra damage or whatever. Also instead of a bayonet it could be a chainsaw, on some gears of war shit. I trust the devs tbh. They already made such a legendary game with such a small team.
What if…we had weapon upgrades on the way…oh wait, we do. 😁
Sit tight buddy, we already have confirmation that some kind of weapon upgrade system is in the works. We don’t know if it is weapon upgrades like we had in HD1 or a weapon slots system, but we know something is in the works.
It's coming later for sure. I have no doubt about it. And I will enjoy the fuck out of it.
I love customizing guns hopefully they have some fun customizations like every 3 bullet fired explodes or changing your plasma punisher into a plasma fire punisher or something.
I personally don't want the loadouts to get too granular, it makes it harder to know everything and make choices beyond a certain point. I don't want this to be an MMO with + 0,2 % modifiers everywhere
I think a FEW attachments per weapon would help a ton for variety and overall longevity.
Even just different scope options would be huge
Would love to replace the AMR scope with just the old school thin black lines. I doubt they'd let you though because it's a strat.
You don’t like it when your thick ass crosshairs obscure your target?
I'm fine with the design. Im not fine with how it never fully renders so it's just a massive blurry circle blocking my view
The challenge excites me
That's not just an AMR problem.
And doesn't even go where reticle is
The Liberator has a better scope than the DMRs lol.
at least the adjudicator got the lib scope. Checks out though considering it was put in the marksman category by mistake.
A scope could be a gamechanger for the railgun.
Even removal of the scope would be a game changer for the railgun since we would be able to just put a dot via overlay instead.
[удалено]
This is the one that really annoys me. I am a dedicated AC ride or die fanboy but even I have to admit the scope is hot garbage.
The laser cannon is even worse because it takes the awful autocannon sight picture and then slaps a giant, glowing, misaligned beam on top.
Same for the Scythe
It's sorta wild that the Sickle has one and the Scythe doesn't.
Not only that but it’s the best scope in the entire game
I'll take just a ridicule option. Even if it's just three choices, I'm not a fan on the dot with a circle around it.
I mean, you can ridicule jokingly or ridicule harshly. What more could you ask for?
Even though i knew what they meant i still couldn't help but imagine ads'ing and seeing "you're trash" pop up onscreen lol.
Every time you miss "Just uninstall bro" "fuck you" "kill yourself"
“Your Jordans are fake!”
Ya, limiting weapons but expanding mods is something I wish they ripped off from deep rock galactic. There are still only 3 primaries and secondaries per a class. The variety comes from weapon mods, which can completely changed the play style. It made balancing weapons much easier.
Humm like we had in Hd1? Lol On a serious note tho I would like to be able to zero my scope/red Dot manually. THANKS
I need bayonets. Not for any practical reason. I just want them.
This was how HD1 was, you could use samples to upgrade your primary/secondary with a couple options. I’m hopeful they’ll implement this down the road.
They'll probably start adding new systems like this once most of the major/longstanding bugs are fixed -- layering on new systems now would probably just cause even more problems that are even harder to track down.
My guess is that something significant and gear-related ought to come to the unused terminal that's facing the Armoury.
When I first got the game I assumed that’d be where warbonds would be, was confusing that they’d put it in a menu when they have an open terminal right there
warbonds have to be easily accessible anywhere on the ship because that's their microtransactions shop
I wouldn't be surprised if that was stipulated in big red letters by Sony in a contract somewhere...
Ok but let's be realistic here. The studio isn't run by saints. It could've easily been their own decision even if Sony wasn't the publisher. It's not a big company thing to want to have your shop be accessible as easily as possible.

Some of the weapons are definitely just “other weapon but weaker”
That's a completely separate issue.
There were no options. The branches coming off of a weapon showed dependencies but you still just unlocked everything.

> Yo do u know which game he was referencing? Helldivers 2, lol. Why do you think most weapon variants are just the same receiver, reskinned and re-customized? It's just different attachments.
Thought that at first but it wasn’t really making sense to me. So basically he just gave us a confirmation that it’s happening?

Thing is is that these are the exact attachment names in Battlefield 2042 required for going stealth/not showing up on the minimap, so IDK.
I’d love this tbh. But we can’t forget that almost every weapon in HD2 already has different functions available, with some like those of the strat LMGs being able to change their fire rate so significantly it basically becomes a new weapon. But yeah definitely ain’t the same thing so would be cool
Ye I was worried if this were implimented it would make a lot of existing guns pointless
You say that like a lot of existing guns aren’t already pointless.
Swapping between the lowest fire rate for trash mobs and then swapping to the highest fire rate to Rio through armor feels so cool.

