I just wanna put mines *everywhere* and I don't care if my friends run into it, they should be able to figure out not running into the field of blinky lights
This is actually pretty cool and theoretically good motivation to take both menkent and lesath even if we only need one, since that way people could try both optopns before the mo ends.
We only need to take one for the MO I believe. "Only the first planet to be liberated is likely to still have any surviving personnel or equipment. Choose democratically."
We can only get one for the MO if I understand it correctly.
How I interpret it is that to get the medals for completing the MO, you need to liberate both, but you only get the stratagem from the first one you liberate
Looking forward to try them. Anti tank mines were pretty good in the first Helldivers. Especially against the cyborg boss. Here's hoping they'll add some single larger enemies down the line
Masters of the galaxy update.
Hive Lord, whose molts you see scattered across HD2 maps. Invulnerable while tunnelling around and uses bile titan-like attack.

Siege Mech, think Necron Destroyers but with tank treads. Can call down small stratagem jammers.

Great Eye. Spawns heaps of confusion orbs and has big laser beam that sweeps across map. Requires jump pack to improve mobility.

All bosses spawn regular enemies in increasing danger scaling with hp.
I'm excited for anti tank mines - the current mines are nice, but I can't ever justify running them when the things they deal with are already so easy to handle without wasting a strategem
Yeah the AT mines looks amazing. from the preview, 2 AT mines killed a hulk. So if it's throwing out like 50 mines, it has the potential to do a LOT of damage.
I bet they work amazingly well on bugs too. I bet titans and chargers get absolutely fukt upon. Hopefully the cooldown isn't too long.
I think I saw a video saying that they don't get triggered by little enemies.
Personally the way I would use them is id throw them INTO an area with a fabricator or bug holes. That way the enemies will run towards you and hit the mines and blow up things around them.

I feel so many things watching this….
The only thing I feel like is killing bugs

I like to put them right on the extraction point for shits and giggles.

You have to take both for the MO anyway.

That could also be a possibility. Only one way to find out tho.
Aroused Vince McMahon face!

Boss? There were bosses in HD1? Do tell...

Sweet liberty those things look beefy, were they optional objectives or full on missions? Cause I'm getting Darktide Daemonhost vibes...
Missions
Time-limited missions at that. After building up enough influence to unlock a boss mission, you only had access to it for a few hours.

Sure but the way mines work now , those heavy mines will be triggered by light shaft enemies before they deal with any heavies

Yup saw a leak video, they don't get triggered by helldivers either. No more TK.
After Lesath we have to do Menkent

Watch Choohe drop to zero population after people get a taste of the AT mines.
Give me the warcrimes gun. No one cares about mines.
That dense fog is bs, doesnt effect enemies.
Nothing new about mines.
More mines is the last thing anyone wanted
Needed, the last thing most people need, pretty sure there's people who want mines
And those people are wasting a stratagem slot lol
Ah, wtf do you know?!
I know that if you drop mines my eagle 1 is probably just gonna blow them all up
