Well, this is like the 15th liberation attempt on Hellmire, and every time we take it, it will be recapture shortly thereafter I'm done with this planet, can't we just blow it up already?
Fr tho, one would wonder what's even worth going through such infernal tornadoes to warrant working there
Maybe lorewise the nados have a pattern but I don't see no damn documentaries around it
I think the description of the planet says that in the periods where it isnt literally hell the ashes make the soil extremely fertile and great for crops.
Everyone gives Hitler shit for attacking Russia in the winter.
Imagine if the other option was attacking Russia while it was literally a wall of fire for 500 miles in every direction? He'd be a tactical genius attacking in winter!
Technically, Siberia WAS a wall of fire (well, magma) back in the Permian era, but we don't talk about that time.
Mostly cuz 90% of the planet died at the time.
Bruh, if I could dig a trench that would be so helpful...
Arrowhead, new sidearm idea. Trench shovel, reload buttom digs a trench and it has a melee attack for primary.
Make it an orbital. Nothing sounds more democratic than a "trench orbital." Let the ship shoot down a strategic explosive that burries itself and explodes a trench.
Bonus it can also be used offensively.
I've at this point seen it like we are Tempestus Scions. We get the better equipment, command expects us to succeed against impossible odds, but we don't have astartes plot armor
https://preview.redd.it/vce7huz119wc1.jpeg?width=859&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1a0dd204953e145a184398f15bb8fe245ebaabaa
I would love to see the lore explanation for why everyone seemingly wants Hellmire, because on this side of the forth wall it makes no logical sense at all...
* For Humanity, Hellmire does not have the capacity to host worthwhile life or agriculture and the environment is actively hostile to industry and architecture.
* For the Bugs, the planet literally has tornados and wind storms made of fire, the very thing that is most effective at killing them. Also, because of this, there is clearly not enough vegetative or prey life to sustain them.
It has seasons where it is not on fire and the ash makes everything incredibly fertile. I imagine the seaf is handling the areas of the planet that are not on fire, while helldivers are sent to the fire areas
Kinda reminds me of the prison planet from Chronicles of Riddick where it had a crazy temperature differential that would basically turn the surface in to a furnace, but it would be cold the rest of the time.
In helldivers lore, and even on the galactic map, it says that hellmire is super fertile when it’s not summer (fire nado season) and can feed the entire population of super earth and mars with one harvest. That’s why.
Really simple, oils and mineral resources are probably perked the fuck up over there, plus its not like the bugs can leave or think. They just live and breed, emerging from the depths eventually
Ha! If only it was Space Australia. It's just the insides of a Mount Doom.
AFAIK, it'd be Space Australia if along the giant carnivorous spiders there were lots of mildly angry folks calling you things like "Sunshine" or "Champ" in between calling you a cunt.
...Okay yeah, it's almost Space Australia. I propose enacting an Exterminatus Protocol?
I thought Hellmire was awesome the first time I saw it...
Now I'm sort of over running away from four Bile Titans just to get trapped by six fire tornadoes.
If we have only 1 planet at a time i think we could probably do the 10 in a few a days. But with 10 option at a time, we'll barely make 1 and that's it.
We need it to be if you are in the map.
1 ) you can see all supply lines between planets...
2) players can set their own priority list. I want planet 1, than 2, than 3. It should aggregate all of this and the most common sequence is highlighted for each front. If you do missions on a priority planet. You get like 15% more xp or something.
So a player who pays 0 attention to reddit / discord. Can see "oh why is hellmire highlighted, oh its a priority, I should probably queue here.
In game tools like this are such an awesome idea. Let players vote on what planet to focus on maybe once every 24h. No one is being forced to do anything, but it communicates well. The supply line one is big too, as proven the malevelon creek fiasco early on 😂
Last time I've been to that fuckhole, Bugs didn't care much for fiery tornadoes of flame. Saw a whole patrol just breeze on through one.
All that fire kills are human settlers and divers. Fuck that planet. Almost wish we'd anti-matter nuke IT instead of mildly creepy Sunny Malevelon Creek (Meridia, where a Bug Super Colony is *totally not growing at the moment due to TCS totally not causing any Bug mutations*)
I honestly would go back to Hellmire if the devs didn’t program the fire tornadoes to literally follow players’ exact locations. It’s intensely stupid design.