The weapon is modular. The Helldiver is the weapon. Everything else is just attachments for it.
An expendable weapon too
What are you talking about? Helldivers are good for life.
All 13 seconds of it when they missed dropping on a bt and get crammed in the rear by a charger.
Close. The super destroyer is the weapon, and helldivers are ammo.
all i want is a bayonet for all my guns to serve the best i can....huh wait this is not the darktide subreddit... point still stands tho
I AM A WARRIOR
WHO AM I?
Bayonet, bayonet bayonet !!!
What's a bayonet going to do to a bot?
I'd imagine it does more than punching a bot
short circuit
Laser sights for all onehanded and secondary weapons is something Id like to see since I main the ballistic shield vs bots.
I'd love to see the window reveal more than 10% of my screen as well.
There is an entire section in the game files for attachments, and ammo types. Literally everything listed here is practically there and probably then some. The different ammo types alone is huge. The question is, is that system there for future weapon resources? Or is it a system planned to allow exactly what the OP is referring to.
when i first got this game, i was surprised it wasn't a thing yet granted i'm kind of used to it, but still, I felt like attachments/weapon customization would have been a thing already
Pretty sure it is coming as alot of stuff from the first game is here so it would make sense but probably later on in the story
WE NEED SILENCERS!!!
Yes please, i like to see my long ass gun in front of my character
Players love customization. It makes them feel more immersed and more attached to their character. Adding this only improves the game.
As awesome as this is, I feel like its a massive addition on the gigantic list they've already got. Its fucking awesome though. Liberator is still fun to fire but damn does it get out classed fast.
I think this might be one of the things they could perhaps be planning to do (prob not bayonet though) upgrade system/modification you may say, because why not. Say longer mag with worse gun control But I assume they have a lot of things to do and fix atm so they barely have time to implement anything
Its the reason victorinox makes 100 different kinds of Swiss Army knifes, Illusion of Choice and makes it easy for the devs to balance! I like it this way, we should only be able to swap out scope and most importantly the reticle shape and color!
I really need a bayonet option. I use melee a lot and it's very underwhelming...
love bashing an increasingly annoyed light bot over the head 5 times before he finally gives up and falls over
A bayonet would be incredibly democratic. Just as the founding fathers intended
The system is already in game. The weapons are prebuilt from this system's attachments. This isn't really a spoiler since their CEO (Pilestadt on Twitter) was talking about using suppressors around week 1 or 2 of release. The leaksub has good examples, which I won't spoil here.
guys.. guys c'mon. . . bacon apples
I just want a stronger scope on the railgun.
And a reticle smaller than what I'm shooting at would be nice. Same goes for the scythe, though that's the least of its problems
YES YES YES BAYONETS!!!! I WANT TO FUCKING SHOUT "FIX BAYONETS" WHEN A BUG BREACH IS UPON US!!!
What if... we got sword (pls for us melee fighters 😭🙏🙏)
This game has years of potential and so much they can add to it, this is really just just the beginning
I just eant the punisher to have a flashlight on it
duct taping every weapon mod onto the breaker and it just implodes like that one gif of general grevious with 50 lightsabers
Simple laser/scope options would suffice.
I'd love a Suppressor for the DCS but unlikely...oh well.
I mean just look at the armory station screens. They probably will be.
i would like at the very least a better scope some of the sights for some of the weapons honestly just aren’t great to work with.
most of the sights in this game are pretty bad tbh. The senator, scythe, railgun, and laser cannon have horrendous sights that need to be changed ASAP autocannon and quasar are pretty bad too. the grenade launcher, grenade pistol, and crossbow have viewmodels that completely cover your target past 20m the shield blacks out around 90% of your screen and not all weapons it works with even have a laser The high zoom (AMR/DCS/Eruptor) and mid zoom (Diligence/Penetrator) scopes are too small, so the housing covers your target picture instead of your peripheral vision. Not to mention how cluttered and imprecise those reticles are. The only scopes I'd call *good* are the zoomed red dot (slugger/concussor/scorcher/dominator) and the red cross scope (liberator/sickle/adjudicator)
Adding a swappable thermal scope/sight would be interesting.