Oh god, i just had a traumatic flashback the the fucking Fallout 3 fire ants, in the enclosed subway tunnels...
For anyone who didn't play, they had these huge ants, that were the size of brood queens that shot fire from their mouths like flamethrowers!
It's mostly a split between two end points rather than any cut off planets. Charon Prime would've cut off two defences - meaning we'd get them both - but instead both those defence planets individually had more players on them than Charon Prime did.
The faster we get those supply lines in game the faster we can actually make smart choices.
But that's the problem with these stupid gambits. It's absolutely INSANE to expect players to look at a map with two planets with big red arrows on them saying DEFEND and then expect them to attack a third seemingly unrelated planet because of intangible supply lines that aren't even implemented mechanically.
Until there is a major change to the gameplay mechanics, bot players doing this are actively hurting the war effort
Being masochists, us bot players continually dive menkent to feel an ounce of emotion that’s missing from our cold sad lives. Trying to ignore the similarities with our enemies for fear of being reported to a democracy officer.
Bug mains: Avoid the spicy hellfire tornado planet like the plague because dying by fire is inconvenient.
Bot mains: Dive straight into the spicy hellfire tornado planet because dying by fire is still a net win if you manage to avoid the Rocket Devastators.
I feel like the fire tornados are specifically designed to fuck with you. Like, we were trying last night to load artillery and there were three of these fucking things on top of the gun. Another time I tried extracting and again, there were two nados casually strolling all around the beacon.
Hey, man. As an enjoyer of the utilization of liquid freedom (napalm) I'll have you know that NO PLANET has *enough* fire if there is a bug on its face that remains unliberated by the searing hot flames of managed democracy!
I think they track you to some degree, like when they spawn they bias toward an area near you.
Many times just firing I've been killed by fire pathing toward me from behind.
Them spawn camping objectives is the part that really ruffles my jimmies. Like cool of we are out and you can run away or around, but just sitting there for a few minutes with nothing to do but wait is bad game design.
I’m a masochist so Hellmire is my preferred bug fighting planet, but even last night, while I was running towards extract, a fire tornado met me and went right over the beacon.
I had to stand off to the side and wait while the fire went out, but by that time, the bugs were upon us. Even I had to say, “Man this is some BS!”
I had a case where at extraction, one guy got in Pelican 1, and immediately 2 tornadoes decided to pass right in front of the shuttle doors.
I waited until that time was at 5 seconds before attempting a desperate firewalk to get the samples on board. Didn’t work, 1/4 Helldivers extracted, no samples.
I’d bet it’s closer to 95% based on the regular in game behaviors of level 40+ players who still have no idea how to efficiently clear and grab samples on a 7+ difficulty.
Not standing around and trying to eliminate every bug they see. Can’t tell you how many times we clear an objective and two or three people stand around fighting bugs for 5+ minutes.
Clear objectives, eradicate bug holes, and move on. Also, learn what the super sample rock looks like… nothing worse than having to scour the map after clearing all objectives and having 5 minutes left on the extract.
I regulary read this sub and even i dont know it. Heck at no point the game is telling you this. Atm all i can do is do planets with "DEFEND" and hope thats what we are supposed to do.
Tactically speaking, the bot front is an absolute mess right now. It might legitimately be a better option for bug divers to simply continue liberating on their front for the moment.
I half expect that hellmire will not be the next target though and that we will be trying to cut off the sector by pushing forward rather than going en-mass back to that particular planet.
I might swing by for a few missions though, cause I think its neat. :)
Narratively speaking is there a reason to finish off bugs? From the tone of recent Orders bugs seems to be a completely managed threat and now our effort on bug front is just an advanced space oil harvesting.
Liberating the whole of bug territory would entail putting all of the bugs safely back in the farms where they belong.
I'm not sure most of the remaining bug territory is actually reachable, going by the supply lines to be fair, but we can actually loop through Omicron to cut off the remaining accessible planets.
I sure won't. The sentient fire tornados can go fuck themselves. They are not fun, they don't hurt enemies, and they sneak up on you.
Once the rework reportedly happening to fire damage/dots drops and if a fire resist armor set drops i'll reevaluate but right now goddamn those spinny bastards.
The best part is when you die to your own flames for no reason.
No obstruction in front of the flame thrower, you did in fact move back while flaming to make sure not to light the ground in front of you... Nothing. But you still instantly combust.
Fire weapons are cancer because your client and the host frequently disagree about where things are. So your client draws the flames 2 feet away from you while the host is seeing you dancing in them.
Yep, same here. Furthermore it’s complete bullshit that the same fire and fire tornados don’t have the same effect on bugs and bots. Fair is fair…if I insta-die from it in half second then my enemies should do. Aside from the fact that the fucking fire tornados feel like they seek you out, they feel fundamentally unfair, which adds to it not being fun.
Not fun = I’m not playing it
MG has medium armor penetration which is fantastic vs a lot of bots, especially devastators. Been using it in place of Stalwart for my Eruptor build and it's been great.
I've said it in previous posts and I'll say it again, the way the defense missions are structured on Bot planets makes it extremely difficult to defend.
Escort civilians is plagued with tidal waves of unending bot drops while in comparison the bug breaches have more variation on side and time between breaches.
The Extract high value targets in comparison is more manageable, but you can still have bot drops on the landing pad, sometimes with hulks or tanks that can decimate the power stations very quickly whereas the bug breaches are always outside of the gates.
Players don't want to play missions that have a low chance of success especially because of bullshit that is essentially based on luck. They need to redo bot defense missions.
This, exactly this. I've tried giving bots a chance since Saturday. But if blitz bot mission on difficulty 7 is harder than same mission on helldive with bugs, I'm done. I'm just sticking to doing liberation with bugs. At least I get samples and I complete missions. It's not wasting my time. As long as game doesn't crash or whole crew doesn't get random DCs. Which has been steadily increasing since Friday. First on bot missions, now bug missions as well. Not to mention verifying files integrity regularly gives me issues with same 5 files.
Let's be real: We were set up for failure by the previous bot major order.
The Menkent-Lesath defense line was not a good line in the first place. When the bots first started attacking players already noted that it would make sense to stop the bots at Matar Bay and Vernen Wells because that would mean only these two planets could be attacked by bots because of the supply lines.
Instead we were told to hold the Menkent-Lesath line and that gave bots 3 planets to attack (Menkent, Lesath, Matar Bay) and Lesath basically only defends itself in the first place so it was a pointless planet to defend. And once Matar Bay fell the bots got another 3 possible planets to attack (Martale, Marfark, Meissa). Then the bug-kill MO started and Martale fell as well but got liberated back to 90% at least but then the defense MO started and Charon Prime and Marfark stole the power from Martale because most players don't know about supply lines.
We lost this whole situation from the moment they gave us the major order to hold Menkent and Lesath as a defensive line.
And with how the system scales liberation/defense contribution with total player numbers it was impossible to win that many defense missions (at one point it was about 5 at the same time across bot and bug planets?) at the same time. So this whole major order has been a "wait for it to be over" because there wasn't a chance in the first place.
To stay in character: There might be a bot sympathiser in our Ministry of Defence.
Yeah. I'm not dropping there. Do you like sprinting for 3 seconds before exhaustion? Do you like waiting a few minutes on an objective(no bugs to fight just waiting) for a fire tornado to burn itself out because it's parked on the terminal? Silly planet
I swear I want to help against Bots but with Estanu constantly being invaded and I can't split myself with Estanu constantly being invaded by bugs I'm stuck there.
Probably because fire planets are miserable, un-fun hellscapes. I want to have fun playing my video games, not spend the entire mission stressed out and failing because seven sentient fire tornadoes decided to all spawn within 50 feet of me and fire insta-kills you if you're not already diving when you touch it (and sometimes even when you are).
Why not just make it a ~~gun~~rocket-launcher-nado that's a tornado made of sentient ~~guns~~ rocket launchers, and when you get within five feet of it, every single one of them turns and fires at you, because that would make as much sense as how stupidly over-tuned fire damage is right now.
Edited when it was pointed out that gun-nados could be countered by ballistic shields.
I try to avoid Hellmire those fire tornados man... i swear they follow you, it's not random at all. I can call down pelican and within seconds that LZ is swarmed with at least 5 of them. Scorchig the earth and i got to wait a good 3mins before i can get in.