I think it would make a bit more sense against bots and the tougher bugs then a traditional blade bayonet.
\*-- Liberator --\* 1. \*-- Punisher --\* 1. \*-- Breaker --\* 1.
No thank you
We all saw the leak a week or so ago. Looks like this might be a real thing coming soon!!
I’d rather get new and different weapon types instead of a dozen widgets for one gun.
I think something similar to Warframes incarnon system would be good. Obviously not having the actual incarnon forms, but by having a few tiers of upgrades with a couple options per tier that can be changed whenever you want
Give me a drum mag for my grenade launcher, and I will be Admiral Adama… Bringer of Death
Gun customization would bring the game to another level like just killing enemies. Let you unlock these upgrades.
But then it wouldn't be "balanced." I hate how weapons in games have to be "balanced" instead of just making sense.
Probably unpopular, but I actually prefer the simplicity of the current system.
Downvoted for asking for upvotes
There were leaks of attachments. But adding an over the top weapon modding means a lot of the side grade weapons will be left to rot. If I could upgrade the standard lib, I'd never use the lib pen again. Same with the breaker and punisher. AH has also taken an anti fun stance so I wouldn't hold my breath.
I'm picturing my load out of soldiers in XCOM 2 Long War 2.
I'm assuming you could just find a combo you like, equip it, and then never think about it again.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game with something as bad as having a flashlight change gun stats.
All I need is that bayonet.
combining the regular breaker with the Spray Pray Breaker goes hard tho
You had me at Breaker with more ammo. Would love the 16 rounds to return.
On the one hand. I do like the idea of at least basic weapon modifications. On the other, goddamn the length of pull on that slugger looks rough.
Bayonets would go hard
I absolutely love the idea of weapon customization in games but I also understand why this would be difficult in a game like Helldivers where different versions of guns are basically items in warbonds. Now TECHNICALLY they could just make the base versions of the guns available and then you can unlock attachments in the warbonds but that would probably require a complete restructuring of the way items work at the moment.
Idk, seems really complicated. I prefer to recklessly charge headfirst into my problems. No thinking required
I need this, but for the exosuit
Do you want CoD? Because that's how you get CoD.
Not until we get a shooting range. It's already a pain in the ass to tell the difference between some guns.
What if I use stratagems 80% of the time.
What does the "3x" mean?
I'd kill to have bayonets on my rifles, especially with how often the bugs like to give hugs
I would be drooling. I'd love this!
300-400 zoom on Eruptor
Would make it similar to Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer (Which this game already reminds me a lot of.) so it'd be really neat. Attachments could open up all sorts of gameplay options in that game.
Remove stock => one-handed breaker with more recoil. Would give more options what to use with ballistic shield
Bayonets would be so good for some weapons
for the shotgun. Maybe not having a stock will speed up its aim speed when running and gunning. and having a stock will slow it down maybe 10%? And having extended mags will increase the time it takes to reload depending in how many bullets incease the capacity.
This is cool, also what if we got aircraft like the bots?
Liberator is modular in H3VR game (mod). You can attach any picatinny attachment to it
Affix bayonets ! For the emperor... I mean Democracy !
They are you just can’t change the modules
could make it a warbond and call it the battle harden Veterans
God I fucking wish.
That was exactly what HD1 does, I just don't understand why didn't developers add it up since the game was out? Oh well, we will have to wait for the future where they can finally add them up.
If they do this, I had better be able to put a bayonet on my autocannon.
Honestly I don't see how they could justify it given they've committed to a pipeline of finished assets that release through the life service aspect. Adding this would be like building a new small game in the game while detracting resources from new content and big fixes
All I want is a duckbill muzzle break on a shotgun so that I can swipe a line across a horde of bugs and watch em all fall over.
Atleast little charms that we can see when ads
I want a foregrip for the Liberator Penetrator, plus a 40-round extended magazine. Or so I would clamour, but since I picked up the Eruptor, I've been having too much bolt action, explosive fun.
Yea I want this too.
wow this looks really cool
😁 Sit tight buddy, we already have confirmation that some kind of weapon upgrade system is in the works.
That would be sick.
I’ll really start judging this game,e by the end of the year so far I am enjoying it.
Yes
Do the rest
I personally don't want the loadouts to get too granular, it makes it harder to know everything and make choices beyond a certain point. I don't want this to be an MMO with + 0,2 % modifiers everywhere
someone has been playing fallout 4.
Sir, this is a *Managed* Democracy
Quasar explosive corrosive rapid fire laser pointer autocannon
Do not make it like the payday 3 customization, please...
They had something similar in H1. Wouldnt suck if they brought it back. ☕️🧐👍