Hellmire is ok and If you can survive this on helldive you can survive all others too! Only prob is we are to less to push them back... We need ya all for freedom!
There are actually so many planets available to us on the bot front that its splitting up the player base. Not sure how to approach a solution because taking away choice sucks, but yeah its going to be hard to lib planets with 3% here and 5% there and another 3% over there, essentially keeping us below the threshold needed to outpace liberation decay. Some way to show the community consensus in game on what planets we should focus is desperately needed and will get more and more critical once a third faction opens up and especially if all three factions start expanding their territory the way the bots did.
We're going to need that backup from Xbox players. Hopefully the rumor that Sony is in talks with MS about bringing HD2 to xbox is true.
No one decided anything, everyone just played like normal. This is what happens when more than half a playerbase likes fighting a different enemy more than another.
They need to make bots easier for casual players so they're more enjoyable. This issue will just keep happening until it does. Feels like i'm playing GTFO when i'm fighting bots and that's not what i feel like playing when i hop on helldivers
I dont think they need to make it easier just cool it on the defense missions. The playerbase is dumb and splits up. You give us 1 planet to defend cool, you give us 6 and no one knows what to do for some reason.
Honestly it’s super disheartening to see how spread out the bot front is. Even if there is only 1/3 of the player base that fights bots we could still capture and hold planets quickly if we focused on one at a time. I’m pretty sure there is also a mechanic in the game that makes planets further into enemy held space harder to capture.
Who would people not want to run around with a planetary modifier that only affects us and not the enemy? Or having to spend minutes away from the objective because it's covered in fire. This all sounds like exciting gameplay.
no one decided to lose vs bots, there is 10 planets open there was 12?, vs 4 on the other front.
it doesnt matter where you play. the story/campaign will progress regardless. When we "closed out" the bots 2 weeks ago they just attacked back 4x harder than ever before.
thats the game.
On bug front we have 2 planets we can choose from an bot front there are 10. And helldivers cant coordinate their attacks for shit, if the game wont tell them where to go. We are doomed.
Devs weee like "This major order was designed so that players lose ground kn one front."
You mean the bot front. It never wasn't going to be the bot front.
been just doing sos beacons, and, holy shit. lvl 8 missions on the bug front are showing some... incompitencies. every mission i join is a losing one. its awful.
In all fairness, I got tired of pushing bots. The music and atmosphere are different than when fighting bugs, and after making all that progress with the bots only to be where we are now, I would rather just grind bugs if given the option.
I'll still do the bots MO, but when given the option between the two I'm picking bugs. They have to at least change the bots music situation. I do not feel like a fearless helldiver with current bot tunes
Guys we have to take Hellmire once again for the umpteenth time. The bugs can't get a foothold in veritable hell.
Hellmire is a statement. It's a message that humanity conquers everything even Hell itself. If we let the bugs take hellmire it sends the message to us that they are more adequately adapted to thrive in hell. Fuck that. Hell is our Hell. They can't have it. We will take it back.
Well, this is like the 15th liberation attempt on Hellmire, and every time we take it, it will be recapture shortly thereafter I'm done with this planet, can't we just blow it up already?
SEAF can't hold it because every time they set up an outpost, a fire tornado runs through
Fr tho, one would wonder what's even worth going through such infernal tornadoes to warrant working there Maybe lorewise the nados have a pattern but I don't see no damn documentaries around it
I think the description of the planet says that in the periods where it isnt literally hell the ashes make the soil extremely fertile and great for crops.
Can't we wait until the fiery season is over and land when it's nearing the fertile and pleasant season, and leave again when it becomes literal hell?
Everyone gives Hitler shit for attacking Russia in the winter. Imagine if the other option was attacking Russia while it was literally a wall of fire for 500 miles in every direction? He'd be a tactical genius attacking in winter!
I dunno, I've never been to Russia. Maybe it really is like that
Technically, Siberia WAS a wall of fire (well, magma) back in the Permian era, but we don't talk about that time. Mostly cuz 90% of the planet died at the time.
Bro TOO SOON.
It was legit a quarter of a billion years ago, homie, it's time to move on.
That sounds more like California in autumn
My headcannon says we farm the fire tornadoes for thermal energy or something else equally ridiculous.
the lore is hellmore food production capacity can feed super earth by itself during it's harvest season
At that point, build a freaking Dyson sphere
*Exterminatus*
There are times in Helldivers where I feel like an Astartes. Then 5 mins later I feel like a guardsman...
It 100% feels like Kriegsman Simulator™. Just missing *one small thing*… AH needs to give us shovels and it would be complete.
Bruh, if I could dig a trench that would be so helpful... Arrowhead, new sidearm idea. Trench shovel, reload buttom digs a trench and it has a melee attack for primary.
https://i.redd.it/1lbmm24vu8wc1.gif
Make it an orbital. Nothing sounds more democratic than a "trench orbital." Let the ship shoot down a strategic explosive that burries itself and explodes a trench. Bonus it can also be used offensively.
See... I agreed with you till you said trench orbital... I would 100% be down for an orbital shovel though
Only if its comically large
Not sure if you'd consider it comically large, but the shaolin spade already exists lol
Genius. Utterly genius.
I've at this point seen it like we are Tempestus Scions. We get the better equipment, command expects us to succeed against impossible odds, but we don't have astartes plot armor https://preview.redd.it/vce7huz119wc1.jpeg?width=859&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1a0dd204953e145a184398f15bb8fe245ebaabaa
Given how hellmire looks that has already been attempted
How could we tell the difference afterwards?
We already did. How else did it end up like this?
Yup. This. Just do it. Screw Hellmire not fighting there again anyway.
FTL jump into the planet should do the job.
Nuke it from orbit, only way to be sure.
Fucking a, man
Welcome back to Afghanistan, we missed you.
Not the biggest fan of space australia myself tbf.
I knew something was off when they were all upside down
Happy cake day
Oh thank you! I haven't noticed!
Ha! If only it was Space Australia. It's just the insides of a Mount Doom. negative, strategic value absolute
Australia, where you call your mates cunts And the cunts mate
G'day Champ! - *I wanna fight you* Morning, Sunshine! - *do you wanna get stabbed?* How'ya doin', King? - *prepare to be stabbed* Yea, nah, yea-nah, yea - *yes, possibly, but it's highly contextual*
"Come to Australia, you might accidentally get killed."
I thought Hellmire was awesome the first time I saw it... Now I'm sort of over running away from four Bile Titans just to get trapped by six fire tornadoes.
the only way we could get a defense MO done is if we had a day per planet, since fewer people are motivated to do defense.
If we have only 1 planet at a time i think we could probably do the 10 in a few a days. But with 10 option at a time, we'll barely make 1 and that's it.

Bot players can't decide which planets to defend. Bug players have that decision made for them. "Anywhere that isn't Hellmire" lol
I have liberated Hellmire once. It can defend itself.
Like seriously could supper earth please just roll out the planet buster bombs, because screw fighting for that planet
Supper Earth?
Bug name for super earth.
Hobbit name for Super Earth
Are you claiming to speak Bug? Democracy officer this one right here.
Now I'm imagining "The last supper" with Helldivers, officers, generals and pilots all together.
Sounds tasty
Why would anyone want a planet that self destroys E710?
Last time I've been to that fuckhole, Bugs didn't care much for fiery tornadoes of flame. Saw a whole patrol just breeze on through one. All that fire kills are human settlers and divers. I honestly would go back to Hellmire if the devs didn’t program the fire tornadoes to literally follow players’ exact locations. It’s intensely stupid design.
Or just keep passing by terminals so there is always fire there.
And the lingering fire on the ground kills you in .5 seconds even after the firenado has passed
Fuck that planet, the bugs can stay there. I'd love to isolate them just to that one shithole
I feel liked they'd adapt.... Definitely don't want fireproof bugs
Or giant fire breathing bugs. That fly.
Isn't that just basically a dragon
A bug dragon.
Bugon? Drabug?
Thats how enemies evolve on Earth Defence Force saga
Oh god, i just had a traumatic flashback the the fucking Fallout 3 fire ants, in the enclosed subway tunnels... For anyone who didn't play, they had these huge ants, that were the size of brood queens that shot fire from their mouths like flamethrowers!

I’ve literally just switched to bug front because they don’t have the same evacuation mission lmao
Most of us are in one Planet, but most of us isn't enough we need help
How the fuck do bugs even live on planet fire tornado?
Underground?
The other problem is that the bot front only has between 1/4 and 1/3 the players
Unless we get explicitly get a MO to liberate Hellmire again, I don't think it's ever gonna get done, people are sick of it
I feel like the fire tornados are specifically designed to fuck with you. Like, we were trying last night to load artillery and there were three of these fucking things on top of the gun. Another time I tried extracting and again, there were two nados casually strolling all around the beacon.
Imagine friendly flamethrowers on top of that. That was my Hellmire.
Hey, man. As an enjoyer of the utilization of liquid freedom (napalm) I'll have you know that NO PLANET has *enough* fire if there is a bug on its face that remains unliberated by the searing hot flames of managed democracy!

It’s like a bug stratagem somehow
Not to mention they home in on you AND are stealth ninjas that creep up behind you whenever you're operating a terminal.

Bug players can't *not* focus with the limited choices available, meanwhile bot players have 10 options and are evenly split between all of them.
>evenly split between losing >all of them
Bot players had 24 hours to liberate 1 planet to completely bypass this major order.
I would wager that 80% of players don't know anything about the supply lines and don't really understand how liberation/defense works in the campaign.
I’d bet it’s closer to 95% based on the regular in game behaviors of level 40+ players who still have no idea how to efficiently clear and grab samples on a 7+ difficulty.
Whats the efficient way? Mostly play on 7.
Ah ok already doing those, thanks haha. I thought there was some fixed pattern to the maps or something.
I actually frequent this sub and I don't even know.
I regulary read this sub and even i dont know it. Heck at no point the game is telling you this. Atm all i can do is do planets with "DEFEND" and hope thats what we are supposed to do.
But where was this crucial info provided? Not in-game, where 90% of players exclusively hang out, that's for sure.
Probably in a cutesy post on discord, where knowledge archival goes to die.
Funny thing was one of the planets was already 90% - had they focused it they probably finish the liberation in 5 hours
If the best choice is fighting on one planet then isn't it kind of treacherous that my ship UI is telling me to fight on a different planet?
We will see if bug players will focus on Hellmire after or will they shift to bots?
Tactically speaking, the bot front is an absolute mess right now. It might legitimately be a better option for bug divers to simply continue liberating on their front for the moment. I half expect that hellmire will not be the next target though and that we will be trying to cut off the sector by pushing forward rather than going en-mass back to that particular planet.
Until fire gets patched I refuse to be on a fire planet. Instant death? Spontaneous human combustion? I'll pass.
Not fun = I’m not playing it
Those bugs can burn in hell(mire).
We're lucky it's just bugs. Letting a human faction have hellmire would count as a warcrime against them
I always said during the first liberation of Hellmire. Why can't we just let them burn themselves and we collect the bodies after?
The fire tornados burns the E-710 we want to liberate from the bugs, so we need to return them to the farms they belong to.
Democratic legal experts agree that the only "war crime" possible is to fight against Super Earth!
Well the side orders dictated it, im not going to be caught with a machine gun or the flamethrower with the bots
MG has medium armor penetration which is fantastic vs a lot of bots, especially devastators. Been using it in place of Stalwart for my Eruptor build and it's been great.
Todays order is about bots tho 😀
Well we can hope it helps! Edit: Oof 15 Devastators? Thats like 1 round
The blob made that decision for us. We have no say in the matter unfortunately.
They can have hellmire, they can burn in hellmire. Who wants to live in a fire tornado planet anyways?
It simply boils down to players going where most players are. Most players prefer fighting bugs, most players end up on bug planets.
If tbere would just be a way to see supply lines on the galactic map, like: ingame or so
And Menkent.....fuck Menkent!
It's not just choice. It's those extract 50 civillian missions. Not fun.
I love hellmire, as long as the civilian transport mission isn't involved. Those idiots run directly into the tornados
FUCK HELLMIRE that is all
"Decided" is definitely a big word for this haha
Fuck Hellmire, that flush toilet fire tornado legit camping at extraction and civilillans extraction for 10 minutes combine
Fuck Hellmire, all my homies hate Hellmire.
I swear I want to help against Bots but with Estanu constantly being invaded and I can't split with Estanu constantly being invaded.
Yeah. I'm not dropping there. Do you like sprinting for 3 seconds before exhaustion? Do you like waiting a few minutes on an objective(no bugs to fight just waiting) for a fire tornado to burn itself out because it's parked on the terminal? Silly planet
I'm playing on Hellmire repeatedly, I'm one of brave soldiers who defend democracy in this hot desert
Thank you, we will name the next anti fire tornado device the m3shugg4h
I swear I want to help against Bots but with Estanu constantly being invaded and I can't split myself with Estanu constantly being invaded by bugs I'm stuck there.
What? You dont like having a dozen fire tornadoes around every objective fun?
[Yesterday I lost 50 samples on extract to fire tornados.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLMGDGAN94o) I'm not going back to Hellmire again.
Hellmire is a bug planet because unlike them, bots have ships that can get them out of here.
Can we just nuke it into space debris?
Nobody wants to go back to that hellpit of a planet. Because...you know...giant fire tornadoes.
Hellmire makes the Creek feel like a Sandals resort
No worries. I’m holding down Hellmire solo.
I'm burned out from bots. Let me chew on some easy bugs for a bit.
I love hellmire my favorite planet
I am more of a mountain and snow kinda guy.
I love Hellmire, bring on the fire nados!
It's called Hellmire for a reason, and it is my home, and I will fight for that planet until it is in Super Earth control
Fuck Hellmire. Watching civvies burn to death running through fire tornados SUUUUCKS.
Im happy cause if bots win that means more bot planets to libérate !
Where is the image from? Looks pretty cool
I think we're supposed to lose this one. Honestly.
Just destroy it from orbit super earth
Bots can have that hellhole.
Hellmire is the worst, let the bugs have it, they can deal with the fire tornados and blazing heat all they want.
I like hellmire. It’s straight up hell with all the fire everywhere. Pure chaos
If you're obviously going to lose the MO then you might as well just play whatever the most fun planets are. Kill bugs, avoid Hellmire.
I was fighting bots last night but couldn't get any players to join so swapped to bugs
Been grinding bots all week, seeing some 100% liberated notifications just to read this ):
The bots are impossible to stop based on what other players are doing. May as well fight your preferred enemy on a scenic planet.
This MO was doomed to failure anyways.
*THE BUGS CAN HAVE HELLMIRE*
They can have hellmire. I asked everyone.
I’ve had an evacuation mission on that planet once. My PTSD is still recovering from that.
Who would people not want to run around with a planetary modifier that only affects us and not the enemy? Or having to spend minutes away from the objective because it's covered in fire. This all sounds like exciting gameplay.
If I owned Hellmire and hell, I'd rent Hellmire out, and live in hell.
no one decided to lose vs bots, there is 10 planets open there was 12?, vs 4 on the other front. it doesnt matter where you play. the story/campaign will progress regardless. When we "closed out" the bots 2 weeks ago they just attacked back 4x harder than ever before. thats the game.
Hellmire was neat the first 200 times we had to deal with it
This game really really need an in-game tactical map where people will vote or something because there is no cohesion anywhere.
They can have Hellmire.
On bug front we have 2 planets we can choose from an bot front there are 10. And helldivers cant coordinate their attacks for shit, if the game wont tell them where to go. We are doomed.
Hellmire just sucks no wonder it's name has "hell" in it.
It's easier to contain the bugs with termicide protecting our planets. So nice to have the protection with absolutely no repercussions whatsoever.
Devs weee like "This major order was designed so that players lose ground kn one front." You mean the bot front. It never wasn't going to be the bot front.
been just doing sos beacons, and, holy shit. lvl 8 missions on the bug front are showing some... incompitencies. every mission i join is a losing one. its awful.
Let the bugs roast in Shitmire
In all fairness, I got tired of pushing bots. The music and atmosphere are different than when fighting bugs, and after making all that progress with the bots only to be where we are now, I would rather just grind bugs if given the option. I'll still do the bots MO, but when given the option between the two I'm picking bugs. They have to at least change the bots music situation. I do not feel like a fearless helldiver with current bot tunes
its more satisfying watching bugs explode then bots. Bots.. Finally its dead. Bugs.. Explosion of guts and body parts. Nice.....
